Highly recommend spending an afternoon or evening sitting at the bar at wine on high and enjoying a glass of the wine. It was a busy day but the service was great, and the wine was delicious. The margarita wasn't the best but it was wine bar so I understand. If you are hungry, the Mac and cheese is absolutely delicious!!! I will be back for it.

This wine location was alright. I am a monthly Cooper's Hawk wine member and you will get very different vibes between the two. I do not enjoy very much going to the Short North with all of the safety issues anymore, and as you know parking is never easy here as a young, single girl. It was very cute inside, although small and very loud. The wine event was fun, but probably will not be back much. I really enjoy a much more quieter environment. There was points throughout the night where customers were just absolutely screaming over each other and my throat hurt when I got home from yelling so much all night for my friends to hear me.

What a lovely spot! Have walked by this place dozens of times but didn't realize it was a full service bar that serves food from next door at Hubbard. Loved our stop in on a rainy Friday night. In addition to the retail shop, they have wine flights, full glass pours and cocktails. It is not the biggest selection of retail but they have some nice bottles that we've tried from the west coast. Really friendly service from the bartender who surprised me with her favorite dry red right now which was a cotes du rhone. It was so good that I had a couple more glasses and took a bottle home. It was a good value at $22 for the bottle. This was the stop before dinner so we didn't entrees but did get the olives and the fries... both were great choices and the perfect appetizer. The fries are so good... potato-ey yet crispy. I'll definitely be back. This is a great place to drink even in the day. The space is so open and airy and bright with the tall windows. They have a great happy hour (that we unfortunately missed by a few minutes) but on weekdays until 6 pm there are $6 house wine pours, $7 select cocktails, and $2 off food! Good deal! When I went there was also a local flower business set up right at the front door (Flower Day-ze). Hope she comes back... loved picking the flowers for her to arrange a bouquet while drinking wine. Great combo.

Super cute hidden gem in CBUS! We came here for their event with Penn & Beech for their "lights & flights" Collab! All the wine we tried was delicious and the 2 guys working were very friendly and held conversations with everyone at the bar! Will definitely come back here and grab a bottle of wine for at home!

Kind of disappointed tonight an hour prior to close and it was bottles only to go. Nice looking place friendly folks working there - well appointed decor but if your hours are listed as close at 11pm that's 11pm in my book.

Chic atmosphere and attentive staff! A nice wine selection (affordable to moderate bottles), as well as craft cocktails for non-wine drinkers! I hosted a birthday party in the loft space, which was clean, had a balanced mix of tables/chairs plus standing room, and allowed for personalized decor. The team assisting me in planning the event was very responsive and organized. Hubbard Grille catered, and the food was delicious - lots of options for appetizers and small bites. Wine of High feels much more sophisticated than most of the other bars on High Street. Looking forward to my next visit!

I love this place! Great location, service, food, and vibes! I feel like there aren't a ton of good wine bars in Columbus so definitely very happy w this one!

A wine bar in Columbus what a great idea. Tell you what this was the place to visit for us during the Arnold Classic, while all the bars were slammed this place was a nice break. A few pairings of wine with some wonderfully delicious chocolates, mmmmm, mmmmm yummy.

I stopped into Wine in High and met the sweetest guy Conner. Immediately when I walked in he noticed me and welcomed me into the store. He followed with asking if I was looking for anything in particular which I said no because it was my first time in. I was stopping by while waiting my family to finish up dinner across the street. He gave me a warm welcome as we chatted about wine, my visiting Ohio and some great options as I began looking at the beautiful bottles. I then noticed a bottle that had a white glass rose on the top and pink bubbly inside. The bottle itself intrigued me because it looked like a bottle of perfume. I asked if it was a good flavor, as I'm more of a dry wine girl. He said it was not dry but certainly sweeter. I looked around more but of course my heart was set in the Rose bottle. So that's what I went with as my birthday gift to myself. The store was filled with a variety of wine and champagne and I love the champagne wall inside. You can also sit at the bar and enjoy great conversations with Conner or watch a little TV while you enjoy your beverage.

Now I will be honest, I always thought it was an extension of Hubbard Grill that's next door so that's my fault.

The ambiance was such a cute vibe -- cozy, stylish, and perfect for a downtown dinner date or girls night out. I sat at the bar and the service was amazing from the moment I walked in. My server was prompt, attentive, and made sure everything came out quickly since I was headed to a show nearby. The food was super fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the focaccia bread, sausage ragu, and potatoes, and every single item hit. The focaccia was warm and soft with the perfect olive oil dip, the sausage ragu was rich and flavorful, and those potatoes were crispy, cheesy, and addicting. If you're going to an event at The Citizens Trust, this is honestly such a great dinner spot because it's so close to the venue. Definitely adding this place to my downtown Columbus favorites.

The space is very bright and airy: loved the floral and plant vibes. Our server was kind but maybe a bit apprehensive because we brought our two daughters. Sometimes I feel bad bringing kids but honestly we deserve to have good food even if there are little mouths involved. We had the focaccia starter and it was as pillowy and sumptuous as it looked. Next was broccolini which our 8 month old devoured. I tried the funghi pasta and my husband had the sausage ragu. Both had generous portions. The kitchen made butter noodles for our daughter and she LOVED them. I was pleased they didn't try to doll them up because she really did just want noodles and butter. Finally, the octopus was sooo tasty. The sauce was super flavorful and I love a good bean addition. Delicious meal all around.

The server did a GREAT job explaining how the menu worked (you can order the chefs tasting menu or DIY your own) and what everything was. I got the tasting menu which was chilled Cajun tuna ragout, Louisiana crayfish etoufee tart, roasted andouille sausage stuffed duck breast, and crepe Suzette. My boyfriend ordered the bread basket with imported cheeses, pan seared wagyu, seaweed crusted baby lamb chops, and creme brûlée. We split everything and this ended up being perfect because we could be adventurous with the chefs tasting menu and also had some amazing staples! The standouts to me were the chilled tuna ragout, pan seared wagyu, and creme brûlée! One of the BEST steaks and creme brûlée I have had... highly recommend! In addition to the amazing food, it is also in a beautiful old church and the staff is very knowledgeable on the history of the building! Everyone is super attentive, knowledgeable and just makes the whole experience feel really special, which is exactly what you want for something like a birthday dinner. REVIEW BY Avila.Eats on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube…read more Service: waitress was excellent and incredible friendly. Thank you Linda for a phenomenal dining experience. Waters were always full and the recommendations were like no other. Ambiance/Atmosphere: inside is a stunning old school bar and dimly lit steakhouse. Truly elegant and beautiful. This is a lovely date night and a special occasion is a must here. Food: 1. Tuna tartare is light and fresh. The tuna is soft and delicate. The avacado is creamy and adds a richness. The sauce is tangy but packed full of umami. Rice chips are light and salty I'd recommend. 7.5 2. Burratta is on crispy toast. The burratta is creamy and smooth. The jam adds a sweetness and the hot honey adds a beautiful spice. The pistachios add a crunch and flavor. I'd recommend. 8 3. Truffle tots aren't all that crispy. But soft and well seasoned. The Parmesan adds a salty nutty flavor. The truffle sauce is rich and creamy with a beautiful truffle flavor that isn't overly done. If they were crispy it would be a 10. I'd insist. 9.5 4. Bread service is alright. The sourdough isn't all that strong with flavor. 4 the chip thing is crunchy with an interesting flavor. Not my personally favorite. 3. The butter is very well whipped and smooth. The butter is really good. Butter makes it 5. Wagyu ribeye is incredible tender. Melts like butter and the tallow butter on top adds an extra layer of richness. It's well seasoned and very lightly as it doesn't need a lot. The beef does all the talking. It touches your tongue and melts away. I'd insist. 10. Dipping the ribeye in the truffle sauce from the tater tots adds an even richer flavor and Creaminess. It's very rich but worth awhile if you enjoy strong flavors 6. Onion strings are soft in a well seasoned and flavored onion strings. Best onion strings I've had although I haven't had many. Very good combo adding the sweetness of the batter with the rich buttery Wagyu 7. NY strip is tender but overly salted. You just taste salt. I wouldn't recommend. 3.5 8. The contender was strong with tequila but pushed the chocolatey coffee flavor strong. The bitter sweetness matched pleasantly for a nice sippable drink during drinner. I'd recommend. 9. Chocolate mousse light and refreshing. Decadent and smooth with. Rich chocolate flavor. Chilled like ice cream and not to sweet. I'd highly recommend. 8.5 10. Key lime pie is custardy and smooth. Rich and creamy. The lime flavor is prominent but not over done. The gram cracker crust is crispy but chewy. Buttery and slightly sweet. Best key lime pie I've ever had. I'd insist 10
