I felt like awkward cattle. Shite experience all around. Tried this company's Homewood location, and it was more of the same. Greeted by a rude security guard, who told me I had to wait outside in the cold despite plenty of room inside. No types of flower available for rec customers on this day... (dozens of types for those with a medical card). The people who work at the shops are clearly annoyed by the influx of business since Rec was legalized Jan 1, and they will let u know. It's appears quite nice if u have a medical card. But Illinois is still working out a lot of kinks at the rec level. read more

Wow, never thought the day would come, but here it is. I can finally walk into a shop in Illinois and buy legal marijuana products. I was here on Legalize Day, and only waited for 2.5hrs, and I was only in the shop for 10-15min. While we waited in line they were giving out free coffee, posters, and Chicago style hot dogs. Then once I made a purchase I received a free knit hat with the Chicago colors and Windy City Cannabis logo on it. The shop and experience are very nice, but I did take away a star for the limited selection. I know this is probably not their fault, but it still affects me as a customer. The staff was friendly and super helpful on making choices. Sadly, the menu is still pretty limited. Where are the strain variety's? Where are the edible varieties? I'm sure there is legal roadblock there, but hopefully that will change soon. Otherwise, I will probably still keep getting my medicine the old fashioned way. read more

The selection and service at Windy City Cannabis is the worst I have ever encountered. I have ordered medical and recreational marijuana in multiple states, and this is the crown jewel of negative experiences. Medical patient: Went yesterday hour before they closed, was told online orders only and not accepting orders the rest of the day. Ok fine, so today I placed my order online 4 hours before close 2pm , to be picked up at 5. I didn't even take the soonest time as a courtesy. I drive 30 minutes there after receiving a text confirming my order was ready for pick up, met by the rudest security guard who tells me the line cuts off right before you. Your online order is no good, and the text message was automated and they're not planning on doing anything to fix it. Thanks for wasting my time. I went to Windy City dispensary yesterday, for the first time. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best day with the news of the impending shutdown & the recent implementation of curbside service but when I turned onto their street I was immediately greeted by security who told me upfront, that the wait was about 2 hrs. I decided to go home and try again today. What a difference! I was again immediately greeted at my car upon pulling up & was instructed to pull into a Med. patient parking spot. A dispensary rep immediately came out and took my identification. After serving the two cars that were there before me, I was giving my total, paid and my order was brought out to me. Prices are a bit high, but you are paying for quality, regulated, and consistently good products. THC and CBD levels are listed on each item. If you're paying a ton, it's likely because you are paying a ton in taxes which they have no control over. I would recommend seeking your medical card. Medical use customers are waived that tax. I think this place is fabulous! I order online, and do curbside pickup. Everyone there is super happy and friendly. They are very covid conscience, and have good security. All products I've tried have been superb. It's important to educate yourself about the product you intend to purchase, to match which ailment you're trying to remedy. Indica and sativa work differently, as CBD works differently too. Dosages are also important to research. This is a great alternative medication to big pharm and I highly recommend becoming a customer. I understand your friend down the street can get it for half the price, but where did it come from? To whom may this concern I recently purchased natures grace and wellness sour banana sherbet shake, Came home opened the container first email I got was pine Ammonia smell. Today, I went to the Windy City Worth dispensary, hoping to be a part of the celebration of legalized cannabis at a local place with happy people! Well man, oh man, was I wrong. I got there a little later than originally planned, and saw a pretty good size line, with some people visibly upset. Walking to the end I noticed why: there were medical patients in line with the recreational. Literally men and women with wheelchairs, canes and walkers all standing out in the freezing cold for multiple hours at Windy City Cannabis Worth. The state of Illinois said medicinal patients didn't have to succumb to the madness that is recreational legalization. I think it's cruel and unfair to create problems for people to get their medicine, especially when state legislature has already dictated the ways to treat MEDICINAL PATIENTS. Look, if that was my papa outside in the cold, hobbling up to a counter he was supposed to be able to just walk up to I'd be furious. I can see a lack of business for Windy City in the future since they want to treat cancer patients like a recreational smoker. What a shame. read more

Absolutely wonderful. I had never smoked marijuana before, and now with MS and spasms, I was referred for the Illinois MedicalCannabis card. The folks at the dispensary are very friendly and very knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable going there and have received tremendous relief of my spasms and pain. Prices too high. Never have any specials for loyal customers. The vibes are cringeworthy. You feel like you're doing something illegal even within their facility. Lack of communication with curbside pick up, you can order something and it be out of stock when you get there. You will not be compensated for their mistakes and your time. They need art on their building, or something other than bland walls & the inside will make you feel depressed. There are plenty of places to buy your medicine from. I will be checking them out. Or a new location at least. This ain't it if you want to leave your dispensary with an experience. Nothing but love though windy. Just not the worth location. Can't park here, can't park there....and lines out the fucking door every time. Four times in the past month I've come there and haven't been able to go in because of all this. Not freezing my ass standing outside to get in and there's basically no parking even if you could just walk in. Ran after me outside as I walked to my car after purchasing product to tell me I wasn't "allowed" to use the bathroom because I had already purchased product. Really? Because none of the employees working there mentioned anything to me and they actually led me to the restroom with my bag in hand. So I let him know that I was unaware of that rule and that he needed to let his staff know that those were the rules because they seemed to be clueless to that rule as well. Then he cut me off and said if I wanted to continue to visit their location those were the rules. I can only assume that because I am a woman and a different race than him, I presented a problem for him and he thought he could intimidate me. I will NEVER return to this place.
