To top off this bad experience, I was just text by the hotel management today. They doubled down on their position explaining that as a responsible pet owner, it was my responsibility to make sure I understood their pet policy and costs. Not their responsibility as the business, to include these costs when book online with number of dogs included, but my responsibility to sort out their scam. You literally can't make it up anymore. The pet fee was $30 per night, per dog. The room fee was $109 per night. For two dogs, that is an ~60% increase in price NOT included on their site when booking with both dogs flagged. Wingate by Wyndham Hotel is a dog friendly hotel that allows up to 2 dogs, 25 pounds, for $20 per night. My husband, our little girl and I stayed at this hotel for one night, while visiting Murfreesboro (which is a city outside of Nashville). We were greeted by an employee behind the counter when we walked in a little after 7 pm. We checked in, got our hotel keys and then eventually settled into our room (after unloading the luggage from our car). There were only 3 long body towels and I wanted at least another long body towel since I wanted to wash my hair (I need one towel for my body and one for my hair and also would like a long towel for the floor for when I step out of the shower). When my husband and I went back to the front desk, asking for more towels, that employee who checked us in said 'Why? You just checked in'. I did feel a bit annoyed and a little surprised that I was questioned why I wanted an additional towel and have never had a employee at the front desk ask me why. But eventually the guy gave us 2 long body towels and then we headed back to our room. The room itself was fine for one night's stay. The bed was comfortable. But the closet was very small and the mini fridge did not have a freezer (for those who may need that). I did like that there were Dove brand body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. But I didn't like that there was a large bottle of lotion right by the sink, as I had initially used it when I first arrived, thinking it was soap. But there is a mini Dove brand bar soap available for washing hands. The shower pressure was poor. The water barely came out when switching the nozzle to high. The breakfast the next morning (served from 6 am- 9 am) was okay. The eggs were most likely frozen and reheated, as they were very watery. There was sausage patties, toast, yogurt, mandarin oranges, milk, coffee, hot water. Check out is at 11 am. But please be aware that housekeeping may knock on your door at 10 am or earlier. Overall, our stay was okay but I don't know if I would stay here again, especially when being asked why I wanted extra towels. But if you are staying one night and don't need extra things, then this place may fit your needs. read more

So, this is an updated review of this hotel. The hotel was nice. It was updated. Clean. Bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy and staff was pleasant. We did not eat the breakfast so I can't review it. The location was good and the price was great. I initially gave a bad review due to miscommunication from the hotel. We left a couple personal items and were told by the staff that housekeeping never found them. He was frustrating and led me to believe that housekeeping had kept our items. What actually happened was the general manager found the items and placed them in their office. The general manager, then went out-of-town for the holiday and the staff did not realize the items were locked in the office. So when I called and talked to the front desk, they were not aware the items had been found. All in all, just a big misunderstanding. The general manager has reached out to me multiple times and repeatedly apologized for the confusion and took 100% responsibility for the miscommunication. read more

Awesome property and room and great staff. Property was clean and no odd smells anywhere to be found. Room was great, bed and pillows awesome, clean bathroom, plentiful parking clean property inside and out. As close to a 10 for an economy priced property I ever stayed in. read more

Oh my where do I begin...the room looks updated but has obviously been cobbled together (lipstick on a pig) if you will. Flooring was not professionally installed, tiles are separated and dangerously close to pinching bare feet. Cracked and poorly patched tub surround in the shower (see picture). No water for part of the day, maid service didn't come until after 2, and a morning desk clerk with a severe attitude problem when I explained my hvac was out in my room. She said (without looking up from her computer screen) "not in my wheelhouse but I'll tell the maintenance guy when he comes in later. Just unplug it from the wall". Some like a firm mattress, but I think Fred Flintstone might have complained about this. The mattress was like a rock. This is not worth $90 per night, you can stay somewhere nicer for that! read more

Incredible hotel. Clean, smells good, rooms are modern and clean. Beds are comfortable. There is even video surveillance in the hallways keeping everyone safe and secure. I was in the area for a work trip and decided to stay here as it was close to everything. Very close to the interstate and plenty of restaurants and shopping minutes away. Hotel was even better in person than the pictures online. The room was very clean and the bathroom was big, everything is very modern throughout. They serve hot breakfast buffet style and it was very good compared to other hotel breakfasts I have had. Decent amount of seating in the lobby area with televisions, overall a very clean hotel and I will certainly come back here in the future. read more

The breakfast was inedible and the coffee was basically coffee flavored water. Housekeeping did not make our beds and the hallways were noisy early in the morning. I'm not sure if it was housekeeping or the guests being loud but either way no one seemed to care and I slept like garbage. read more

If you're looking for a quiet hotel, this is not it. Housekeeping is so loud in the morning. They let the doors slam every time they go in and out of the rooms. They turn the lock, so the doors bang and bounce every time they enter and exit. We asked them to stop, and they didn't. The housekeeper was on her phone, and didn't seem to understand, nor get off the phone. My husband then demonstrated it, but it continued. They were also talking loud. We asked for clean towels around noon, and they told us "if housekeeping is still here", we'll see if we can get some. As far as cleanliness, it's pretty clean. Breakfast was decent. We have family that lives close by, but we won't stay here again. read more

The worst experience, first off the management especially the owner is unprofessional. My daughter who is 11 years old mind you, had an adult male current guest of theirs expose himself on the stairs and the lady at the front desk did what she could and called the owner. The owner didn't even acted concerned in fact he didn't even talk to me. From a safety stand point I highly don't recommend this place. You sir are rude and disrespectful to your guest which you decided to host soccer teams at your facility. If you don't want parents and soccer parents in your lobby at 730 talking because we are "too loud" then don't host tournament teams. I will never be back and will let the tournament themselves know not to utilize you. You have great staff but management is terrible. I suggest you look at your survalience in your stair way or hallways as the most important thing is your guests safety. Disappointed and upset. read more

Thanks to Southwest Airlines meltdown we had a chance to try this place. It's either new or recently remodeled. Very nice and clean. Beds were comfy and pillows fluffy. Lots of breakfast choices. Big lobby / breakfast area. read more

Very clean, comfortable beds, our room was close to an exit. Very roomy and the bathroom was fabulous but very little water pressure. Middle of town by MTSU. Close to about anything you want to eat or drink. Smells good when you walk in and the Sunday morning breakfast was delicious and about anything you could want from on the spot pancake making to eggs and biscuits and gravy. They do need to fix that blinking light at the second entrance hallway but overall a very nice place to stay. read more

Wingate by Wyndham Murfreesboro was a welcome rest after a long day driving. Can't say enough about the staff, to the bed and pillows to the thoughtfulness of the room. It was clean and easy to access from from 24. The only suggestion I have is to talk a Culver's or other ice cream shop into moving nearby?! read more

Dont go there. Refrigerators broken/terrible smell to rooms and worst of all employees at this location engage in predatory towing. Employees call in guest license plate numbers and give them to a towing company. Many autos have been towed illegally from this hotel. Their corporate offices have been notified and an investigation is being sought by individuals through the local police dept. Dont go here unless absolutely necessary. read more

be careful at this place.........i was charged for five extra days when i was not even there. management refuses to refund my credit card the $550.00 extra i was charged. i am also disabled and requested a handicapped room which i did not get. management is vague about who the manager is and will not give contact information to me so that i can once again demand that i get my money credited back to me. staff is rude and there was a huge rat running down the hallway when i wanted to go to the lobby. be careful and do not waste your time even stopping here. read more

I would definitely recommend staying at the Wingate in Murfreesboro Tennessee. I stayed here for a week with my dog when I started my new job and I was waiting for my new house to be open for me to move into. I had to make my reservation for the Wingate on the fly when I came into town and the hotel I booked for the week, turned out to be a Motel... that wasn't safe for me my things or my dog. I called the Wingate and spoke with Mary and she was very kind and helpful and was very happy to help me. She gave me the best rate she could for the week. I said in a king suite which they gave me for the same rate as a double queen room, and it worked great for my situation. It was clean and comfortable and modern, and they took care of me and kept my dog and things safe while I had to go to work and do things to prepare for my move. read more
