Our 2nd time (3/12/26), not even close to the experience we had previously. There were bones in the chicken on the loaded chicken fries. A lot of the chicken was hard to chew. The spicy chicken cheesesteak was barely recognizable. Definitely disappointing when we originally really liked the place. So I guess it's hit or miss.

We waited nearly an hour for half of a Philly cheesesteak and some chicken wings before finally requesting a refund and leaving. While we were there, almost no food came out of the kitchen, and nearly every table was just waiting. The restaurant itself also felt dirty. The music and atmosphere were nice, but that wasn't enough to make up for the experience. I tried to offer constructive feedback while getting my refund, but it didn't seem like management was interested in improving the customer experience. I was told everything is "made to order," as if that alone justified the excessive wait. I don't buy that. Good leadership and an efficient kitchen can produce fresh food without making customers wait an hour for basic street food. Unless you have a lot of time to spare, I'd recommend going somewhere else. I genuinely hope they make some changes because the place has potential. 1 Table With Food...barely - no lies in my review. Instead of trying to discourage an honest review, improve your business and efficiency of it. Had to add pics since they're playing victim on Facebook. The menu is small and focused on homestyle comfort food, which I actually prefer over a menu with 87 random options. They also had a whiteboard of cocktails, all priced at $10. I ordered a margarita, and it was not the best or the worst. It was a little too sweet for me. I like mine tangier and more tequila-forward, but it was drinkable. The food was amazing overall. I ordered the greens, yams, and lemon pepper penne pasta with chicken. Greens: 4/5 Great flavor with a little kick. My only complaint was the number of stems. Lemon pepper penne: 3/5 The lemon pepper flavor was a little too subtle for me. It tasted more like Alfredo, and the sauce was thinner and more watery than I prefer. Yams: 5/5 The star of the show. Sweet, flavorful, and the consistency was perfect. Everybody at the table ended up ordering their own yams because nobody wanted to share. Of course, I also sampled everybody else's food. Mac and cheese: 5/5 Cheesy, creamy, flavorful, and served piping hot. No complaints. Creamy penne pasta: 5/5 I honestly wish I had ordered this instead. The house-made cream sauce with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan was so good. They ran out of chicken breast for my order, but the way they handled it was above and beyond. They comped me and made me an entire meal to take home. That is what customer service is supposed to look like. The restaurant is quaint, so I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekend. I had to email to reserve because I did not get an answer when I called. The space could use a little sprucing up, but the food and service easily outweigh the lack of decor. The owners were incredibly sweet, the food was made with care, and I will absolutely be back.
