Going with a 3. Not bad, not great. Improvement needed for me to give a 5. Place was packed with families of all ages, groups of teenagers, and groups of college students. 1. No wait. Was told to find an open table. 2. Greeted by waitress that took our drink order and ordered a fried mushroom appetizer. It was ok. Luke warm, maybe sitting under a heat lamp. I know this because my dad owned a similar place for 8 years. It took 6-8 minutes to cook fried mushrooms in 350 degrees grease (if you are not busy). Ranch was delicious! Our mushroom appetizer came out before our drinks did. Very quick!!! Owell!!! We're decent. 3. Wife ordered chicken Philly with a side salad. She said both were very good. Her Philly looked good and would be something that I would order next time. 4. I had 10 wings rolled in hot and a side of fries. Both were very good. 5. I took away a star because the floor was dirty around us. I watched those cleaning tables wipe the paper trash (straw wrappers and napkins) into the floor. No one bus-Ing the tables put any extra effort in making sure that the trash was picked up under the tables or floor. I saw several chicken bones on the floor. Kind of disgusting. 6. My waitress was good. I left here a 25% tip. She had food out to us, checked on us 3-4 times, and kept tea glasses full. 7. Minus a star because I watched two ladies butcher 6 tables. 4 of the tables were college/ high school students. Both were very good behavior, but seemed that the waitresses could care less. Never refilled drinks, never brought ketchup as asked, did not bring boxes to go. Kind of ridiculous!!! Overall...3 stars. Improvement needed in 2 areas! read more

food is great but the staff is rude and disrespectful and the people who where at the table next to mine where very loud and we asked nicely to get them to be quiet but they where still very loud and you couldn't enjoy your meal because they where being very loud but out waitress handled it the best she could so we are thankful for that read more

Wings are wonderful and the price is ok with inflation prices great place great personalities. The floors at bit slippery be careful overall great read more

I've been visiting Wingbonz since their inception and I absolutely love their wings and fried pickles. I've had many dine-in and to go order experiences here and I've never been personally dissatisfied. Is it perfect, absolutely not, but show me any eatery that is. However, if you properly temper your expectations, you will be not be disappointed, as their wings, sides and sauces are pretty darn great. This is a popular eatery for a very good reason. Great wings, sauces and sides, with nice portion sizes and very reasonable prices. What's not to love? read more

Wingbonz - 24kt Gold Wings with French Fries - Sports Bars Near Me - Rock Hill, South Carolina

We placed an online order and it was done pretty quickly 15-20min. We ordered wings extra crispy, tenders, raw fries crispy and fried pickles. All with sauces on the side. I go in to get the order and go to car and check it, raw fries are missing. I go back in and let them know they came right out with one. I get home and the raw fries are half empty, cold, greasy and limp. The fried pickles were cold, hardly any breading on them and soaked with grease. Wings weren't crispy. The only thing that was right were the tenders. We paid extra for ranches and they were all half empty. We weren't given all the wing sauces either. Spent $80 and wasn't worth it at all. read more

Wingbonz - Fried pickles and raw chips - Sports Bars Near Me - Rock Hill, South Carolina

NO SAUCES with Togo food ever. Waste my time, gas, and money to get food delivered with no sauces for the tenders or wings. Who the heck wants food without sauce.... And I pay for delivery to have to drive back to get the dang sauce for the lady/manager who knows to be rude. Stop forgetting stuff in Togo orders pay more attention snf give some decent customer service if someone is upset they have to drive an extra half hour to get back snf eat cold food. Terrible. Go elsewhere to somewhere who cares. It's a shame because their food is actually really good if you can get the sauce with it read more

I used to love coming here - not really sure what changed but the food isn't really great anymore & our server was rushing us. We had to flag her down multiple times for refills & box, she never once checked on us. Both times she walked away while we were in the middle of speaking to her. Also when we were in the middle of ordering, she had her hand out to take our menus while we still needed them. Also, the floor was extremely sticky and slippery. Overall, we just felt really rushed & not taken care of. In fact, a sever that wasn't even ours came over & took over. I hate writing this because I truly used to love this place. I know places are understaffed right now & I definitely have empathy for that, but it was just a lot of bad. read more

I've been coming here since before it was Wingbonz and back when it was the Wing King Cafe in Rock Hill. The wings are always good, I love their cheese fries so much and the raw fries as well. They've got some other great food like the rice bowls and appetizers like their fried pickles and chips with salsa. Sometimes the service can be super slow and I have had times where we've been waiting on our food for more than an hour when it was the weekend lunch time but not super busy at all. That's the only thing that's pretty frustrating. But it was the old hang out spot for my friends and I in high school so I stay loyal and come here for the great wings when some of us are in town and get a chance to catch up. read more

Wingbonz - 6 Tender Honey BBQ Basket - Sports Bars Near Me - Rock Hill, South Carolina

See all

I just need to start off with Wing Bonz is like Waffle House. You don't come here for the service or the cleanliness (or lack thereof). You come just because the food is good. I've been coming here since before it was Wing Bonz. When it was still Wing King. There food is really good and it's pretty consistent. But the service it always absolutely terrible. You see one server to take your drink order, another brings the drinks, another takes food order and someone else brings it. You may see the first server once more to refill your drinks close to when you're done eating but that's about it. Also, do NOT come here if you're in a rush. Even if you order to go. You will be here for an average of two hours. Not to discourage you from coming, just plan to be here for a while and don't be offended by the wait staff. read more

I was disappointed this time around. We ordered take out and the wings and chicken tenders were SOAKED in BBQ sauce to the point of being soggy and unable to eat. My 10 year old loves the chicken tenders but would not eat more than one bite. I'll give it another shot for good measure. Hope for better results. read more

The honey bbq wings were amazing. Could tell the sauce was homemade. Def will be back for a second time if I'm ever in the area read more

Came in on a Sunday night the waiter went out of his way to greet and take our order. Service was truly exceptional and the wings were phenomenal. Thank you for the experience! read more

Noooo so disappointed. 1/2 of the reason I love wing bonz is for their fries (the other half 1/2 is their tenders) & they've switched them. They no longer serve crinkly fries but these boring, tasteless, kinda tough to chew fries. & the waitress didn't even bother to tell me this up front so I was pretty disappointed. I guess raw fries will be the next best thing. read more

Wingbonz - Their new fries. Not good. - Sports Bars Near Me - Rock Hill, South Carolina

I was in Rock Hill for business and asked the front desk of my hotel where would be a good spot 1) for wings and 2) to get the "local" experience. This was the first place mentioned...and I'm happy it was! I'm big on aesthetic when I go places and Wingbonz definitely looked "local" without looking trashy or "near closure":) The food is good, although I wouldn't necessarily put it in the "memorable" category. It's more than worth a trip if you're in town. read more

Wingbonz - This was my FIRST trip there-wings with "Southwest Chipotle" flavor:) It's a dry rub in case you don't want the more "messy" rubs. - Sports Bars Near Me - Rock Hill, South Carolina

This place has the best wings on earth! My whole basketball team loved it and we ended up winning our game after eating by 15!!!

This is THE Rock Hill High School/College go to restaurant. It's a fun seat yourself food joint. It was originally called "Wing King" but had to be changed to "Wing Bonz" due to a competitive food chain, but every native to the city still calls it Wing King. The food is better than decent and everything is roughly $10 or less. I usually get the Chicken Finger basket plain with Cheese Fried (+ $0.65). You can roll your Wings and Fingers in many types of sauces. The service is average and the space is clean. This is a fun place to eat and hang out with large groups or just a couple of people. read more

The food is mediocre at best. They charge you extra for things THEY forget such as not putting enough sauce on wings?? I always have a problem coming here but I don't think I will anymore. The staff is extremely rude and if I could give it a 0 stars I most definitely would. DO NOT COME HERE read more

The food used to be good a few years back. The last two times it was absolutely awful. The wings are chewy, which tells me the chicken is not fresh. I also ordered a chef salad and it was disgusting as well. The lettuce was old and stale, to the point that it was turning brown. The overall quality has really diminished in the last couple of years. I'm done... will not go back. Too pricey and they serve awful, disgusting food. GOODBYE! read more

I ordered a basket of 10 wings & fries on door dash after hearing good things. I got Cajun & garlic Parmesan as my two flavors. None of my wings had any discernible flavor. I could not even tell which wings were supposed to be which. Not only were they flavorless, they were dry. Additionally, I selected fries as my side & even though I did not ask for any, there was melted shredded cheese all over them, causing them to stick together & get soggy. Very disappointed. read more

Wingbonz - Inside - Sports Bars Near Me - Rock Hill, South Carolina

Went to this location to play bingo. We had been to the Fort Mill location many times and it was amazing. The first thing I noticed at this location was that my feet were sticking to the floors throughout the entire restaurant. They stuck my wife and i in a corner in a room by ourselves. (Because we're both female?) There were seats in the main areas where bingo was being played. Apparently, they forgot about us. Service was slow. Server was flighty. Would give zero stars if I could. Would never go back. We want our Fort Mill location back! read more

What happened to this place ?! The menu has changed. The nachos were huge, now they are sad pile of cardboard chips. Any thing extra like beans or pico are extra. Everything is extra. Tonight they closed at 7:30 pm because they didn't have enough food in the kitchen. Truck didn't come or wasn't ordered. Wait staff wasn't sure, but bless them they kept trying. Doubt we'll go back. I don't see the new menu working out for anyone. read more

I was really craving fried mushrooms today and since the Riverview Road location was closed today, I decided to give this location another shot. I got an order of fried mushrooms which were delicious, BUT They charged me six dollars for an order of mushrooms that was less than half the size of a four dollar order of mushrooms from the Wing King and they're just as good. I think they think a little too highly of their mushrooms to put a price like $6.00 on less than 20 mushrooms that's ridiculous. I ate here one time and the food was despicable at best. The wings were so overcooked that I was afraid I would break the crowns on my teeth trying to chew them. On top of them being over cooked, the taste was not very good. The floor was filthy and sticky and you know that violate sanitation laws so if there that slack about their sanitation where you sit and eat it makes me wonder what their kitchen looks like. OK for me it's two strikes you're out! I will not be going back to this location ever again. Customer Service was also still very slack and not real happy to see customers walk in the door as I observed several people that came in around the time that I did and left around the time that I left. read more

Decent food but the quality of the restaurant and its customer service is poor. They should sell their ranch in stores, no wonder they charge extra for an additional sauce. Highly recommend going in between meal times where it's less busy. read more

Just ordered over the phone two honey hot platters. When it was brought home there was only chicken in it. No fries. This is a hole in the wall but the best teriyaki wings Ive ever had. Sometimes on teriyaki wings they get a little chargrill but these wings were perfect an sauce was dripping off them yum. I am a huge pickle fan an they have fried pickles they did not disappoint great batter an we ended up getting another order of the pickles they were so good. Service was great an we were close to the door you should have seen the takeout orders goin out if this place. This place is hit or miss. The service is terrible. I work in the area and use to order until they kept forgetting parts of our order, burning the food or just being rude. Unfortunately, the last few times it has gotten worse. read more

Just not what it used to be. I haven't been here since it was Wing King...and I wish I wasn't comparing it to what it once was...but...I am. The joint wasn't hopping, and it wasn't understaffed, and still, the service was slow and lackluster. The food too. I seriously felt my heart crumble a little as my family used to frequent Wing King. Here was the problem: The portions of the food were considerably less than they were as Wing King. The wings used to be HUGE and now they're too little to fill a 5 year old's belly. Yes, my 6 year old son loves chicken wings. Your sauce? My son and I were swapping wings to determine who's were hotter...we never did figure it out. They tasted different, but you'd think hot and mild wings would be discernible. This location has always been an eyesore and just short of offering actual comfort, but the food was always good enough to keep people coming back. I'm not sure what's going to keep people coming back now. read more

Visit all the time. The food is great. The service not so great. Mostly show up for the bingo on Monday nights. Visited today fell on the extremely slick floor. The staff was very nonchalant about the whole situation. Was not offered any sort of compensation. Only an apology. The manager on duty came to my table only after I gave up on any sort of compassion and only asked for my name so he could get in touch with the owners. Very upset as to thid turn of events. It will take a lot for me to return. Had been going every week for well over 2 years. read more

Two words. NOM NOM! This place is one of my favorites, and is somewhere I take people whenever I get the chance. Service is great, that is all. Their honey hot sauce is not only to die for, it is to kill for. I could put it on chicken, fries, anything. Only thing that kills me is that they charge for extra sauce and ranch... but I'll pay for it. this stuff is great! Also, love the fat chicken decor. it tickles me pink. read more

The customer service is TERRIBLE! Their policy of if you order it you pay for it even if it's not good or not what you thought it was going to be is ridiculous especially since you don't know of this policy until you aren't happy with your food.
