My food was ready for me when I got there after calling in my order. Everything was quick and easy with good customer service. $15 for everything which is pretty much the standard now and it comes with a large drink. Menu items are freshly made. Wings are crispy and delicious. Some of the chicken wings are a little bit small, but that's probably because they're not injected with growth hormones or who knows what. The flavors are delicious. I prefer the lemon pepper seasoned wings. Fries are large and fresh off the fryer. Crispy and perfectly salted. The dips and sauces are complimentary to the wings and fries. The gyros are delicious too. Gyros and hot wings are a perfect combo. Yummy. So this place was next door. To the pizza place. So I wanted a Greek salad, wife wanted a wings and shrimp. Took forever to get our food. This is iceberg lettuce!!! For a Greek salad. Not! No olives! I didn't want onions so that's why there not on here. Wife's shrimp was soft. More so like it wasn't fried fully. We will never be coming back to this location! I had a craving for wings a few weeks ago. I looked at the menus of some of the other places and not happy with the prices. I just wanted a decent amount of wings and fries for a reasonable price. After further research, I found this place and it was not far from me. I decided on the 10 piece wing combo and was very happy with the amount of food I received for the amount I paid. I was able to fill up on fries and wings without draining my wallet. Ordering "lava" wings was a good decision; I like wings to be hot but not so miserable that I cannot taste anything afterwards, and this flavor hit that sweet spot. I was reaching for the napkins pretty quickly after starting (they are wings, after all), so be ready for a delicious mess. Placed an order online, arrived and found out they were getting ready to close since their internet went down which would not allow them to be able to process any sort of payment. After showing the gentleman my order, he then went out of his way to prepare it just for us. While it was a small act of kindness, it really meant a lot. Ordered in some food from here recently. It was a lot of food so that's a pro depending on whether you like leftovers. They gave me some extra wings and a TON of fries. Could have easily fed 2-3 people. My drink in my combo came in a 40 oz cup and I got diabetes just holding it. But as far as quality goes, I was glad my food wasn't greasy but my wings tasted like fish. Maybe they use the same oil to fry fish as they do their wings. I got mine plain to save some calories (what was I thinking this wasn't Zoe's) but I guess that was my mistake because unlike Purple Onion, their plain ones are really just fried naked wings not the breaded kind. So yeah they had a fishy after taste. Their fries although plentiful, lacked a crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside factor. Mine were kind of limp and some were overdone. Oh well I gave them a try and wasn't a big fan but I can see why they have loyal customers. I'm sure the Bluff Park area loves this place since every place in the area notoriously bags in a ton of food with huge portions like they do. But you can't make everyone happy by over feeding them lol. Sometimes you need to up the quality instead. I think I'll stick to purple onion where the portions are just normal but quality superb. Kese wanted what we call urban wings. We only have Buffalo Wild Wings in Alabaster so I had to search. I was in between Homewood and Hoover. This location came up and boy were they happy to hear it. Lol. They cooked the wings to order so you know it's fresh. They offer the same menu as all the rest of the Wings Plus joints around. I ordered the kids 15pc lemon pepper with ranch cheese fries since one kid only wanted wings. Kese had a 10pc hot lemon pepper with Cajun ranch fries. I stole a lemon pepper wings from the girls and it was deliciously crispy and had the right amount of seasoning on the wings. The fries were the thick crinkle cut fries and as hard as they try to hold up to hot cheese they end up needing a fork to eat. Which is still delicious lol. Great find. Now we don't have to drive all the way to bham to get these type of wings and fries now. Great find. The men working the front counter was friendly and had a good time laughing at me fussing at my family via the phone trying to get their orders from them. The peach tea is AMAZING too. My family and I planned and was excited to order delivery from wings plus v during FOOTBALL SATURDAY, We placed our order on DOORDASH! We ordered 20 mild wings, 6 honey BBQ and a small salad We were REQUIRED to order Flats or Drums for $1.00 (it's 2)This was ok. When the food arrived it was left on the front steps. Touchless and COMMUNICATION LESS delivery. The plastic bag was full of HONEY BBQ sauce in the bottom and on the other containers. WHAT A MESS. The Blue cheese dressing was no included but the Ranch did. Our MANDATORY selection of DRUMMETTES at $2.00 additional cost, well we got both Flats and Drums. ???? You make me choose and WHY for $2.00 why, why why? Then the flats and drums were just barely warm, they had a slight fishy taste from the cooking oil and the EYE APPEAL was not there at all wrinkled as heated up after being cooked earlier. Last week the owner checked me out at the drive-through. He was not wearing a mask so I asked him why not. He struggled to find a reason then said he has asthma and cannot wear a mask. I asked why his staff doesn't have masks on and he said they are 16 and 17 years old and do not want to. The manger goes on this explosive rant about how I should have called the nite before!
