Food is always well done but to be fair I only eat cheese burgers and bone in wings here. Their wings special on Monday is perfect I get 10 bone in Wings with tweener sauce. Looking back on my previous review I want to acknowledge that Robert did call me back later and we talked about the issues I brought up. He talked about how they were handling them and was dedicated to making things better. I have been back twice now and the service and drinks have been good. They have good burgers and wings, their fries are also very good and they give generous portions. Their margaritas are also really good. I will go again. This place has crashed down hill since changing up management. Food is never cooked right, the waitresses that used to work there left due to the new general manager not doing his job and the staff they have now do not in any way seem happy to be working there. I really like the food here but tonight the service was just horrible. We waited at least 45 minutes for our food which was nothing more than a salad and boneless wings. A group of 6 came in after us and they all got their food before us. A table of 2 that came in after us got their food, ate and left before we got our food. My daughter and husband would go 4 stars but they are wings people. They both say these are their favorite wings in Kzoo. I just am always "OK"about this place. It's hit or miss on whether or not you get some good service. I'm not a wing person and everything is pretty much fried. I've gotten the fried fish before and it's pretty good. I've gotten food poisoning here. There's not much to say other than that. However 3 out of 4 of us got sick immediately after eating there. This place is horrible. The wing sauce was oily and had no flavor... I literally had a pool of liquid in the bottom of my basket. The sauce would not stick to the wings, so it was like eating wet wings, with no flavor. Also, the tater tots were really greasy and tasted like they had been cooked in really old oil. Way over priced for the quality. We have gotten delivery from here a few times and each time we've been disappointed. They don't put foil in with the to go boxes, so any fried food (which is most of the menu) arrives soggy. You would think for the price of the food they would figure out a way to preserve it on the go like most restaurants are doing. This restaurant is the best place to get wings in town. People always say that buffalo wild wings is better but I strongly disagree. (Im referencing this wings etc and the buffalo wild wings located on stadium drive) Price -the price for wings is much cheaper than any other place in town and so you can get more wings for less money. I typically spend 10$-16$(including tip) at Wings Etc and that will get me 10-16 wings and some fries. If I go to Buffalo wild wings its typically a 18$-25$ meal after the tip, and that gets me an unknown amount of wings but the sizes state "medium" and "large" along with some fries. In both cases i am completely stuffed by the time i leave The Wings *boneless* -the meat at wings etc. has always tasted the same for me and it is very flavorful and tasty. They have a crispy shell around the meat that makes them taste 100 times better. The meat at buffalo wild wings tastes more raw and natural (due to the fact that they cook their meat less) but also does not taste near as good, they also do not have a crispy outer shell. -the size of the wings is completely different at both places. At wings etc the wings are small and you can finish them in one or two bites, this makes it easy to eat a bunch of them and you get to enjoy more of the sauce because there is more surface area. At buffalo wild wings, the wings are two to three times as big, which sounds good at first but when you have a huge pile of them to eat it starts to seem like a chore instead of something that you actually want to do. As i said before the wings at BWW don't taste as good so that makes it much more difficult to eat a ton of them. *bone-in* -both places are pretty similar i couldn't say that they taste that much different different based strictly on meat, however buffalo wild wings still tastes more undercooked than wings etc. Both are pretty tasty though and obviously they are the size of a normal chicken wing. The Sauce -at wings etc the sauce is focused more on flavor and less focused on trying to burn your mouth off. The medium sauce is pretty universal in the world of wings, and so it is a good place to compare the same sauces and see which one is better. So how do they compare? At wings etc the medium sauce tastes amazing and has a perfect blend of spice and flavor. The buffalo wild wings version tastes much worse and is way too spicy so you can't even taste the good parts of the sauce. This applies to just about every other sauce on the menu as well, buffalo wild wings just does not have as good of sauce. -the amount of sauce at wings etc is much greater, your wings are served with a nice layer of sauce covering them and under them so there is no way you wouldn't have every single bite being as tasty as ever. At buffalo wild wings they put hardly any sauce on your wings and it only goes on the top of the wings which makes it less flavorful and enables you to taste their raw meat more. (Maybe that is a good thing though because their sauce isn't as good anyway) THE SERVICE -this is so important for a restaurant, and wings etc completely destroys buffalo wild wings with their service. Every waitress at wings etc is super nice and makes you feel more like they actually care about your meal and making the experience positive. They are really good with children as well and try really hard to make sure everyone is happy. At buffalo wild wings the staff doesn't seem to care about making a good impression on you, none of the waitresses have been very friendly to me and it seems as if they couldn't give any less sh*ts about my meal! They also suck at refills, my mouth is always burning because of their overly hot sauce and then my waitress doesn't show up to refill my drink for 5 to 10 minutes so I have to just sit there with my mouth burning. That never happens at wings etc because the waitresses are always on top of their game. So those are a few reasons why this particular wings etc is better than the buffalo wild wings on stadium drive. I could keep on going but nobody is going to read this anyway so I don't really see a point. However hopefully somebody enjoys reading this i guess read more
