This had been our go to spot; but here lately the food has taken a turn for the worst. Our order yesterday was horrible. The traditional wings were hard and dry. Barely enough sauce to cover one wing. The boneless wings weren't cooked long enough. The fries were Cajun Style, even though we didn't order them like that. Accepted a doordash order here. It was said to be ready by 7:39 PM. I waited until 9:30, until I was informed by an employee that my ticket was not even on the list. When I asked how long it would take, she essentially implied that I wasn't getting it. I had to go through doordash to get the order cancelled, and essentially wasted 2 hours of my life here. Many other dashers and customers informed me that they had been waiting upwards of 3 hours for their orders. I understand that it was a weekend and there may have been more orders than usual, but the entire mobile order system is a disaster. Employees ripping vapes instead of answering the phone or taking customer's orders too...just avoid this location. read more

I stopped in for lunch and I was the only person there at 12PM. The store looked nice and decorated decently. I went in for their 60 cent boneless wings and came away impressed with the food. I ordered 8 boneless wings 4 Mild and 4 Smoked BBQ with a side of fries. They said it would take 15 minutes for the order which seemed a little long but everything is made to order so it was fine. 15 minutes later the food came out hot and ready to eat. I tried the mild wing first and it was OK.. Nothing special, nothing to write home about. I then tried the Smoked BBQ wing and BOOM it was like flavor heaven. The sauce is out of this world, sooo good. The wings are really large compared to Wings and Rings or BW3, You have to try it, you won't be sorry. I then tried the fries and they were OK as well. had some seasoning on them but overall just your run of the mill frozen fries. So overall the service was friendly and food was saved by the Smoked BBQ Wings. I will probably be back when I go see a concert in October a few doors down. read more

Been here 3x since they opened ordering 50 pieces of classic wings each time. First time the seasoning on all wings, dry rub and sauce, was weak af. I ordered Lemon Pepper, Original Hot, Garlic Parm, and Korean Q. Thought maybe it was fluke since they had just opened. Came here 2 more times, weeks apart, and the seasoning was still real weak. There is nothing else wrong with this location. The service is good and the chicken is cooked through. But neither of those can make up for the lack of flavor. I was stoked when this one opened cause I would drive 20min to the one in Glenway probably twice a month. But until they step up here I'll be chilling for a minute. read more

Went to Wingstop for the first time after having a coupon I wanted to use. I've been to Wingstops out of state and the experience was pretty identical. I ordered a BOGO Combo. The wings were pretty good and I didn't have any seasoning issues that others were complaining about. The wings were great as well and had a better taste than Buffalo Wild Wings. I had Cajun seasoning on fries that were also very tasty. I also liked the taste of the ranch a lot better than Bdubs. Only complaints I really got is Wingstop (this isn't exclusive to this location) not using any actual napkin dispensers and instead using a roll of paper towels. It just comes off as cheap and annoying for customers. Also, the limited selection of soft drinks could be improved. read more

The staff's personality and energy...the best! Slightly makes up for the 20-30+ min. wait for food. It was extremely empty when there and two couples inside were highly agitated since they had to wait. My most recent visit I only got 6 boneless combo and my I could've gone home to fry wings/fries ate, clean up, then come back still waiting but who wants grease smell in the house? On top of that wings weren't even coated entirely. Not sure why there isn't any trash cans inside and since staff is working on other things unkempt tables were present. Quite some gnats too so not sure what's happening in kitchen. My group made sure to sit by glass to peep all they were doing. Food was standard. Nothing that "wowed" the taste buds. Not sure of the hype but kudos to their public reception. All in all, it was so-so. read more

I was so fed up with my last encounter I've stopped eating them all together, not just this location just this franchise period. I never leave reviews but this place absolutely deserves this. My boyfriend and I stayed in Covington for 2 nights this past weekend, Jan/21/23, Jan/22/23, we are from Lexington Kentucky. I've personally had wing stop around home many times and always have great experiences. When we were looking for dinner and I saw a wing stop 12 minutes away, I knew I had to go. I had been craving it. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I made the mistake of not reading any of these reviews before ordering online. I waited an hour upon arrival for my food to even be done even though on my app it said 2 minutes until ready when I got there. Every single employee is rude, unprofessional and I honestly hope they close this location. I would also like to point out they cater to their black customers more so than white. I am a white woman while my boyfriend is a black man. They told me my food was being worked on but we kept seeing people come in, order then get their food before me. After 45-50 minutes I had enough and started noticing a pattern with how they were working so I sent my boyfriend up there instead of me. Magically my food was done asap. Absolutely ridiculous. Slowest location ever. I ordered 10pc combo and there was only 1 person ahead of me. It took 30mins to get my food. I been to WingStop in Gainesville, FL and Columbus, OH and this is the worse. Plus I asked for lemon pepper and I can barely taste the seasoning. Bad service and food in the Campus area=failure. You better get new mgmt or this location will not last. Orders are never ready on time. I've placed orders online and over the phone. Each time they have yet to get started on them till I walk in the door.
