I believe our server's name was Brooke--she was tall, blonde, and incredibly friendly. She was attentive, welcoming, and made our lunch even more enjoyable. The Mac and cheese is basically elbow noodles tossed in a lacking velvetta cheese sauce; you're better off with other sides instead of that one. There's a sports bar atmosphere at the location with plenty of tvs and a bar area. They have since relocated to Corpus' Southside off of Yorktown, and have subsequently closed the former location. It's a great open-air sports bar, with good American bar food. They also have a plethora of draught beer, which is another reason why I believe they are so popular. The management and staff appear to be on top of things. Most of the service staff are young adults (I assume university students) who appear to have found a niche that suits them. One of the reasons I've been frequenting them so much recently is their burgers. You can customize them to your liking, and they are actually really good. Like many places I return to often, the servers have grown accustomed to my ordering habits, and it is now a flawless exercise. Easy peasy! This place may or may not be worth going out of your way to visit if you are a visitor here, but if you live near or around the Southside, it is definitely worth your time and money, IMO.
