Not what I expected when we arrived. I will start off that the food is delicious. But, very pricey. No kids menu for the littles to pick from. My 3 kids didn't care for any of the food. We came a couple years ago and the wings were so good. One wing is all three sections (drumette, wingette, tip). Huge portions. This time we ordered drumsticks and they were oddly dry. Not at all consistent with the wings so we won't be ordering those again. We got the seasoned fries and Mac and cheese for sides. Seasoned fries were fresh but Mac and cheese is just fine. I am appalled at our experience here. First time in. 9:30 on Thursday. Manager is hunched over the expo pass through, FaceTiming with someone. Cashier is apathetic at best. No welcome. No suggestions. No service to speak of. I understand rising food cost and the challenges of restaurant operations in the current environment. But this place is a RIP OFF. Truly, a terrible value. Wings come with sauce. Everywhere. If you're serving JUMBO wings, 2 oz of sauce isn't enough. And .89 for an extra 2 oz ramekin is ridiculous. Oh, except it's not .89. It's .92. Which made me take a closer look at my receipt. Sure enough, the 4 piece listed on the printed menu and the electronic menu for $14.79 is actually $15.31 I went back to the register to inquire about it. The manager informed me that there is an up charge for using your credit card. I looked at the menu again. Nowhere does it say that. The manager told me that no one has explained it to her either but she noticed it started doing that with the new system. Your nickel and diming of the consumer is insulting. FINALLY!! Finally found the wing joint I've been looking for the longest time. So I was in the area and needed to pick up dinner on the way home. I use Yelp to help me find the nearest wing place. Overall: this is legit just like Pluckers, except I have never seen long line here, which is so awesome! Detailed: I always get the tenders when I come here. They are so huge, affordable, and are essentially the same tenders as Pluckers. I never never have had to wait in line here though, versus having to wait an hour or more sometimes at Pluckers if you make the mistake of going over the weekend or on a game day. I always pass this spot on the way to my house and we decided to check it out on a lovely Saturday. I was most intrigued by the reviews and decided to give it a shot. They have some exotic flavors such as the PB&J sauce (not my forte). When I first approached the counter to order, I thought their prices were outrageous. We ordered the 10 pc family meal which included two drinks and one side. Oh my! When they came out, they weren't the dainty sized wings that wingstop supplies. These are actual full sized pieces. In comparison, you could go to Wingstop and order two 10 piece combo, but you get more bang for your buck here! You can pick up to three flavors of wings. Most places only let you choose a maximum of two flavors per 5 increments. The meat was cooked to perfection! It was not overcooked! I love the fact that they offer unlimited drink flavors with their Coca Cola machine. And guess what -- Daiquiris could be purchased as to go! Food was brought out in 5 minutes. I went for a pick up. Called ahead and told me to be there in 20 mins which I did. Got there, paid for it, was told to sit and wait. I waited and waited. And Nothing. I noticed that people lined up in front of me (few people) already got their food and left. These people were ordering there so it was odd that their food came out first since I called in early. I attended an event that they where sampling at and let me tell you, WOW the veggies are incredible! I sampled the greens, creamed corn mach and cheese and boneless wing. I have never had creamed corn and greens that tasted so good. I will be going to the store front for these veggies FOR SURE. can't say how the wings are because they where not being sampled but the menu price of 2.50 each seems steep but I will give them a shot next time I go. The PG is a dry rub--that said I've never had a PG rub or sauce as good as BWWs, and that's still true--this one isn't anywhere close. The Buffalo was a bit better, although a bit buttery for my taste. If I had an entire order of it it would probably make me sick. The fries: eh, they were fine.
