With the ever groing chicken tender spots, kickin chicken has a spot in the Denver food scene. What…read moremakes them stand out are the fresh ingredients and being the only Asian inspired with a Mexican twist joint out there (correct me if I'm wrong). There are many hot chickens, but those flavors get tiring and honestly it's more one dimensional in taste. The chicken Katsu isn't your traditional Hawaiian/Japanese but it's close. They put their own twist on it and it delivered. I personally still prefer the Hawaiian style chicken Katsu but this is very good. I wish the Mac salad was creamier as it was pretty dry that night. The elote was good, but nothing to rave about. The fried rice complimented the chicken well. White rice would also go well to help with the saltiness of the chicken. The tenders are good and juicy. It has a light breading which is great since it emphasizes the meat of the chicken well. They priced their meals perfectly and its cheaper than many places which makes it a hit. I wish I can give it a 5 but it's closer to a 4.25. Kickin chicken will be in my rotation for post shift meals since it's conveniently placed across the street!

It's been a long time coming but Dan Da is hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Colorado…read moreand probably in the US. When you think of Vietnamese, Americans tend to think of Pho, noodle bowls and lemongrass chicken but we need more places the focuses in home cooking and dishes that locals eat. Ingredients are fresh and dishes pack a powerful flavor bomb...I mean wow! The use of shrimp paste and other traditional ingredients really elevate flavors that many Americans are not used to, but you have to try it to understand. Their claypots are a must order and with a side of rice....you'll be eating for days! The star of the night was the pork and calamari claypot which is cooked in shrimp paste and your favorite Vietnamese spices and herbs. You'll finish bowls of rice with this dish, it packs so much flavor that you'll be wanting more. It's a great mix of salty, sweet and umami from the fermented shrimp paste. The Vietnamese curry was thick and packed with succulent shrimp. The veggies at a very nice brightness to balance out the coconut milk. The last dish we had was a shrimp lemon grass in the clay pot and that was also a hit with everyone! Service is amazing and they definitely know how to recommend dishes to match your taste buds. They went out of the way to help everyone and it shows. If you need a new spot, check Dan Da!

Absolutely disgusting experience at this pho restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the customer…read moreservice was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. My girlfriend and I sat there for nearly 10 minutes while employees stood around on their phones gossiping instead of doing their jobs. When they finally acknowledged us, they literally tossed dirty silverware on the table with ONE napkin for both of us, despite multiple employees standing right in front of us. The table was filthy, the condiment bottles were sticky and covered in grime, and the entire place looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in days. If the staff spent half as much time cleaning as they do standing around talking, maybe the restaurant wouldn't feel so unsanitary. The dishes themselves were dirty, the sauce tasted putrid, and the vegetables looked at least a day or two old. The food was barely edible and honestly one of the most disappointing pho experiences I've ever had. What made it worse was watching other diners receive noticeably better treatment while we were ignored and treated like an inconvenience. To be completely honest, the entire experience felt uncomfortable enough that it came across as potentially racist. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Terrible service, disgusting cleanliness standards, and food that should never have left the kitchen.

We had a reservation for 5:00 and we got seated at a table on the patio. We luckily were early enough to make it in time for their happy hour menu which had some great choices on it. For our starters we had the curtido chopped salad, with grilled cabbage and beets 7.5/10. We also had the butter lettuce and tarragon which was very good 8/10. For our first appetizer we had the sea island red peas and cauliflower, very good, loved the cauliflower 8.3/10. We also had the burger and fries from the happy hour menu. The burger was cooked well, 8/10, a little too much sauce but homemade ketchup and homemade bun, it's hard to go wrong. If anything the patty was a little thin, but the fries were great and crispy 8.5/10. For our entrees we had the roasted half chicken 7/10. The sauce was just alright and the first piece of chicken was a little dry but the rest of the slices were very good. We also had the pork tenderloin tournedos, pretty straight forward, great prunes and potatoes 7.5/10, the sauce made the dish. Nothing caught our eye for dessert, however we were pretty full and there are a lot of great dessert options at Stanley Marketplace. We enjoyed our time here and will look forward to coming back in the future!

He nailed our orders and the food came out pretty quick. I hadn't had bison brisket before, super tender and juicy, full of flavor. The sprouts were great and the broccoli was creamy and delicious. The mashed potatoes were puréed to perfection and the gravy was the perfect finishing touch. It was really busy for a Tuesday but we only waited about 20min. Totally worth the wait! Adding Ted's to my list of must visits in the Denver area. Highly recommend!!

this may have been the best short rib of my life,,,thank god you have another location,,,san diego…read morewill be seeing me when we ordered, i thought things were a bit expensive. however when the dish came out, i realized it had MASSSSSSSIVEEE chunks of meat on even larger bones. the sauce was sweet, not to an unbalanced profile, but it complemented the spice and savoriness of the meat. i floated after the first bite wow it was really tender as well. i appreciate the tongs, scissors, and glove that the gave us too! it helped with eating the whole thing. i kid you not this was some of the best banchan ive had too. the kimchi had a great slight fishiness, not too tart which is perfect for me. both the radish and kimchi had the freshest crunch that is sometimes hard to come by. usually i'm used to more variety but the flavors and textures of these two. the spicy brisket stew was delicious!! reminded me of mama instant noodle taste which i love. i wish there were more glass noodles but there was soooooo much brisket that substituted my craving well. the tteokbokki was probably the most underwhelming dish. i think for $10, the portion is tiny and the sauce is just mild and a big thinner than im used to. the tteok itself was a good texture, but the short rib dish had tteok too which was swimming in that heavenly sauce. we just ended up mixing the tteok and short rib dish to create the best of both worlds. i love how they package their to go containers too - airtight fast service and kind owners

They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.
