I've been coming to Wingloon since 2019. I have my ritual of picking up the sweet and sour chicken with the special fried rice and an egg roll right after my climbing session at project rock. The food is delicious and probably my favorite take out Chinese food around. I've been to a few different places near by and none can compete with Wingloon. The customer service is great, the pricing is great, quality is great and they're very quick. I usually go through the drive through and within 10min or less the food is ready. If you decide to eat at the location be aware that it's only outside seating. However it's usually very quiet and peaceful. There's also shade at the seating area so if the sun is beaming or it's raining out you should be covered. read more

This is hands down the best new york style chinese spot I've tried in South Florida! The food here is exactly what you're expecting with new york style chinese food. I ordered the chicken wings plain but they were so so so good and very well seasoned. The ribs were good and the shrimp was way too over breaded. I will not be ordering the shrimp again unfortunately but I will definitely dine here again because the food was made to order, hot, and so tasty! After an hour and a half, we called and it turns out Driver got lost and had no intentions of delivering our food at anytime. i called numerous times and was yelled at that the food was on it's way. by 10:00 pm nothing. Unfortunatley we never ate but lived. Last night i called to order again thinking maybe they got their act together. I was told we were banned?????? I have been in the mood for Bourbon Chicken so I ordered it for lunch & had it delivered. It was the worst food I ever had. The chicken is so hard & dry. I called them because I don't think it's chicken think its more like pork. Co-worker tried it also no one liked it. I do not recommend this at all. They didn't seem to care at all but I can tell you it was not chicken. I'm scared I don't think I will ever order from them again! I want you to know about this experience! I was having a lazy moment--not wanting to get out of my vehicle--so the presence of a drive-thru was the deciding factor to stopping to get dinner. After a slight hiccup figuring out how to enter the drive-thru lane, I placed my order at the window. After some minutes, a young man with a pleasant smile handed me a neatly stapled brown bag package. It had sufficient packets of duck and soy sauces and a bag of crispy wonton strips that I so enjoy in my soup. The wonton soup was tasty with several plump delicious wontons. The Moo Goo Gai Pan's tender pieces of white meat chicken and veggies in creamy light sauce hit the spot. The portion of fried rice is appropriate but not the typical huge amount other restaurants dish out. Outside seating is available at concrete tables and benches under a large covered detached patio next to the southern drive thru lane. Although I have never been inclined to dine on premises, off highly-trafficked Andrews Avenue, that seating area may be convenient for employees and patrons in the adjacent shopping plaza. read more

Their veggie Mei fun has a really good noodle texture, and it was packed with fresh veggies and tons of flavor. Krab Rangoon was crispy and a delightful blend of crab and cream cheese. The chicken wings were well-seasoned. Overall, the Mei Fun and Krab Rangoon was 10/10 but I was not the biggest fan of the rice being that it was crunchy and lacked flavor. They were recently cited and shut down on April 3, 1919 for 16 violations which in part read as follows: "Rodent activity present as evidenced by approximately 20 fresh rodent droppings found in employee restroom, approximately 30 fresh rodent droppings found in dry storage room, 8 fresh rodent droppings found in prep area next to walk in cooler, 6 dry rodent droppings found In food prep area underneath rice cooker and approximately 10 fresh rodent droppings found on floor on cook line." "Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, or food storage area. Observed 4 live flying insects landing on food preparation table in kitchen, approximately 8 live flying insects on wall in dishwashing area and 3 live flying insects nesting on top of microwave at cook line." "Interior of reach-in cooler soiled with accumulation of food residue. Observed interior of True reach in cooler soiled with food residue." "No currently certified food service manager on duty with four or more employees engaged in food preparation/handling." "Potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food left at room temperature to cool. Observed cooked chicken temps at 89 degrees Fahrenheit left at room temperature to cool." As far as their food is concerned, I needn't elaborate on their food choices as they are generally typical of take out or drive through Chinese, but as one might expect, the choices are extensive. The window clerks are exceedingly polite, helpful, cooperative, and whatever you seem to order is nicely prepared and given to you within about five to ten minutes; sometimes less. The portions are large and the prices are budget reasonable. And of what I've had here, rather good in taste and flavor; most recently I had their Singapore Noodles which were good. But when eating them, horror of horrors, I read about the health shutdown. Though I actually enjoyed them and suffered not ill effects, my days of coming here are over with. My initial review was back in 2011 and everything appeared clean, but now things have obviously slipped to such a dangerous degree the health authorities have had to take the drastic action of shutting it down. During a recent visit I was unaware and didn't see any evidence of this problem, but I couldn't really see into the kitchen and will stake my beliefs upon the findings of the health professional. So for endangering their patron's health, a One Star along with my thought that it should be avoided as this should never have been allowed to have happened. read more

It's like this little tiny stand, which kind of reminds of a concession stand on Andrews right next to Crunch Fitness- all Chinese restaurants need to be next to a gym in my humble opinion. Ordering options: 1. Call 2. Pick up window 3. Drive thru I was feeling ultra lazy and did the drive thru. I was in a rush, or at least felt that way when ordering (and this was my first time so I wasn't familiar with the menu) so I quickly pulled their menu up online and ordered. They tell you for drive thru to stay where you are until another car pulls behind you, then if that happens, move your car to the lot and they will somehow (typically waving their hands) that your food is ready. I'd say it took 5-7 minutes to prepare and my lo mein was ready. I had it with shrimp and beef. It came with a side of fried rice which was unnecessary but still I took it. Came with soup and an egg roll. I didn't realize the portioning and I got some crab Rangoon which come in orders of 6 or 10. I pulled away and hurried home so I can feast on hot Chinese food. Wow. The noodles were delicious. Actually, everything was. The portions were huge. Bigger than normal Chinese takeout and I feel like no matter where you order from you get an abundance of food, but here they overload you, which I can't say I'm mad about. The egg roll was gigantic. The soup was a huge bowl with tons of wontons. So much beef and shrimp in the lo mein. I really couldn't ask for anything more. Oh my goodness!!!! Talk about a pleasant surprise!!!! While I was at work my husband ordered some food. He saw the menu for Wingloon and decided to test it out since we are still looking for good Chinese food within our area. Welp.... We've found it!!! My husband ordered a quart of the House Lo Mein and the House Fried Rice, plus a General Tao's Dinner Combination. They upgraded our quart of Lo Mein to a Jumbo and we are now customers for life! Not only was it positively delicious, but we had left overs for 3 days and already want to order more!! The fried rice and the general tao's chicken were equally as good! We are over the moon to have found such an amazing place! I've had wonderful luck with their food being very fresh and tasty. It's almost always solid white meat chicken and very good. It's hard to find good Chinese food in Florida, so I'm glad I found this place. I go here exclusively for Chinese. My husband even likes it and he's extremely picky about Chinese. I decided to finally try Wingloon. I been seeing this restaurant for quite a while now and always thought it was unique to see a Chinese restaurant with a drive thru. I went to the drive thru and I was the only car there. I was actually looking for an actual board up with a list of what they sell but instead they have a menu taped to the window glass. The writing was to small for me to read so I kindly asked them for a menu to look at. The lady that took my order was nice. And the wait for the food to get prepared wasn't that long. I ordered the quart of special fried rice. And she made sure all my soy sauce and duck sauce that I wanted was in the bag. The prices didn't seem to be that expensive either. The rice was okay but definitely wasn't the best. They put way too much green beans in the rice and I wish I knew they add that in their rice because I prefer to not have green beans. I probably wont be back there anytime soon because their are better chinese spots around. But I did like the service and the drive thru system but the food was not the best. read more

Do not eat here!!! Ordered Chinese spare ribs appetizer and the pork dinner. The ribs were strips of rubber dipped in ketchup. The pork chunks in the dinner were so chewy that I could not swallow even one piece - I stopped counting at 50 chews for one piece. I have no idea how they can make meat so tough - it must be a special talent. Don't waste your money. You will lose not only your money but you will still be hungry (cause you cannot eat whatever it is that they serve). By the way, I am really not a picky eater at all. Very accommodating for vegans and very quick, inexpensive delivery in the Oakland Park area. We order online from their website almost weekly and they always honor our comments regarding any substitutions and dietary restrictions, including veggie-fried rice sans egg. After a friend said they paid close to $100 for PF Changs several days before...our $31 was well spent....never had we eaten the fattest and juicest egg rolls ever...their house fried rice...I could roll in naked...huge chunks of shrimp,,,veggies...the happy family was awesome. And I judge a place by their hot and sour soup...if its not good...I don't go back...but Wingloon's hot and sour soup was the best I've ever had and partner had wonton soup with 4 giant stuffed wontons...amazing....next time in WM...I will be back, thank you. read more
