I came to Wings Etc for a birthday event. I don't know why this restaurant has such average reviews because I loved it. The wings were crispy and delicious. We decided to get sauces on the side which I think was a good decision. The sauces were mild at best. None of them was considered spicy. I did not see mango habanero, which has always been my favorite. Our server was great. She was attentive and took care of all our needs. Wings Etc is similar to Buffalo Wild Wings. I like the inside of the restaurant better than Buffalo Wild Wings though. It's more spacious and less busy. read more

Went to this location this past weekend. I prefer to sit in the bar area to be able to see the TV's better. Our waitress was good and we left her a good tip. I have been here before and it's always been ok. This time I was a little underwhelmed. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and curly fries. The fries were definitely old and lukewarm to cold. The sandwich was just a piece of chicken on a bun. The picture in the menu shows it with lettuce and tomato, but the description doesn't. The other person I was with had a pork tenderloin and tots. Had heard this location was going to open. Drove by to see how it was coming along. It was open so had to try. Fried pickles were good Ordered 10 piece bone in with Hot Buffalo and Wall Sauce. The split the order 50/50 which is great as you can try a couple sauces. Buffalo had a good flavor and the wall had a very good flavor to me along with a bite. That can make you sweat. They have a wall challenge which is 16 wings no napkins, water or other food. I stayed away from that as I enjoy the flavor the food has . For me the fries needed their Cajun seasoning. The staff was very energetic and very friendly it is great to see all the staff with that attitude. Military folks they do offer a discount on the food along with an honor wall. I took a road trip to Topeka KS recently and picked this place to try. Why? I love wings! But truthfully I picked this place because I was told it is the bomb dot com. I had the lunch wing special. 8 wings, two flavors with a side of curly fries. I ordered the Tweener and Blazin Asian. Flaps are my jam so I asked if they would just allow me to order those over the "drums". They happily obliged. We had a sweet server. I am sorry to say I can't remember her name. She represented really well for Wings Etc. Service was a 10 out of 10. The wings were 10 out 10. Fried crispy and hot. The tweener is hot but not burn your face off hot. Just the right heat. Likin it to a Buffalo sauce with a little more pizazz. Blazin Asian is sweet, savory and a sprinkle of heat. Very good! Curly fries were fresh with just the right seasoning and crisp like fries should be. Lunch was served very quickly. I would say the wait was no more than 10 minutes. Not bad for a lunch hour! The restaurant and bar areas are clean and well designed. It has a warm feel to it. The decor is 100% Pride for all things Kansas and sports related. We've driven by Wings Etc. multiple times now and every time we saw how busy there were, so we finally decided to give them a try! First, the outside does no justice for the inside. On the outside it looks like it might be the size and setup of a Subway, but in fact the seating area alone is three times the size! The vibe is a mix between a Buffalo Wild Wings, Logan's, and some popular local bar and grill. Second, the food is pretty dang good! We got the curly fries and some Hot BBQ Wings. The fries were delicious and the Cajun seasoning was a great add. The wings were twice the size of what you get a B Dubs and their overall quality was top of the line as well. Lastly, the service was fast and friendly. We went on a Friday evening right before it started getting busy and we not only were checked in several times by our waitress, but even got to talk to the owner David. I ordered 16 wings and fries along with fried mushrooms. I got my food and the fries were semi cold and salty. The wings were overcooked and tough which made it hard to eat to eat them and then on top of top I got fried cauliflower instead of mushrooms which was disappointing. We came here during the late lunch hour on a Monday and we really enjoyed the food. We tried a variety of the sauces and our favorite was Say it Ain't TSO, their spin on a chinese favorite. They have lunch special so we went with the half pound tenders tots, and about 6 of the .69 wings. We really enjoyed the freshness of the chicken and the taste of the tots. This place has improved significantly with the service and try the wraps they are great! Great place to watch all your sports games where you have a great view from any seat. Trevor normally at the bar makes sure you are pleased with the service and food. This place used to be fantastic.. now every my wife and I go we're left severely disappointed. We attempted to give them another shot at winning us back tonight 03/24/2023 however we ended up leaving completely empty handed. We got sat at 8:10 in a booth since we have a newborn child, the host told our server that she sat us in her area and her response was "well im cut sooo" which translates to "I'm not doing anything for that table" we waited for over 15 minutes while we watched her continue to sweep and mop and never looked in our direction. We were never greeted by anybody other than the hostess. We ended up giving up and left and spoke with two managers at the bar who had no idea what was even going on on their own floor. This place needs a serious turnaround. Otherwise it's going to be another business that bites the dust. read more

Wow, this was the best chicken sandwich I have had in a long time. My husband and I ordered to-go food online. It was ready at the assigned time and had all of our special requests. I saw they were open while I was at the Classic Bean. So I stopped in for a beer and a wrap to go. I ordered a hoppy basset. The gal asked me if I wanted a large, a 16oz or a 10oz. I never have more than one beer when I am driving and if I can have one less than 12 oz that's what I have. So I ordered a 10. She gave me an awesome little mug. I ordered a buffalo wrap to go with hot buffalo sauce. I got my check and they charged me for a 16oz beer. I told them I only had a 10oz beer. This was a different bartenderette. She told me they don't sell 10oz beers. I said I literally just had one. She said it isn't on their list so she had to charge me for a 16. I said fine. If I had known they didn't sell them when it was offered to me I would not have bought it. I get home and my wrap was marked medium. I ordered hot. There was more crispy skin in the wrap than there was chicken and I could barely taste the sauce. The place is just okay. Their prices are reasonable. And some of the issues could be because they are brand new and still training the help. regardless I don't think I will be back. read more
