This is my favorite wing place in a town of many. I went to this University Dr. location last night and the wings were so good I had to go back today for my finicky father. He hates everything but I discovered (through 3 of my own wings) that he loves this Wing Stop. 5 stars across the board. They forgot to give me ranch so I drove 15 minutes back to the place to get some. When I get there they charge me for the ranch instead of handing it to me. my food was cold by the time I ate it. The service at this Wingstop is really fast for the amount of people they serve. There was a line out the door on game night, and they were knocking customers out left and right. The Mango Habanero is my favorite and the boneless wings were perfect with the fries and cheese dip. I recommend them for any big gatherings. I placed my order with the app with a ready time of 6:36. I get there about 6:45 and my order was not ready because they had an order of 1600 wings (according to a staff member). He went on to tell me he did not know when my order would be ready. My husband went back in to ask more questions and was told the same thing, he then asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere. Then they started saying the order was ready, even though it still wasn't. At that point the cashier started arguing back and forth with my husband and the cashier muttered "motherf*cker" under his breath. Then the cashier and my husband started cussing at each other. I have had nothing but problems with this location the last four times I have ordered. Eh, It was just OK...nothing stunning. The best was the garlic parm...I actually ordered 4 different wings off and on the bone. They were all OK, but the sticker price was a shock...especially when you consider that they are frying up half wings and selling them as whole...plus the boneless are from frozen packets. They seem to be simply selling the sauces. However, the tomato-based ones like BBQ and Hot, are highly acidic, vinegary..like eating a wing-pickle--and although that may sound nice, it's not to my liking. The Lemon pepper was overly salty and I ended up rinsing that powder off which gave me a wet wing. Maybe I just felt let down after the cashier boasted so much about their food. It sure did cost enough, nearly 30 bucks for 18 wings which I could have just done with the 6 garlic parm. They were actually decent. Overpriced and average. Do yourself a favor, buy the sauce, go next door to Kroger and get the wings you like. Prepare them at home, and dip them in the sauce. I have been to Wingstop a few times in other cities, and they have been okay for wings. Some time ago, I decided to try Wingstop here in town with a few classmates during lunch, to try something new outside the other wings places. Unfortunately, when we arrived during typical lunch hour time, one of the employees locked the door when she saw us approaching while she was talking on the phone. We knocked and tried to ask her through the door if they were going to open again for lunch, but she ignored us and kept chatting on the phone while pretending that we didn't exist. I went to Wingstop a while back, but I do recall that the strongest flavor was buyer's guilt. The sauces they coat their wings with are timid, and predominantly sweet. Perhaps they copied Buffalo Wild Wings. They were at least that weak. Even their hottest flavor was yawn-inspiring. read more

I have always gone to wing stops and I prefer them to Buffalo's. But this one is a disaster. The service is horrible, I showed up the other night at 11:40 to make a to go order since they close at 12:00 but they told us that since it was 15 minutes before close they couldn't. I've worked in restaurants for 4 years now and never had the luxury of turning down customers before we close. We proceeded to show her that it wasn't yet 11:45 and she said well we can't. Terrible experience. I love this place but today the counter guy couldn't be bothered to take an order. The kitchen staff was friendly but this guy was extremely rude to the customers and staff. He threw the phone when he finally decided to come to the front to take our order. Lost our order and then blamed it on me. We were told it would take 26 minutes. We said we would be back in 20. I went through hell with this place. After a friend of mine and I went in and had our food burnt and tried to speak to someone that night of course a manager was not on duty I tried for weeks to get in contact with someone. After getting ahold of Benji finally who wanted me to locate my own complaint in my e-mail which was old enough now gmail removed from my stuff, I never even so much as got an apology for the mistake. At one time in the past I can literally say this used to be one of my favorite places. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in College Station. It was pretty loud in there, so we couldn't hear the cashier when he was talking. My friend asked him to repeat what he said and he literally yelled at us with a tone that was clearly out of annoyance. He did not care about helping us and basically wanted to rush us and get us out of the way. When we got our food, we noticed that he was yelling at other customers as well. One customer's food was ready to pick up, and he kept yelling her name in a tone that was loud and almost threatening. I was in the local store around 11:00PM July 28th the night after my daughter was born, I have been running on about 2 or less hours of sleep for the past 2 days and neither I or my wife had eaten in the past couple days because I was taking care of my wife and us our daughter. When they both finally got to sleep I asked the nurses to keep an eye on them while I ran down to get some food for us. I love Wingstop so I choose to go there which is a good 20 minute round trip. I forgot my keys because of my exhaustion and got locked out of the hospital and had to walk all the way around to get back in which took me somewhere around 15 minutes to get my keys and back to my car. Once I got to the store I got and paid for my food. I took it back to the hospital and sat down to eat, by then it was about 11:45 or later at night. The fries were soggy and old but that was my fault, still good though so my wife and I ate those. but the wings were hard on the outside and tasted very burned. We only ate one and then threw the rest away; anyone that has had to stay at a hospital will know that they do not serve food all night so this was one of our limited options for food for two mentally and physically exhausted parents. This was on Thursday night. Yesterday we brought our daughter home so we were very busy and were still extremely tired so we didn't get around to calling until today just to be told there's nothing that can be done because I didn't call the same day to report the poor quality food, a policy I did not know was in place. The girl who took my call tried to get me something since she understood the circumstances but no one would budge to help us.
