I'm really getting sick of reading Tom 's emails, text, and yelp messages of how much he prides himself on his reputation and integrity. I ask, would someone with integrity post on his Facebook business page that the group I set up bailed on him and shrug it off by saying that it's all good. This is the type of business that only looks out for their own best interest. For example claiming they will take you off the beaten path when they can't even get you out of the parking lot. And then get frustrated that we didn't deal with it. I'm sorry but who would feel comfortable to trust a tour in which you're going to pay a premium price for that doesn't start off smoothly. The whole point is he did not handle the situation properly. He offered unreasonable solutions and left us on our own when we didn't continue on his tour. I have to say I was stunned by all of this since I created a relationship with Tom when I set up the tour with him in advance. He showed no sympathy for the situation he put us in or offer any support as a courtesy for the rest of our day in Temecula that he knows so much about. Tom is the best! This was my first time wine tasting and I am glad Tom was the one showing us around Temecula. He pretty much knew every server and owner of the wineries around. A few weeks ago, my mother-in-law and I booked a tour with Wineormous. It was very last minute yet Tom Plant was very accommodating. He's very knowledgeable of the area and all the vineyards which made our tour a real treat! We were even able to meet one of the vineyard owners at Hart Vineyards because of Tom. For an additional $15, Tom will make a lunch for you. Cheese (smoked Gouda no less) & crackers, fruit, chips and homemade sandwiches which were wonderful! (Did I mention Tom is also a chef?) He also had water bottles for when you need a break from the wine, which you will at some point :) The price was reasonable and I liked doing the tour in his passenger van instead of a smaller vehicle. Everyone had their own AC vents and it was easy to get in and out. Whole tour was about 4 hours which was perfect. We booked Tom for our trip to Temecula. We wanted to go on a nice wine tour but didn't want to spend an outrageous amount of money. We set up our trip through email and he was very friendly. He picked us up at our hotel (which was great so we didn't have to worry about driving after all the tastings!). We went to several wineries, getting interesting stories from Tom. Had the pleasure of meeting Tom over the 4th of July weekend for my wife's birthday. I must say we had an awesome time. Our first stop was at a small winery where obviously Tom knew the staff. In our drive to the winery, Tom asked what type(s) of wine I/we enjoy. While doing the tasting Tom asked him if he had any of it bottled which I could try (which he didn't).
