I talked to who I assume was the owner, who was very friendly and had a lot of information on what I was asking about. However, when I was shopping, I was then followed by that same man for almost the whole time I was shopping. He would just stand there and move around to exactly where I went and it made it a very awkward time that I almost just wanted to leave. Then when he was gone, was being watched by 3 other employees, one of which seemed like she was gossiping about me or my partner. She would be staring at me or him and then turn around when we looked over. She also went to her coworker and whispered something and then very obviously the other coworker walked past us and looked directly at us almost laughing. I just felt very uncomfortable here which was very disappointing because it was a very awesome store.

In order to stay there and smoke you have to purchase over 30 dollars of cigars. Now i smoke $30 Davidoffs, it's not the price that got me. It's that the fellow cigar smoker on tight budget trying to buy a 8 dollar stick could not relax and enjoy his smoke. This upsets as a fellow enthusiasts. Don't look at us as if we only bring profit. We keep lounges alive by our presences. In order to have a successful cigar store, you need to have loyal customers. You're not going to get that buy taxing each Joe Smoe with a 30 dollar "members club" fee each time they come in. It's Plainfield people not Hindsdale. Overall, i wouldn't touch this place again with a 30 foot pole!

Another month, another sin run…read more.. Went on a field trip to the 'burbs with Jenn H. After discovering that Plainfield was NOT in Cook County and, therefore, not subject to its draconian taxes, I suggested we hit a place for smokes, thereby saving me $$$ that could be better spent on the restoration of Ye Olde Crack House. Jenn, being ever so helpful, suggested this joint. Sure, they have booze, lots of it. Although I was there for smokes, I did give the liquor a quick glance - it was there, they had a decent - if standard - selection, and the pricing seemed to be in line. That being said, the real reason to come to this store is the cheap smokes - 3 cartons of Camel Lights for $103 with taxes vs. the $260 or so you would pay in the city! Yup, that's another $150 in taxes Todd Stroger isn't going to spend giving his relatives a pay raise. Look at me, sticking it to the man and such! What a thrill, and a relatively cheap one at that. Nice staff, clean store, plenty of parking and you won't feel like you need to get a third job just to support your *still legal* nicotine habit. On the rare occasions I'm out in this neck of the woods, I'll be sure to stop back in.

We go in there to buy some vapes and ofc we opened them in store to make sure they were okay...well one was not. You hit it and it just continues to hit (shown in the video). We show the owner Musa, and he laughs in our faces and says "I see what you're doing, you're just trying to find something broken" and walks away. So we went to the car and it did it again so I walked in and said "listen we aren't trying to mess with you. It's actually broken". So he goes to get me a new one and catch's a complete attitude about how he shouldn't have to refund these blah blah blah. And I said okay thank you. He proceeded to walk away and say "mmhhhh. Get tf out of my store" under his breath as if I didn't hear him. Keep in mind, we were VERY nice the whole time we were there. Im sorry but if I'm paying for something it shouldn't be broken. Moral of the story is don't shop here. It used to be a very nice place with very nice people and ever since it's been under new management, it's been TERRIBLE. The customer service is terrible. The owner is a complete asshole. I used to LOVE this place when it was smokers kingdom and now it's just a complete shit show. The amount of disrespect we just got from Musa is absolutely DISGUSTING. I can proudly say that we are NEVER returning to this place again.
