Wow, never thought the day would come, but here it is. I can finally walk into a shop in Illinois and buy legal marijuana products. I was here on Legalize Day, and only waited for 2.5hrs, and I was only in the shop for 10-15min. While we waited in line they were giving out free coffee, posters, and Chicago style hot dogs. Then once I made a purchase I received a free knit hat with the Chicago colors and Windy City Cannabis logo on it. The shop and experience are very nice, but I did take away a star for the limited selection. I know this is probably not their fault, but it still affects me as a customer. The staff was friendly and super helpful on making choices. Sadly, the menu is still pretty limited. Where are the strain variety's? Where are the edible varieties? I'm sure there is legal roadblock there, but hopefully that will change soon. Otherwise, I will probably still keep getting my medicine the old fashioned way. read more

They are pooping on the faces of rec customers and over-charging them for the privilege. Medical menu 32 types of flower Rec menu 1 type ($50-$60 for 3.5 grams) Budtender told me I was lucky they had any flower at all available for rec. Once inside, u stand in a line facing a wall (?) I felt like awkward cattle. Shite experience all around. Tried this company's Homewood location, and it was more of the same. Greeted by a rude security guard, who told me I had to wait outside in the cold despite plenty of room inside. No types of flower available for rec customers on this day... (dozens of types for those with a medical card). The people who work at the shops are clearly annoyed by the influx of business since Rec was legalized Jan 1, and they will let u know. It's appears quite nice if u have a medical card. But Illinois is still working out a lot of kinks at the rec level. read more

The selection and service at Windy City Cannabis is the worst I have ever encountered. I have ordered medical and recreational marijuana in multiple states, and this is the crown jewel of negative experiences. I hope John Taffer creates a spin off show called "Dispensary rescue" and comes here first. I would rather go back to sitting In some sketchy dealers apartment, listening to his new mixtape, while he measures out an 1/8th of shitty shake than buy from this place again. read more

Don't get me wrong the people are really nice. But it's way to much damn talking at the counter. Stop holding conversations with the customers. It's a line remember, we do have places to be. I think the staff should keep it down to a minimum on the conversation and get the customers in and out. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. DO NOT believe what their website says is available to recreational users. I checked, was there 15 minutes later, and turned away at the door. This place is a joke. If you're a medical patient, try Greenhouse in Mokena. They've got a way nicer waiting room and they don't act like their customers are some sort of burden. You don't know what your're missing. Windy City Sucks. read more

Easy to order online and easy pick up in store!! Workers are nice and knowledgeable. Security is hit or miss. Some can be cool and friendly and others (older African American woman) are rude and mad at the world. read more

Medical patient: Went yesterday hour before they closed, was told online orders only and not accepting orders the rest of the day. Ok fine, so today I placed my order online 4 hours before close 2pm , to be picked up at 5. I didn't even take the soonest time as a courtesy. I drive 30 minutes there after receiving a text confirming my order was ready for pick up, met by the rudest security guard who tells me the line cuts off right before you. Your online order is no good, and the text message was automated and they're not planning on doing anything to fix it. Thanks for wasting my time. Extremely poorly ran business, employees are probably too stoned. read more

Never flower for rec. It's been over a two weeks.... nothing but edibles, Vape. If you get to visit Michigan go to one there, they do it right! You actually can interact, with people and look at different products.... They already always always have flower. The greenhouse walled lake, MI! read more

My wife and I waited 1hr and 30 min ... purchased $130 worth of products ( mainly grassroots ) got taxed about $40 ... then get home and disposable cart was empty ..called shop and they said to contact grassroots ... well it's been like 2 weeks still no refund or replacement from dispensary... do not buy grassroots from this dispensary... Windy City could have atleast replaced to the disposable cart ... never going back there again... waste of money ... I'll stick with the street shit ... I give this place 2 thumbs down read more

I went to Windy City dispensary yesterday, for the first time. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best day with the news of the impending shutdown & the recent implementation of curbside service but when I turned onto their street I was immediately greeted by security who told me upfront, that the wait was about 2 hrs. I decided to go home and try again today. What a difference! I was again immediately greeted at my car upon pulling up & was instructed to pull into a Med. patient parking spot. A dispensary rep immediately came out and took my identification. After serving the two cars that were there before me, I was giving my total, paid and my order was brought out to me. I was on my way home after just 15 mins! Excellent job Windy City!! You have a new customer. read more

Prices are a bit high, but you are paying for quality, regulated, and consistently good products. THC and CBD levels are listed on each item. If you're paying a ton, it's likely because you are paying a ton in taxes which they have no control over. I would recommend seeking your medical card. Medical use customers are waived that tax. I think this place is fabulous! I order online, and do curbside pickup. Everyone there is super happy and friendly. They are very covid conscience, and have good security. All products I've tried have been superb. It's important to educate yourself about the product you intend to purchase, to match which ailment you're trying to remedy. Indica and sativa work differently, as CBD works differently too. Dosages are also important to research. This is a great alternative medication to big pharm and I highly recommend becoming a customer. I understand your friend down the street can get it for half the price, but where did it come from? Where was it made? Most likely in a teenagers basement, in unsanitary conditions using a refurbished vapBe smart and buy only what you are confident putting in your body. read more

Well they made a point to send me too the register That you still can't get a receipt. So no improvement here. Rude the convenience just ain't Worth it read more

To whom may this concern I recently purchased natures grace and wellness sour banana sherbet shake, Came home opened the container first email I got was pine Ammonia smell. Product looked a little Humid, So I left the container top open for a hour to dry out . OK now when I smoked my first bowl It hit me like a ton of bricks . The first 15 minutes of the high Was a roller coaster for me effects consisted of erratic heartbeat , Anxiety, Paranoia, discombobulated ,Confusion And a massive headache . Second bowl I packed was half the amount of the first bowl. Thinking maybe I might've just took too much the first time . So again same affects as a first time . Next I pulled out my 60x -120x pocket microscope And began searching through shake inspecting Stems ,sugar leaves seeds and Try combs . And I found a couple disturbing photos so I reached out to the cannabis community on THC farmers.com posted The pictures I took . And the responses I received were no good news. I've shopped with you in the past and never had any issues with products they were all amazing till now what can you guys do to help me out with my problem????? read more

Today, I went to the Windy City Worth dispensary, hoping to be a part of the celebration of legalized cannabis at a local place with happy people! Well man, oh man, was I wrong. I got there a little later than originally planned, and saw a pretty good size line, with some people visibly upset. Walking to the end I noticed why: there were medical patients in line with the recreational. Literally men and women with wheelchairs, canes and walkers all standing out in the freezing cold for multiple hours at Windy City Cannabis Worth. The state of Illinois said medicinal patients didn't have to succumb to the madness that is recreational legalization. I think it's cruel and unfair to create problems for people to get their medicine, especially when state legislature has already dictated the ways to treat MEDICINAL PATIENTS. Look, if that was my papa outside in the cold, hobbling up to a counter he was supposed to be able to just walk up to I'd be furious. I can see a lack of business for Windy City in the future since they want to treat cancer patients like a recreational smoker. What a shame. read more

Absolutely wonderful. I had never smoked marijuana before, and now with MS and spasms, I was referred for the Illinois MedicalCannabis card. The folks at the dispensary are very friendly and very knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable going there and have received tremendous relief of my spasms and pain. They are very patient as I have tons of questions. From my first visit, they have been very warm and tremendously helpful and kind. I am so glad that I chose Windy City in Worth as my dispensary. read more

Prices too high. Never have any specials for loyal customers. The vibes are cringeworthy. You feel like you're doing something illegal even within their facility. Lack of communication with curbside pick up, you can order something and it be out of stock when you get there. You will not be compensated for their mistakes and your time. They need art on their building, or something other than bland walls & the inside will make you feel depressed. There are plenty of places to buy your medicine from. I will be checking them out. Or a new location at least. This ain't it if you want to leave your dispensary with an experience. Nothing but love though windy. Just not the worth location. I hope your audit went well because you lost a loyal customer. read more

This location has great people! The selection keeps improving and every strain I have purchased has been at least 4 stars. Sure I wish the prices were lower but they are competitive with the Illinois market. read more

I'm fed up with driving here every week only to find a line outside the door! come on people! it's been legal now for a while, so what the hell?? Can't park here, can't park there....and lines out the fucking door every time. Four times in the past month I've come there and haven't been able to go in because of all this. Not freezing my ass standing outside to get in and there's basically no parking even if you could just walk in. They all park across the street and who knows if you'll get ticketed or towed for doing that. Talk about inconvenient!!! read more

I'm 21 years old. I came with an I.D and the boss just didn't except it simply because I'm from outside the country.

Get your act together. Why is there still lines for reservations? Follow the leaders that know what they are doing and start acting like you care in the least. Pretty simple, make reservation with order attached, come in and pay, done!! Pretty simple should not still be lines outside if you would do your job correct and efficiently. My advice is go to Midway dispensary where they know what reservation means!!! read more

Staffers are all friendly, professional, knowledgable, informed. Good selection, good choices. Hard to believe, but there is nothing to improve about this place. read more

I've never had any issues with this place. Be prepared to wait up to an hour even if you have an appointment.

Windy City helps the customers with all their needs. They also pay special attention to the Vets. The service with helping with renewals is great. They have the right person doing it, she is knowledgeable and very helpful! read more

Wait in line for 3 hours In the freezing cold to only have the option of buying a gram of one stain or 3.5 grams of another flower. And I was one of the first in there, what ever happened to supply and demand? Medical patients get over thirty options but recreational get two, I had more strains at the house. Then the price of $70 for 1/8 oz is ridiculous, taxed at almost 30 percent, very disappointed on a day I thought was gonna change my life!! read more

I wrote a review for Justice dispensary. After that I was yelled at by two budtenders so I switched to Worth now I'm being treated differently.I suffer from alot but my main mental problem is anxiety now I have a panic attack every time I go to the dispensary.they never have what I need and I feel it's on purpose like I'm being punished. All I want is to get better. read more

Wish I could give them zero stars. They never have any products and on top of that there is a middle aged guy there with blonde hair that wears a hat that is extremely rude. Ran after me outside as I walked to my car after purchasing product to tell me I wasn't "allowed" to use the bathroom because I had already purchased product. Really? Because none of the employees working there mentioned anything to me and they actually led me to the restroom with my bag in hand. So I let him know that I was unaware of that rule and that he needed to let his staff know that those were the rules because they seemed to be clueless to that rule as well. Then he cut me off and said if I wanted to continue to visit their location those were the rules. I can only assume that because I am a woman and a different race than him, I presented a problem for him and he thought he could intimidate me. I will NEVER return to this place. I highly recommend sunny side dispensary in river north though. They have an abundance of product and they treat their clientele with respect and integrity even if they do not physically LOOK the same as them. read more
