This guy was VERY rude. Says he's the owner but continued to be irate with me about my wings being very undercooked. I ordered from DoorDash and called in to see if my order could be remade. Once I arrived and I asked him about it he gets loud with me and tells one of the workers to throw my wings away which he then did. I'm NEVER ordering from here again. He told me to get a refund from DoorDash which I tried and I only got $5 back from a $36 order. I didn't want any money back I simply wanted my food and for it to be actually cooked. Very sad J was yelled at by a grown man.

A little light on the sauce, but super crunchy

Ordered a large take out order 5 hours ahead of time. They started working on it when I showed up at the pickup time.

Every week I look forward to returning for some wings and wine (of which they pour GENEROUSLY). Valerie is a great bartender -- engages in good convo every once in a while but doesn't intrude so much that it becomes annoying. She's a true people person and understands the basics of good service very well. To be fair I'd say the very same about the rest of the service staff, to which there aren't many but they manage to handle the bar and tables throughout very well. Shout out to Dawson for really taking care of customers and getting to know the patrons, and the owner who occasionally pops out of the kitchen to see how the place is doing. Everyone is genuinely very friendly. The back patio is great for larger families and pups (this place is hella dog friendly). The bathrooms are spotless and smell amazing. The clientele is incredibly chill. It's right off of the rail trail which is basically Chamblee's beltline. There are deals throughout the week and sometimes they host live music. The music they play in-house caters varies from country to rock to old school r&b. And the tap is honestly quite good and I'm not even a beer drinker. The pretzels are addictive. The wings are soooo good -- they bake them first to keep the juices in and then they fry them for the crunch: PERFECTION. The cheese curds are wonderful but definitely eat them while they're hot! And did I mention they serve THC infused drinks yet? HYFR. Man it's such a chill place so I wish it'd stay downtown Chamblee's little neighborhood secret but I have to give them their 10s publicly. They're only open evenings though!

I thought they were both just okay, actually ended up taking them home and making a sauce to coat them in. 5/10 - Wisconsin cheese curds ($11): portion huge, the cheese is nicely battered and comes with a ranch dipping sauce. While it is slightly salty I really enjoyed it and would come here just for this 9/10 - moondog burger ($15): beef patty with bacon and comes with fries. The food was a bit undersalted 7/10 Definitely get the cheese curds

Chicken wings and the oklamhoma smash burger with mac and cheese. Total: $33.22. Pros Those wings with the lemon peper sauce are delicious. That lemon pepper sauce? Amazing. I get tired of the lemon pepper dry rub or the dry rub with butter/oil. They made an actual sauce. Love it. The burger was delicious. It was more cookout style- not like Wendys or McDonald's. Cons The cheese on top of my mac and cheese was not melted. I'm sure this was a choice by the restaurant, but I prefer melted cheese on top of the mac. Would I Recommend: Yes! This was quite a nice surprise and I really liked it. The burger is relatively small for the $15 I paid. The Mac Attack is mostly fries, mac and cheese, chicken tenders, and sauce. This entree was much bigger and only cost $12. I would want to buy this again.

They kept the spicy margaritas flowing, and let me tell you those drinks have just enough kick to make you rethink your life choices in the best way possible. Now, let's talk about this food, because I'm pretty sure I heard angels singing. The Fried Wings were fried to such perfection I'm convinced the chef has a PhD in crunch-ology. The Yams! These sweet potatoes were clearly touched by the Candy Lady herself. I don't know if it's sugar or magic, but I'm addicted. The Mac and Cheese! It was so perfect I almost asked it to marry me. My husband, went the "responsible" route with the baked turkey wing, green beans, and yellow rice. That turkey was falling off the bone like it was tired of being an overachiever, and the green beans had more flavor than my entire childhood. Even the rice was seasoned like it had a point to prove. Bottom line: If you're looking for us, we'll be here. This isn't just a meal, it's a spiritual experience. If "Soul Food" is the question, this place is the only answer.

I can't speak to how busy it is during peak hours but 4pm was a great time to visit! Not too busy at all. The service was great, we sat on the patio, our waitress was super attentive and sweet. I had the frozé cocktail, husband had a beer. Good drinks, nothing crazy to note here. Let's talk about the food: The battered mushrooms were amazing! They were big mushrooms, with a tasty batter, and horseradish sauce which was interesting to pair together. I had the slice of pizza, it was huge, I love that you can add toppings, it was fresh and tasty, the crust was DELICIOUS. My husband had the stromboli which comes with a side of marinara sauce, which I had to steal some for my pizza crust, it was such tangy and bright marinara, the Stromboli was loaded with filling and cheese, it was so delicious. That's heavy praise. I came here with an Atlanta native and she knew what to do, what to order, what to drink, and where to sit. If you come here as an out-of-towner, you need to come with a native. They know how to navigate these waters. Being a bar, I needed to start with a drink. No need to be cute. Go with an easy well and keep 'em coming. For me, that meant rum & Coke. No surprises. Decently strong. Moderate ice. Every time. Done. Knowing that a liquid diet of this sort (with work in the morning) was a bad idea, my colleague opined that we needed food. The menu is very large and I didn't know where to start. She did -- and did. We ordered wings and fries. But these weren't your big chain wings and fries. The wings -- because we're in Atlanta -- were (of course) lemon pepper. They were meaty, seasoned (!!!), fried just hard enough to have crisp & snap, and (best of all) were not dried out. Atlanta knows how to do wings. The fries were of the shoestring variety but they were flavored with bbq seasoning. Crazy.Good. I couldn't stop eating. I think we went through three orders.* And that was a good thing because while others were hung over the next morning, I was dewey fresh. *It wasn't just the two of us... but it could have been.
