After many many months of research and putting it off I finally called Dr. Falvey's office. From start to finish it was the best dental experience I have every had. Everyone was extremely kind, calm and patient, including the receptionist, the hygienist and Dr. Falvey. There was no judgement and lots of listening and understanding of how my phobia developed. Michelle, the hygienist was gentle, regularly checked in with me and told me I could use nitrous if needed. I never actually needed it! Dr. Falvey came up with a treatment plan that incorporated my phobia and changing my pattern of going from deep cleaning to deep cleaning. The receptionist encouraged me on the way in for having made it to the appointment and on the way out for making my next one. The first visit with x-rays was pricey but for me its worth the extra cost to actually go, have a positive experience and avoid more expensive problems later. Follow up visit prices seem pretty in-line with other dentists. If you are fearful of the dentist this is the place for you.

He then recommended a deep cleaning ( which I do need) but I was so off put I wasn't going to take any recommendations from this whack job. When I would not agree to anything he insisted and started rubbing my shoulder. Sooooo creepy. Then the hygienist wanted to do the deep cleaned my that day but I declined. Then she reluctantly cleaned my teeth while complaining and barely did anything! Also told me that if I did do the deep cleaning that day it wouldn't have been covered by my insurance. How does this make any sense?! I just went to a different dentist in Auburn and got a quote for the deep cleaning that is over half as much as what Fore for would have charged. These people are a scam and are terrible! Wouldn't recommend to an enemy.

She brought me back into the office at seven at night to load me up with Novacane to last me through the night so I can get some rest. She called me first thing in the morning to make sure I have a good nights sleep . She called me several times in the next couple of days just to ask how I was doing. I was lied to about my treatment plan and have had issues after the braces came off. No follow up care,.... they are money hungry, unprofessional, and don't care about their patients ESPECIALLY after the braces are off. They can't kick you out the door fast enough. I tried to go back to address my issues and Dr. Galante's response was "well maybe you just need jaw surgery" ....really after I spent $5K with you suddenly you think I need jaw surgery? I completed treatment in 2010 NOT 2006 as she states and I have worn my retainers since the braces came off. I told them I missed a night or 2 here and there but when I went in to have her check my retainers she said they fit great? He does not make you comfortable. Then he made me dentures. I had insurance, so I paid out of pocket $3000. I complained about the dentures not fitting, he had me come back, and then I realized what was going on ... every time I went back, I was charged. After about 6 times, when my dentures still didn't fit, I just stopped going.
