The food always tastes fresh and high quality, and the seasoning is on point. The sauces match the dishes perfectly, so every meal feels intentional and well-balanced. My current obsession is the salmon hibachi with fried rice, broccoli, and spicy mayo, it's so good! Their salmon dishes in general are my absolute favorites. They also have an amazing variety of healthy snacks and drinks. This is literally the only store where I can consistently find my favorite Celsius flavor (dragonfruit!), and they stay stocked with Puff Bar flavors I can't find anywhere else. The employees are always nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, which just adds to the whole experience. Four of us tried this together, and we instantly noticed the plastic taste on everything. You can smell it. It's in almost every bite. It's disgusting. There's something clearly wrong with this food. But let's start from the top. Every item you receive comes shrink wrapped in plastic, albeit a significant portion of our items had lost their seal and were filled with air by the time they arrived. A lot of our items seemed crunched. The writing on the packages in the pictures is ours because most items came unlabeled. It seems so amateur. And in some senses bizarre. It's almost as if everything was packaged by a two man shop out of someone's basement. A plastic-wrap package with a single layer of less than 10 green beans? Who would buy that? Sauce shrink wrapped in a to-go sauce cup as if it were from a restaurant... except it came with no lid so it was splattered everywhere. It's just strange. The portions are small, but it's very expensive. As you can see in our bill (check pictures), we spent $250. Shipping was an appalling $27. (Why on earth does it cost this much?!). One of my friends described the quantity of the food for the cost as "highway robbery." It seems like a rip off before you taste it, and it only gets worse from there. We heated up the broccoli and brussels sprouts in the wok, and we heated the rice on the stove as well. We first tried the broccoli, then the Blbrussels sprouts. All of us instantly noticed a plastic taste on the food--first bite. It was so bad it was hard to believe. We each went in for a second bite, and yep, confirmed--plastic taste again. Observations ranged from "I think this is probably bad for us" to "the vegetables taste like they were soaked in salt water." Next up was the steak. An extremely sub par cut of meat. Small, chuck meat sizes of beef. Tough. Chewy. Barely seasoned. Not yum. Not remotely worth the money. Next we tried the yucca fries l. This was the only item we tried that didn't taste strongly of chemicals. That said, it was dry and unseasoned. Flecks of black pepper husks were the only semblance of seasoning. Would not eat again. Lastly, we dug into the almond flour blueberry muffins. One bite evokes the feeling of eating a handful of Saltines without any water. They were so dry. (I soaked the pieces I ate in almond milk to help aid swallowing them). This was probably the only dish that all of us enjoyed the flavor of. If you take anything away from this review, it should be not to buy this food. Save yourself the disappointment. This was definitely one lesson learned.

My client is diabetic so ordering and reordering is easy thanks to this. There is a fair range of selections of entrees in the way of protein and vegetable sides. The meal portions are maybe slightly bigger than a lean cuisine so it may not be for everyone as those portions can be a bit meager. I had one of the meals that my client didn't want - pork tenderloin, carrots, and string beans. I heated it in the oven as recommended and the pork was not bad, nor were the beans. They went a bit heavy on the carrots though. This is only one meal of many however and my client overall has a favorable opinion of them, his favorite being the "American glazed meatloaf" Top Chef has come through in a big way for me with delivering about 2 weeks worth of meals for my client that come about three days after ordering it (If it isn't before the weekend). Last Saturday, we decided to do one final holiday outing with our little - a light show. She been…read moreloving the decorations and Christmas lights she saw in our neighborhood or when driving around, so I thought this would a great family outing to close our the holiday season. If heard of Shady Brooks light show and has never been myself - neither had my boyfriend - so it was the first time for all of us. We paid in advance online and there was luckily a discount so we only paid $25 per car instead of the original listed price of $45 per vehicle. It's was about a 40 minute drive for us coming from the city and we luckily didn't have any traffic on our way there or back. When turning into their site, they had signs to direct you to the lanes/area to drive through the light show. Once we got to that area, we drove up to the booth so they can scan our ticket, handed us a newspaper/booklet to go with it, and we were on our way! The light displays, concepts and sections (e.g. "12 Days of Christmas" with 12 displays of drummers drumming) were very well done. Our little one loveeeeedd it - except for the Grinch of course because, he's the Grinch lol. It wasn't a short drive through but not too long either. Once we finished the light show, we did park and got out to take a quick look at what else was going on and get a lay of the land. Would definitely recommend checking this out for the holidays and we would come back to check out the playground for her, wagon rides, etc.
