I went into Windsor looking for summer clothing for a cruise I'll be going on in December. They have a huge selection of clearance items and right now they're all 50% off the clearance tag. I had more clothes than I could carry so I asked for a fitting room and I had the pleasure of being assisted by a girl named Rebecca. She was so kind and knowledgeable about all of the clothing in the store. There were some items I found on clearance and she would say to me "hold on we have the matching top for that" (I love matching)! My sister wasn't there to tell me how I looked in the things I was trying on, but Rebecca replaced her flawlessly for the afternoon I spent shopping in there. She was so honest with me, and believe it or not there were a few outfits she told me just didn't look right. I think it's really hard to find clothing store employees who don't just say everything looks good on you. My respect for this store has increased greatly based on the interactions I had with this girl, she really is an asset to the company. Really really shitty customer service and they neglected to tell me all sales were final when I was purchasing so after I was done paying I asked how many days I had to return it by and they said I couldn't. The manager was also very terse and unforgiving, not assisting me with the purchase of the dress and the other workers in the store kept giving me nasty looks. Took my daughter to this store for a Homecoming dress. She found the dress she loved, but it was not available at this location in her size. They explained that they could order from another store for us. They said there was a store in Michigan that had the dress in her size. On Thursday 09/01/2016 they stated that they ordered the dress. The associate I spoke explained that I would be charged $7.95 for shipping and that the dress would arrive in 5-7 business days. She stated that she would ask the store in Michigan to please make sure the dress was packaged and ready to ship by Friday Morning. I called the store on Wednesday 09/07/2016 to see if the dress had been received. The associate I spoke to was very rude and told me not to call again, that they would call me once the dress came in. I called again on Friday 09/09/2016. I again was told it was not necessary for me to call, that I would receive a call once the dress was received in the store. I asked at that time if there was a way to find when the dress should arrive. I was told that there is no way to track the shipment and I would just have to wait until I received a call. Saturday 09/10/2016 was the seventh business day from the date it was supposed to have been ordered, so instead of calling we went to the store. I spoke with Shannon , the manager, who told me they still had not received the dress and that I would need to wait until I received a call from them that it had arrived. I again questioned if they could track the shipment. I was told there is no way to do this. I then asked if we could contact the store that was supposed to be sending the dress, to see if they could provide any more information. I was told the only way they had to do this was via e-mail. Shannon offered to send an e-mail but said that she had no way to know when she would receive a response, and that she would call me. Extremely upset and frustrated with this process, I left the store. I did a google search and found the phone to a store in Michigan. I called and spoke with Gloria. She listened to my issue. She stated that it was not her store that was supposed to send the dress, but that she would do what she could to help me. She called the Mentor store and found out which store in Michigan was to be sending the dress. She called that store only to find out that Mentor had actually not ordered the dress. It was not on its way to us. So now we are less then one week before my daughters Homecoming and we have no dress. Gloria, in Michigan did advise me that the information I received was incorrect and that actually every shipment has a tracking number. Now, beyond frustrated I returned to the Mentor store and spoke with Shannon, the manager again. I questioned why I was told there was no tracking system when in fact I was advised by another location that every shipment has tracking information. She stated that she was not aware that was available and in fact had no idea that the company had a policy in place for this. I then asked her why the dress was never ordered for me. She replied" well sometimes things happen. I am sure we just got busy with customers in the store and forgot to order it. " I asked how that was even acceptable and she stated that sometimes things just happen. She was extremely rude and very disrespectful. Gloria from Michigan then called me back. She was able to locate the dress for me. She offered to overnight the shipment to Mentor location at no cost to me. The dress would arrive on Tuesday 03/13/2016. She stated that she forwarded all my contact information to Mentor. Since I was already speaking to Shannon, I asked if they had all my information. She stated she was not sure and didn't know how to check, yet she is the manager. She gave me a scrap of receipt paper and asked me to write my phone number down. I did this and gave it back to her. She set in down on the counter, where other cashiers are checking people out, and walked away. Worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Will NEVER return to this store again. I will however gladly drive to Michigan to purchase our future formal dressed from Gloria!!! read more
