She had thrown in a "wild card" as she put it, and it was the second dress I tried on. I'm telling you right now, she is magic -- I put that dress on and I just knew it was the one. I read all the reviews online and decided it was worth a shot. I was nervous because I have a totally custom, beaded lace Justin Alexander gown and it was ordered when I was in my best shape. Then I had a baby. With my *destination wedding* only 3 weeks away and needing all kinds of changes made to my gown, it was a tall order. I made an appointment, Yeon pinned me and made note of all my requests (including having a piece of my mother's gown sewn into the lining of mine, and adding a custom embroidered monogram dress label) - a complicated alteration since it needed to be delicately treated in order to not disturb the pattern of the lace and beading - and still make it fit like a glove. I left that appointment feeling sad about the way my dress looked and unsure that Yeon would be able to make it look good on me again. When I went for my fitting just a couple days ago, I was floored. All the things I thought would be too difficult to do, were done to perfection. The dress and patterns didn't look the least bit disturbed - everything laid flat against my body with no drooping, sagging, or tenting, and she gave me a waistline and a curvy silhouette. She also added a 9-hook French bustle that is absolutely perfect. She is quick, pleasant, expertly skilled, AND very reasonably priced - all in all I spent just over 10% of what the dress boutique wanted to charge me! I would absolutely recommend Yeon and Fashion Stitch to ANYONE looking for expert alterations.

This was the 1st consignment shop I went to in the area and was delightfully pleased. In this shop I mostly find a few tops, jeans and handbags that I enjoy. What is most ironic is that I have been there several times buying things for my family & friends who live out of town. The power of a smartphone with a camera and texting has turned me into a personal shopper. I came into the Bridal Manor on July 31st 2021 and needed a wedding dress by my October wedding. I know - crazy. Off the rack was the only option and I heard great things about their selection. Janine assisted me and was so helpful, pulling beautiful dresses within the style I was looking for. We tried a few others as well for comparison. I think in total I tried 8 dresses and the 3rd one she pulled ended up being THE ONE. The process was seamless and I was able to take home my dress that day. It needed a few alterations which I had to take somewhere else for the tight turnaround time, but it was reasonably priced and just the right size. I highly recommend them for an intimate boutique experience.
