In each case, I was treated with the utmost professionalism (not sure what some of these other posters are talking about here!). I continue to use their services and I will do so well into the future. I cannot laud them enough! For the record, the reason for the approximate three separate dealings over about two years or more is related to issues with the unit, and NOT their poor workmanship. In each case, the team took care of me right away, including a few days before Christmas, when I had water in my basement from the heating unit and NO heat or hot water! They fit me into their schedule and we had a warm holiday! In each incident, they worked diligently to secure the part from the manufacturer and came to my home as soon as possible thereafter. Each time, they managed to get the unit working again until the new replacement part arrived. I have now decided to replace the unit and stop dumping funds into this six-year old unit that has been what I would call a "lemon," since day 1. While the unit was under warranty (5-years), I could deal with paying their labor fees instead of replacing the unit, but now I must pay for the parts and the labor and it became cost prohibitive when compared to the installation of a new unit. I have had dealings with the team with credit cards over the phone, cash payments in person, and they are always pleasant, respectful and conscientious. For the few naysayers, everyone has a bad day, every once in a while, and the customer does not always understand THEY may be having a bad day and how it affects those with whom they are dealing. I find KAEBLE Energy to be honest and they have always proven to me they are there to me help me in my time of need. I will continue to support this company for the foreseeable future.

I know not everybody is always able to make accommodations like that, but I appreciate him taking my small children into consideration. He was reasonable, reliable, and efficient. After he completed the job, he also followed through the next day by checking in to make sure everything was working properly!

I called him yesterday and he was able to schedule an appointment 9:30 AM the next day. He was at the house promptly at 9:30 AM and figured out that the transformer on the boiler was dead. The heater is over 20 years old but it works and rather than say I needed to replace the whole unit he said I just needed to replace the transformer. He had one in the truck along with an expansion tank because he noticed that the existing one I had needed to be replaced as well. The whole fix took about 1.5 hours. He was friendly and a great guy to talk to, I learned a thing or two about the unit I had installed and that goes a long way to helping me maintain it. I put his card in my file and I will definitely be using him in the future if I need any other work done. It's a 65 year old house so I'm sure that will be sooner than later.

We had Joe Abbate and his team at Joseph Abbate Plumbing & Heating Contractors install a new high…read moreefficiency boiler in our new house as part of the Energize CT heating loan program. Joe was excellent throughout the entire process. After speaking to over 10 other contractors, all of whom came out and gave me estimates ranging from $6000 through $14000, I was thoroughly impressed with Joe's professionalism and his attitude from the start. He was completely upfront about pricing, credits from manufacturers, anticipated labor time, etc. Where are other contractors were just trying to squeeze every last dime out of me I never got that impression from Joe. When it came to the actual work, Joe was able to coordinate around our schedule (as we were in the process of getting married and moving into the new house at the same time). The team he had working with him was excellent throughout the whole process as well. They were all extremely polite and professional and I had no concerns about leaving them in my house to get the necessary work done. I never saw them standing around with nothing to do and they were very respectful of our property. They even made sure that they cleaned up each and every day after they finished working, which was excellent, and definitely not something every company does. It's 5 months later and I still haven't found a single nail or piece of cut piping laying on the ground. The boiler that was put in works excellently, probably better than my initial expectations. He also removed the ancient boiler and oil tank that were there when we purchased the property. Once again, there were no issues with the removal and I love having the extra room in the basement. It has been 5 months since he installed the system and there has been two times when I have had a minor leak, and due to my fear of plumbing, I called Joe both times. On both occasions not only did Joe get back to me within the hour, he also arranged to have one of his guys out at my house the following morning. Both of the problems were relatively easy fixes and the individual was in and out of my house in under an hour on both occasions. I have nothing but high regards for Mr. Abbate and his company and would not hesitate to use them again.

They were a blessing to me, even the young lady who answered the phone was so sweet and polite. and this meant so much more because I've been having an extremely rough year, been having a lot of Windows slammed in my face but Mr Abbate came to assess my furnace and he was so considerate and so empathetic and compared to everyone else I had been dealing with in the past few weeks, he considered how cold it was outside and how uncomfortable it must have been for me, and he made sure to get my furnace in, even though I'm pretty sure his schedule is extremely tight right now. He could have waited until after Christmas but he tried his best to get the work done for me right away, and for that I will be forever grateful.
