When we got there, we were greeted and got set up immediately. We were given protective pants that covered your shoes and a protective top that had a hood. There was also glasses, gloves, and hair ties available, so if you're afraid of getting dirty, DONT BE! The spinning itself is very simple and to the point! Mix your colors, place them on the canvas, and spin! The hardest thing is coming up with a cool design, but we were able to get it right with our second canvas. At the end, we had the option of taking our wet canvas to go in a pizza box, using their dryer for an extra charge or leaving it until we were ready to pick up. This was really fun, and I would definitely do it again!

There were so many beautiful and creative works of art in the gallery. I enjoyed the opportunity to view them. I felt welcomed to look around, although I did not intend to purchase art. It does seem to be part of the Triangle Cultural & Art model to welcome all, even those who may be unable to purchase original art. I discovered that there are installment options if there is a piece I was drawn to and wanted to purchase. I didn't see anything that truly spoke to any spaces I could fill with Art. I did purchase an Art Card and unique handcrafted earrings. I think you should see the Gallery yourself. Go take look around, thank me later.

My co-workers and I were charged $40 a piece for an Advertisement for a Sip-n-Paint, which included…read morebeverages and snacks. This place was over priced for the experience. There were no snacks and the owners stated that this was due to Covid. When I asked what they served prior to Covid, the Owner said chips and pretzels. They served cheap wine in a plastic cup, deer park water, and a few can drinks. My co-workers stated that the wine was horrible. The owners stated that we could only have 1 small portion of wine so that we could remain focused on our work. They also stated if you brought your own bottle in, you could only have a small portion, which ended up being less than half a cup. Our group felt rushed as the Owner kept reminding us of our time. Before we started painting the owner stated that they needed to change the music to more fast paced music so that we could end on time. Stencils were used and the Facilitator of the class didn't even paint along with us to provide direction. The one painting that he had up looked like another inexperienced customer painted it and that's what they used as a guide. They used paper plates to put our paint on. Usually at more quality events, small plastic painters pallets are used. The energy was off as soon as we walked in, but they posted the event on Eventbrite and we could not get our money refunded. I'm not even sure if these people know much about art. The only direction that was given during the class was letting you know what colors to mix and how to hold 1 brush. Trust me...don't waste your time!!! This place is cheap and that is the experience that you will get for $40. Be blessed!

I joined a party with about 12 people total; Eleatta had the canvasses and paints all set up (with some wine and sweets, too!); she took a painting she had already created and broke it down into manageable steps. My wife and I recently visited Times Up! and we had a really good time…read more Most of the rooms at Times Up! required 4 or more participants, and since it was just the two of us, our only choice was the Room 555 escape room. Overall, I thought the room was a lot of fun. The moderator was nice, and the room had some good puzzles. My only complaints would be: 1) The text-to-speech computer program used to present the story and clues was a little awkward and clunky, and it definitely made it harder to immerse myself in the scenario. It'd be significantly better if a real person was reading the dialogue. Also, it felt like the background story could have been more interesting, although the clues were fun to figure out. 2) One of the clues was meant to be locked and they left it unlocked, so the moderator had to come in during the scenario and re-lock it for us. Not a big deal, but it did disrupt the event a bit. Overall, I liked Times Up! and would definitely come back.
