I went in today with a gift card from Christmas ready to shop. There was a large girl with long brunette hair, and a small girl with shorter blond hair and glasses. I was in there for at least 20 minutes. No one ever greeted me, no one ever came to tell me about any specials. They seemed to notice almost everyone else shopping in the store. They seemed to start fitting rooms for almost everyone in the store. And I seemed to wander around with a pile of cloths waiting to even be acknowledged. After being passed by several times by both associates waiting for anyone at all to offer me a fitting room , I set my pile of stuff on a table and walked out. Not sure what happened to the great service I've become accostumed to receiving here, but it was anything but. Worst trip in I've ever made. This particular store knocks it out of the ballpark with its inviting layout, outstanding & helpful staff, and cool "extra" in-store features. Coming from out of town, we discovered the need to pick up some essentials (wardrobe backups) and stopped by on a whim. Upon first entering this store, you instantly get a warm feeling. It's a well kept, clean location, with a two-story loft theme, aesthetically pleasing design, and nice display setups throughout. Upstairs, we were immediately welcomed by "Jovan" in the men's section. He was a master at identifying the best fits/sizes and suggesting items that are now my husband's new faves (the new athletic line!). Jovan was super knowledgeable about the AE brand and popular men's styles, and he was friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. As we checked out, Jovan also informed us about the FREE customized tags/labels you can request to be stitched onto your jeans (at a booth by the entrance), and it only took a few minutes for the seamstress "Abby" to etch the monograms for us - - a really cool and unique added touch! Bonus: There's also a little photo op nook, setup with benches, a backdrop, and a beauty light tripod for customers to share their style & outfit inspos... She was so patient with me and I think I tried on at least 10 bras in the whole hour that I was in there. (I am so OCD, I clasped and hug every bra back on hangers) They did not have the size for the style that I wanted in house, but I was able to take a picture of the tag and order it online. Now I know my size and Wood style fits best for my current and ever-changing body shape. I appreciate Roxanne's assistance as she was the only one there at the time that I was in the store for an hour, and I cannot wait to see if the purchase online will in fact be a perfect fit. Less than 15 minutes we had a full three piece, shoes , cologne, tie and pocket square. We were skeptical because of the reviews but everyone else has no patience. If you're a big and tall man (my business man is 6'5 with size 15-16 shoes) they do have a small selection ready to go off rack , ready to wear. Staff is respectful and quiet, and they have an in-house seamstress who can do 20 minute hems on the spot. We will be back for sure.

A few weeks ago I stopped in to buy some black slacks. I tried them on quickly, purchased them and was out of the store in minutes. After I got home I took them out of the bag and set them on our ottoman so my wife could take them to get altered ( they were 34/30 and I'm closer to 34/28). The next day she noticed the stitching near the zipper and also near the crotch was coming undone. Not worn, not washed. So she put them in my car when I got home and recommended I exchange them. Returned to MW a week later on my day off and the one young kid working there said he could not return them due to the damage and a small dust stain. Keep in mind, they sold them to me, already having shoddy stitching. My fault for not inspecting them more thoroughly when I bought them, but I was in a hurry and never had a problem with their products before. The young man said a manager would have to approve the exchange, so I asked when the manager would be in. I went back today after work, said pants in a MW bag, without the tags, unfortunately (wife tossed them out). Walked in the store, 3 young guys at the counter on their phones, no greeting until I got to the counter. Also, no other customers present. Explained the situation to the "manager", Micheal, and after a quick look he refused to return, exchange or even credit me, stating he would not return them because of the damage and lack of tags. I persisted, stating I know they can return them to the manufacturer for credit, so what's the big deal. He denied me again and said he would not exchange them, obviously trying to impress his 2 coworkers with his "Manager" title. I left the pants and told him I won't return again. You lost 15-20 loyal customers over a cocky, arrogant kid and a $90 pair of slacks. One more note, it would seem that this kid has cost you customers before (see Samuel D's review from 10 months ago).
