Keep in mind, I am a young woman and was crying in the chair. He did not apologize for the way he spoke at me. I spent over $100 on the consult! and 1 1/2 hours filling out forms, signing releases (before I even saw the pricing or decided on my choice!) His analysis of my case was completely different from the other two surgeons opinions and his pricing came in at over $12,000 plus he wanted further work done (a sinus lift) totaling $14,000~!~~~and the kicker is that the other two Surgeons said it didn't need to be done... Money wise the other 2 Surgeons were at just over $5,000 for the surgery (two implants) !! What a difference. Plus his demeanor and frankly, bad breath, was a total turn off. Using excessive torque to place a…read more computer generated restoration tooth designed for screw placement for an implant, he cracked my jawbone. On another implant site designed again for screw placement only, he additionally used acrylic cement (rated 2nd out of 6 tested for carcinogenicity in one study) also, without informing me in advance of his intention to do so. Since reconstruction teeth are computer generated the excess cement made the fit too tight, pushing one of my front teeth out to its pre braces position--very bucked. Also, Some of the cement migrated to my sinuses and I am still almost a year later dealing with that complication--seriously impeded oxygen intake from that nostril. This dentist is truly dangerous! He has an army of hygienists working for him. One was so brutal that she created cracks on both sides of one tooth--Vixey saying nothing could be done for it except a complete rebuilding of the tooth. Stay clear of this dentist. More destruction than I've ever experienced with a dentist, ever. Oversight of hygienists absent.

After many many months of research and putting it off I finally called Dr. Falvey's office. From start to finish it was the best dental experience I have every had. Everyone was extremely kind, calm and patient, including the receptionist, the hygienist and Dr. Falvey. There was no judgement and lots of listening and understanding of how my phobia developed. Michelle, the hygienist was gentle, regularly checked in with me and told me I could use nitrous if needed. I never actually needed it! Dr. Falvey came up with a treatment plan that incorporated my phobia and changing my pattern of going from deep cleaning to deep cleaning. The receptionist encouraged me on the way in for having made it to the appointment and on the way out for making my next one. The first visit with x-rays was pricey but for me its worth the extra cost to actually go, have a positive experience and avoid more expensive problems later. Follow up visit prices seem pretty in-line with other dentists. If you are fearful of the dentist this is the place for you.
