Once we got home to them, my mother immediately noticed onions in the mix. I called the restaurant immediately and let them know about the situation. I was told that the only way for me to get a refund is to bring the order back and there would be no replacement. I was informed that all the crawfish are boiled with onions, which the cashier told us differently, and that there would be no way to make an order without onions being introduced. My only problem (not really a problem) is a tip jar on the counter. They take your order, look at you for a tip. The manager shouldn't allow it and the OWNER needs to give them a raise, not-guilt pass the buck. (Pun intended) I say that because for restaurant service, you sit yourself, fix/refill your own drink, pick up your own food at the counter, clean off your own table, etc.. Taking an order doesn't constitute a pay raise. My hourly rate is what it is no matter who I help. ‍
