12/29/21 Ireland Road location: 2 nearly raw grilled chicken sandwiches on burnt buns. Fried buffalo shrimp and boneless wings swimming in grease. Room temperature coleslaw. 30 minute wait on all of the above. Supposedly a new cook with little training. Manager? What manager? Server was very apologetic and earned a larger than normal tip. The best thing at Wings Etc are the wings. I really feel spoiled by Chicago-area restaurants. I have such high standards now. I want restaurants to impress me. This one doesn't, but it's not a bad place, per se. The wings are pretty good. Pretty big and meaty and the sauces are nice. Tweener is a good spice level for me. The rest of the food? Well, the portions are enormous. I once made the mistake of ordering the "sliders", expecting small little three-bite burgers. They were the size of a fast-food burger! Three of them! I managed one! This time we ordered nachos (we love us some nachos) and I got a buffalo chicken wrap. The nachos were all right. Chips were round and food-servicey, cheese was a combo of real and bright yellow, chili was decent, lots of tomatoes and lettuce. Salsa was all right, I feel like they assembled this out of cans and bags. My wrap was good -- the accompanying curly fries are pretty tasty -- but really the best part was the crispy, sauce-covered chicken. The cheese didn't meld that well and the whole thing fell apart as I tried to eat it. The burgers are better but make sure you have a big appetite. Service was decent, nothing special but acceptable. All in all, it's not that impressive, but if you want some wings -- sure, why not. Mostly, this is the sort of place to go if you're hungry and not picky. read more

I love their wings but the beer prices are too high. The wings are large and tasty. The selections of sauces are great. The large schooners of domestic beer are just too expensive and I don't go there as often. read more

Nice sports bar restaurant. They do have a bar side and a family side. The wings are great. Tweener sauce is my favorite. Today I'm trying the buffalo chicken tweener wrap. Curly fries the bomb! read more

I think their wings are pretty good here and compete for top spots. Something new to try would he their pulled pork nachos...they are huge and delisious. I would say it would be a good apppetizer for 4 people or if there are just two solit that eith some wings for a filling meal. read more

Excellent wings and friendly atmosphere! Some of the younger staff seem unenthusiastic and lazy, which sucks because that seems to be the only people they hire to serve. First time coming here to eat from Chicago, and the wings were delicious , but I was very disappointed with the service. Our server , Teresa, was not friendly at all . We asked to have our server switched after she took 2-3 tables orders before us , when we arrived before them! I believe it was the Manager who took her place and got our order, and our food. He definitely saved her , and us from never returning again! We left the 10% of the bill for tip , eventhough she didn't deserve it, and would've preferred if the man that helped received it instead. I love the wings. I love to have the dry wings with some ranch on the side to dip in. The ranch is awesome, Mozzarella sticks are really cheesy and meaty and give a good cheese pull. I live the fires how they are crisp on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. This is my favorite restraint to sit down and eat at, if I'm there or at home. Usually love this place and come atleast a couple times a month but today's experience was so bad I will not be back to this location. Was ignored by the waitress and when we asked about food missing from our order she proceeded to stop and take other tables orders. We had to eventually ask another server to get what we were missing. If every other visit prior to third was not so excellent I'd only be giving this place one star. read more

A nice wing place that was packed and had a spacious bar plenty of TV screens. he menu is extensive but this place specializes in wings and they ave a variety of tasty flavors with mucho meat on their wings unlike other places one will come across. Awful service. Party of 7. Some how our order did not get put in w the other 5. Took a good 45 minutes to get our food. So they discount everyone's bill by 30%. No apology from our server so I guess I saved another 15% by leaving no tip. I realize it is a wing joint and not haute cuisine, but a simple apology goes a long way. I love Wings, etc. and this location specifically. Went there for lunch with a group yesterday and the service was ridiculous. Our waiter had friends who say in his section and at one point was sitting at their table just chatting for a good while and we sat there with empty cups and had been waiting for over a half hour for food. The service continued like that the rest of the time - basically took two hours to get food, pay our bill, etc. Which is very unusual for Wings, etc. The food though was great as always! read more

This place used to be amazing. Great food and great staff. But recently they place looked like it's changed over staff. New staff are awful-service speed sucks and food time is longer and/or food is cold. Worst part is when you walk in, THEY DONT EVEN SEEM TO CARE! I ordered wings and fries for pickup over the phone. They said 10mins, so I did a few things and showed up 15mins later and my food was still not ready. When it finally was, I paid and got handed two bags. Got home and all that was there were wings. I call up and the girl remembered my order and couldn't believe they forgot my fries. She tells me I can either come get the fries or they can refund the price of them. I opted for the refund, at which point she tells me that I will have to come in anyway to get the refund since they have to swipe the card to do so. I say, fine, in that case I'll take the fries. So I head back over, the 10min drive back there from my house, go in, she's on the phone and turns to me, hands me the bag, turns back around to the phone call and walks away. No "I'm so sorry" or "we added a few extra wings for your trouble" or...anything. needless to say I wont be going back. read more

So tonight my we went in and had wings, it was very bad service, waitress was not friendly at all. I had a $10.00 gift cert. from a previous to go order that was not right , so we ordered our food, they messed up my son's order completely after waiting a LONG time to get our food. Then our wings came, they were way over cooked to the point of being tough, and not to mention they were cold. The whole experience there was horrible. I was told they are under new management. Amazing wings and great atmosphere! The honey mustard sauce is delicious and the cajun fries add a good taste to any meal.

I love Wings, Etc! Theresa and Billy at the Ireland Rd. location always make our dining experience fun. Thanks for taking time to visit with the kids. They like coming here too. The food is good, the atmosphere is energetic, and the drinks (for everyone but the DD) are always a hit. Please bring back the broccoli bites. We miss them. read more
