We have been here a couple of times and have always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. However, we went a couple of days ago and the service was slower than normal. I am originally from Buffalo New York, this is my absolute favorite wing place since I left home.... The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the employees are outstanding. I love the fact that when I ask for blue cheese for my wings they don't look at me like I am crazy! This is the only place since I moved to Amarillo that I will purchase wings. read more

Fast, courteous and efficient service. We would compliment her by name, but the girl running the counter was moving so fast we didn't catch it. We placed an online order, added an extra item when we got there to pick up, and they handled the change with no problem. We were in and out ahead of the online predicted time. This place just raised prices Again! & 1 of my chicken tenders was a regular size, the rest were only 2 inches but they counted each one as a whole, full size piece. They never called our name for our order. We kept getting up to check the counter but no food was up there. About 40 minutes later, once all of the customers were gone, including the customers that placed orders after us, we got up to ask & just inside the kitchen was our to go order. They told us the one who prepared the order forgot to write our name on the bag so they didn't know who the order belonged to so instead of trying to figure out, they just left the bag sitting just off the kitchen! So not only did we over pay, get cheated on the amount of food, & had to wait a long time, now our food is cold too! After a long while, we tried eating here today & were disappointed. I have ordered from the one off of Grand many times. Never had an issue. I love this place. However the 45th location needs to get it together. Iv been on hold for 45 minutes before. Whoever I talked to on the phone was not friendly. I work in customer service as well, I understand busy, believe me. But just take my order and let me know a wait time and I will wait. read more

I enjoyed the Louisiana rub wings and mild wings . The fries were great they had a slightly sweet and salty taste. . It was gross that a near by table which was empty the whole time we were there had chicken bones on the table. One of the nice things about dining in is that they one of those fusion beverage machines with over 100 options. read more

Absolute worst on the phone. Called twice, got out on hold both times for over five minutes. Employee chose to hang up on me twice when she returned to the call. I showed up to order. Employees have an absolute mess in the back. Poorly managed place because I know for a fact the location on grand does not operate as poorly as the location on 45th. I've stopped going here. Love the wings when they get it right, but that just happens too infrequently. The service is awful. Order 50 wings and get home to find I've been shorted 5 or 10 wings. Sure, if I go back in they replace them, but it's a major pita. This has happened several times. Also, I prefer my wings well done and half the time this request is ignored. read more

We used to love going to WingStop. Faithful customers for the 3+ years. We usually do take out.The past two times, they got our order wrong or forgot a part of it. Since we do take out - we don't find out until we get home. The first time it happened, I thought shame on them. We went back & they were rude & unapologetic. The second time our order was wrong, again we found out when we got home. This time I thought - shame on us for not checking before leaving. But, we had grown accustomed to their good services for the past 3+ years.My husband went back & the MANAGER was rude & unapologetic. Last night was our last night to eat WingStop. I don't know what has happened this past year - but it isn't good. I will say that they have the best wings. The garlic parmesean are awesome. read more

The I-40 grand location seriously needs a new manager who's capable of communicating. We went in last night and placed our order at 6:21 the young lady who placed my order said it would be about 18 minutes for our order. We patiently waited and at 6:51 I approached the counter and asked when our order would be ready.The young lady asked her manager who mumbled under her breath and the young lady said 15 minutes I told her we placed our order at 6:21 and why were expected to wait another 15 minutes she had no explanation. I waited another 7 minutes and walked back to the counter and asked to just take my order to go. During this time a woman with a online order was missing parts of her order and another woman walked up to the counter and wanted to know how much longer on her order. At 7:08 an order was up for a customer that had came in about 10 minutes after we had been seated. I finally demanded a refund. The manager never apologized or offered an explanation while refunding me my money. As we were walking out the little chihuahua at the counter popped off with have a great day in a condescending tone and was throwing up okie dokie signs with her fingers. I first attempted to place my order online but the site would allow me to enter my credit card number. I then called the order in at approximately 7:05 p.m. The young lady that took my order told me that it would be 14 minutes. I headed that direction about 10 minutes later. I am visiting the Amarillo and not familiar with the area and got lost. So I did not arrive at this location until 7:30 p.m. The gentleman that was at the front counter was handing out an order and did not take my payment but referred me to some else. That gentleman went to get my order but told me that it was not ready but that they were currently preparing my order. A young lady came to the front to continue taking orders of walk-ins and answer the phone. As I was waiting I noticed that the dining area was filthy. There were 3 occupied tables but the rest of the tables and trays of food and food on the floor around the tables. People that were walking in and wanted to be seated could not because of the filth. I continued to wait for my order which did not come out until 7:48. Now how is that 14 minutes. No large orders were picked up while I was there. Other people that had placed orders by phone had to wait for their orders also. I realize I passed up another Wingstop to purchase at this one. The reason I passed that one up is because the ratings online were horrible. This one is just as horrible and I will never eat there again and recommend others to find a different chicken place all together. As a franchisee, your representation was disgusting and I hope the corporate office sees this review. read more

The wings are ok and the fries are great but the service stinks. They won't let you get water to drink with your meal here. They make you purchase a drink because they don't carry "water cups" so there is no way for them to serve you water. Whatever.... read more

Never understand why the employees at 45th find it necessary to make rude comments and give immature attitude and tone over the phone, when placing an order. Sad to see how poor the customer service has turned into. How there are no descent employees there. By far the worst business practices I've ever experienced. I've had bad experiences before with this exact location and it only seems to get worse over the years. This location will never get my business again after this last instance. A brief summary of this bad business practice is that I take my daughter out to eat once a week. When I got home her portion of the order was correct yet mine was not. I only have a limited amount of time with my daughter and explained when I called the store that her portion of the order was correct yet mine was not and I would take store credit or get my portion of the order at a later time. The store refused and wanted the whole order returned which denied me getting the one day out of the week to have dinner with my daughter and then refused any refund. There was no point in even having the food once I had it replaced since I couldn't even eat it with my daughter, and the manager could care less. Terrible business! Just to mention a good business practice, I was at the Wendy's in Plainview, TX recently and accidentally handed them my expired card and knew it would be declined yet they didn't say a word and I saw the manager comp it. Even though I don't live anywhere close to Plainview that business will receive more money from me than this business ever will again. read more

This ranks up there with some of the WORST food experiences I've ever had. The boneless strips I ordered tasted like they were previously breaded and frozen and then microwaved. The breading was soggy and they were disgusting all around. To make it worse, they were closer to nugget size than strip size. I ordered a "family" sized portion that included 16 boneless strips but it was really enough for 2 people, and that's if you could stand to eat such garbage food. The fries had about twice as much salt on them as they should have and they were half raw. You are better off buying frozen strips from Walmart and microwaving them at home - at least it will only cost you about 1/3 of the price. read more

Smallest wings I have ever seen. You better order at least twice as many as normal. That makes it pretty pricey as well. Wings taste ok, nothing spectacular. I think they use quail wings instead of chicken. Expect a fair amount of time to wait also. read more
