Employee that always has a mask on is beyond rude and should probably take off the mask to take a deep breath. Will never be back.

Once inside, u stand in a line facing a wall (?) I felt like awkward cattle. Shite experience all around. Tried this company's Homewood location, and it was more of the same. Greeted by a rude security guard, who told me I had to wait outside in the cold despite plenty of room inside. No types of flower available for rec customers on this day... (dozens of types for those with a medical card). The people who work at the shops are clearly annoyed by the influx of business since Rec was legalized Jan 1, and they will let u know. It's appears quite nice if u have a medical card. But Illinois is still working out a lot of kinks at the rec level.

Wow, never thought the day would come, but here it is. I can finally walk into a shop in Illinois…read moreand buy legal marijuana products. I was here on Legalize Day, and only waited for 2.5hrs, and I was only in the shop for 10-15min. While we waited in line they were giving out free coffee, posters, and Chicago style hot dogs. Then once I made a purchase I received a free knit hat with the Chicago colors and Windy City Cannabis logo on it. The shop and experience are very nice, but I did take away a star for the limited selection. I know this is probably not their fault, but it still affects me as a customer. The staff was friendly and super helpful on making choices. Sadly, the menu is still pretty limited. Where are the strain variety's? Where are the edible varieties? I'm sure there is legal roadblock there, but hopefully that will change soon. Otherwise, I will probably still keep getting my medicine the old fashioned way.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would personally ask NASA to launch me into deep space…read moreso I could retrieve a black hole and drop it directly onto this establishment. Let me begin by saying: I have eaten gas-station sushi that was a Michelin experience compared to this. We walked in and were greeted with the enthusiasm of a DMV employee on hour 11 of their shift. The hostess looked at us like we had personally ruined her childhood. After a solid five minutes of eye contact and mutual confusion, she grunted and pointed at a table that I'm pretty sure was held together by hope and one rusty screw. The food: I ordered the "house special," which tasted like someone described what flavor should be, then forgot halfway through and gave up. The chicken was simultaneously burnt, cold, and somehow wet. Physics took one look and walked out. The service: Our server vanished like a Victorian spirit the moment we sat down. I'm convinced he joined witness protection. I saw him once more, briefly, like a cryptid sighting, only to have him drop my drink so hard it carbonated itself on impact. The bathroom: Look... I've been to music festivals. I've survived porta-potties at county fairs. I've seen stuff. But whatever was going on in that restroom? That was a crime scene. The toilet paper roll was sitting on the counter like it had escaped and was considering a new life in Peru. The ambiance: Lights flickering like we were dining inside a horror movie. Music alternating between elevator jazz and what I can only assume was a recording of someone microwaving aluminum foil. Final thoughts: By the time the check arrived, I honestly felt like I needed therapy, a tetanus shot, and maybe a priest. The highlight of my meal was leaving. Would not recommend. Would not return. Would not even drive by again in case the building recognizes me.

It is the smoothest run and their discount on your first three visits is crazy. Don't be afraid to call as you order online if you have questions. The lady I talked to on my first trip was very helpful and had great recommendations. We will see how it goes now that they got bought out but I was there today and it went as smooth as usual. I wish they had a larger variety of flower on occasions but overall, again the best one I've been to in reach of WI.

I added what I wanted and you receive a text to go to the counter. I did, and a woman at the register said "I'll be right with you, one sec" so I stood back a few feet. During this time a few other folks came in, and a different woman at another register (with a Karen haircut) made a weird comment about me not being in line. I said "I didn't know there was a line" and she told me "Well, there is! It's over there but I'll let you go this one time, I guess". I was very confused... was she trying to funny? She certainly was failing, if so. I found her to be quite rude. She continued to chastise me as she rang me up. I guess in the weed business, they don't have to be nice to the customer? She made a face and said "Uh, I need your ID...?" I said "Oh, ok. You didn't ask me for it..." She said "I didn't. You were talking" So, I hear you loud and clear Curaleaf- you don't want my business. I'll go elsewhere. Gotcha Also, the prices online/at the kiosk are "estimates" and can change by the time you get to the register, which I find very odd. Also, if you have to use an ATM card, they have this absolutely bizarre practice of having to round up and then give you change. So, my order came to $36.53, they rounded up to $40, and handed me change (and then explained the $3.50 ATM fee). Since other dispensaries sell the exact same product, why go to a place that is consistently weird and treats you like this? I'll be heading to a different dispensary for my next purchase, thank you very much.
