I love wingstop and I dont want to stop liking it. but this disappointed me because I love their wings. I gave up meat and though wingstop would be great as a last meal since I will not be eating meat for a while. I used their online ordering and delivery (which I had never used). Upon opening my meal of 10 wings (5 lemon pepper / 5 garlic) I only received 8 (4 lemon / 4 garlic). I was unsure what to do from there because the doordasher that dropped of the meal was already gone and the wingstop location is about 15-20min away with the Lunch hour traffic. I called the location that made my order and was forwarded to the manager Karen, She advised that next time I order to tell them to add 2 wings. I really didn't want to explain that I gave up meat and if there was anything else she could do but I thought this might be useful for someone else that has missing pieces of wings when they order for delivery and what to expect. Is it possible to give a negative review as in minus stars? The staff in this restaurant is extremely rude including the manager who refused to give his name. The individual even hung up in my face. I can't wait to talk to corporate. I called to let them know that their service needed improving because with the order that was delivered the staff adamantly claimed the 52 oz drink was not included although it was paid for. Also when I let the staff know that the fries I requested to be lightly seasoned with lemon pepper was not, I was met with breathing. Nothing about customer recovery. Lastly while the "manager" was multitasking with me on the phone and a patron in person; I asked that he focus on one task at hand. He just then told me not to tell him what to do. Had a really bad experience. Sent my fiancee in to pick up our online order which had already been paid for. They wanted confirmation,ID, and credit card paid with. I'm surprised they didn't want my social security number or birth certificate too. All for wings?!? And all while other people had no issue getting their online orders with no proof. I told them to refund my money as I was not driving another 10 min each way to just get cold food and show them unnecessary things. I've never had an issue sending him to get out order. Went in on a busy Tuesday night....but that didn't stop Gavin and his night crew from swiftly preparing my largely order along with a plethora of other customers orders. Gavin managed to quickly and accurately take my order without the pressure like being on a first class flight but the pilot's jotting down your order instead of the flight attendant. 5/5 stars! I'm WFH like most during this pandemic & I decided to call wingstop off Ontario Ave and order some wings. When I first called the manager picked up and I asked about bone-in specials and she proceeded to mumble something and say mondays/tuesdays so I then was like okay, I whatever I totally didn't understand what she said but already know what I'm ordering 10 bone in wings. So I placed order & went to go pick up. I was in a time crunch since I was on a "15 min break" while working from home. When I get home I open the bag see the wings are boneless. So I usually don't care but since gyms are closed I've been doing keto so I won't eat the boneless wings. Whatever I know it's an easy fix. So I call the wingstop back & BAM. I'm being yelled at by the manager saying it's my fault the order is wrong, she said she remembers me ordering boneless wings, and that they won't exchange my wings for the right ones because it was my mistake when placing the order. She said you can place a new order for pick up. So finally I told her are you really yelling at me and telling me I'm wrong?! ( I was mind blown) like I am not trying to score some extra wings for free - I'm trying to get the right wings. Finally she said okay bring the wings back and you can pay for the difference on the order because bone in are more expensive. Which is fine. When I get there i get an eye roll as I walk in the door and a sigh and I get the wings exchanged but never an aplology just attitude, so I decided to leave the wings behind and leave with a cashier/cook who gave me ranch. What a hassle! I have never had problems here, before but this lady "manager" really made up for all the good customer service that I've had with this CIRCUS of an experience that she gave. Received a call from the "GM" and NEVER received an apology, he made it seem like it was no big deal, but it is. If I owned this place I would get a pit in my stomach knowing customers are getting this treatment from ppl I hire. Still haven't gotten a refund or an apology. Tight parking, limited seating, it's a long building but the kitchen takes up most of the space so it's basically one long row of tables which makes it a little hard if you're there to dine in for sports or events. The food is pretty much on par, if you make special requests the team usually gets it right but they tend to be very stingy on the seasoning for the fries so it's best to ask for extra. If you're worried about dry wings it does happen when they have a crowd so I suggest asking for them extra wet so you're not left asking for sauces on the side after the fact or being stuck at home regretting the experience. With it being a local spot that has good consistency I can't knock it, just know it's not the biggest location you'll probably visit and the wait is about average at 10-15mins depending on bone-in or boneless. read more

Had a disappointing experience with Wingstop. I ordered online and asked my husband to pick up our food on his way home from work. They refused to give him the food when he arrived because he needed my ID and credit card number. I texted him both my driver's license and credit card but they still refused to give him our order because the pic of my credit card did not show all the numbers because my new credit card has it on the back side while the front side said my name. We could not believe how difficult the staff was making it just to pick up our paid order. I even called the branch to speak to a manager who still did not want to give him our food. I can't understand why they were being so difficult. They could call and verify with our phone number which is placed with the online order. As this is happening a Grubhub worker comes pick up online orders ???? No need to verify ID or credit card.... it's very disappointing since my husband and I have been supporting local community restaurants and food chains during the covid pandemic and this is the service we get back.
