I came into the Bridal Manor on July 31st 2021 and needed a wedding dress by my October wedding. I know - crazy. Off the rack was the only option and I heard great things about their selection. Janine assisted me and was so helpful, pulling beautiful dresses within the style I was looking for. We tried a few others as well for comparison. I think in total I tried 8 dresses and the 3rd one she pulled ended up being THE ONE. The process was seamless and I was able to take home my dress that day. It needed a few alterations which I had to take somewhere else for the tight turnaround time, but it was reasonably priced and just the right size. From setting up my appointment to leaving the store, everything about my experience was perfect. Gia was my consultant; when she found out this was my first time ever looking at dresses, she made me feel incredibly comfortable and less anxious. I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted, and had my sister & mom pick out some options, while Gia picked a couple as well. She had thrown in a "wild card" as she put it, and it was the second dress I tried on. I'm telling you right now, she is magic -- I put that dress on and I just knew it was the one. After trying on a few more I went right back to that wild card -- Gia was so spot on and just knew what would work for me. I felt welcomed, validated, and never pressured to make a decision. I was so hopeful I'd find a dress my first appointment and am so overjoyed that happened. Gia and the rest of the team at LLB was absolutely amazing. Our appointment was with Natalie who is incredible and really put me at ease. She (and my mom) encouraged me to try a different silhouette which I surprisingly loved! My dream dress ultimately ended up being one that Natalie picked from the rack, which perfectly combined the elements I originally wanted, with the new features I learned that I loved that day. I brought my 2 aunts, mom, and mother-in-law, and I'll never forget the moment they all gasped and "aww-ed". We had found THE dress!! They even encouraged me to try on a silhouette that was a little different from what I thought would be nice on me. I'm on the shorter side and have bigger hips, so I had originally asked for an A-line. After trying on a few of those styles and not loving any of them, they suggested I try a fit and flare. It was gorgeous!!!! They even had the seamstress there to walk me through what the alterations would look like. This was my first appointment of the day, so they encouraged me to be open about other dresses, sleep on it, and come back if I decided on one of their dresses. I ultimately bought a beautiful lace Provonius fit and flare off the rack for our wedding in Sep 2022 and I cannot be more excited to wear it!! I also love the one-on-one experience you get with Simplicity. You are the only one in there so all their attention is on you. Highly recommend!

This was the second salon I went to for my wedding dress and it was overall a very uncomfortable experience. I walked in not really knowing what I wanted with just a few pictures in hand. I showed pictures to the consultant and to the first or second picture I showed her she said, "You really like that"- questioning my preferences. She also said, 'They don't make dresses like that anymore' (this was a picture of a satin style dress- which I have seen pictures of in many of the newest bridal magazines recently so not sure what she was talking about). I also ended up purchasing a satin dress not from here obviously. Basically the entire time I did not feel welcome or listened to at all. I was really hoping that this salon would offer a better experience especially because of all of the positive reviews on the knot and wedding wire. The atmosphere was very stuffy. The consultant did not show me any dresses that I described or showed her pictures of- nothing was what I asked for. I felt like the consultant was putting me in dresses she wanted to wear herself rather than my personal style. I also had to wear gloves to "protect the sample dresses" something that seems quite extreme - like I would rather wash my hands and what about the makeup on my face do you really think white gloves are going to "protect your dresses?" I really would not recommend this place- it is just not a welcoming atmosphere. My family with me felt the same as well about this experience.

On Friday, when the status was still the same , I called the customer service number. I was told they would try to contact the warehouse but that the package was waiting to be picked up... which I clearly already knew. I called UPS and was told the sender needed to schedule a pickup and that creating a label does lot do that automatically... which I would assume JC Penny would know. I called the customer service number again and was told that they would look into it and if it was not picked up by Monday to call back to have another one sent. Seriously? So I am still waiting for them to send me my order. Horrible.

I left that day booking my appointment to come back and buy my dress a week later. I picked up my dress in January of 2025. I was there today buying jewelry for my wedding tomorrow(I know waiting until the last minute is definitely not ideal) and now I am getting married tomorrow(May 17th, 2025). Her store is absolutely stunning, smells divine, and the dresses are even better! I have never seen such beautiful dresses. If you are looking for unique, well-made, and comfortable dresses this is the place to go! Throughout this entire process Cyndi has been nothing but kind, caring, generous, and honest. I truly wouldn't have wanted you to go through this process with anyone but her. Infinity/10 would always recommend.

I want to caution…read morebridal gown shoppers to ensure they know what size is being ordered because when my daughter got married, she got measured by Cyndi and was quoted "I never measured a double zero size." However she put the order for the gown in as a size 2. When we picked the dress up, it was way too big and we saw it was a 2 and she told us "That's all the smallest size it came in" but my daughter quickly found online that it did indeed come in a size 0. Oversizing meant an additional $400+ in alterations to a seamstress that works with Cyndi. She was not apologetic about ordering the dress two sizes too big. The dress itself was beautiful.
