Gia was my consultant; when she found out this was my first time ever looking at dresses, she made me feel incredibly comfortable and less anxious. I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted, and had my sister & mom pick out some options, while Gia picked a couple as well. She had thrown in a "wild card" as she put it, and it was the second dress I tried on. I'm telling you right now, she is magic -- I put that dress on and I just knew it was the one. After trying on a few more I went right back to that wild card -- Gia was so spot on and just knew what would work for me. I felt welcomed, validated, and never pressured to make a decision. I was so hopeful I'd find a dress my first appointment and am so overjoyed that happened. Gia and the rest of the team at LLB was absolutely amazing. I read all the reviews online and decided it was worth a shot. I was nervous because I have a totally custom, beaded lace Justin Alexander gown and it was ordered when I was in my best shape. Then I had a baby. With my *destination wedding* only 3 weeks away and needing all kinds of changes made to my gown, it was a tall order. I made an appointment, Yeon pinned me and made note of all my requests (including having a piece of my mother's gown sewn into the lining of mine, and adding a custom embroidered monogram dress label) - a complicated alteration since it needed to be delicately treated in order to not disturb the pattern of the lace and beading - and still make it fit like a glove. I left that appointment feeling sad about the way my dress looked and unsure that Yeon would be able to make it look good on me again. When I went for my fitting just a couple days ago, I was floored. All the things I thought would be too difficult to do, were done to perfection. The dress and patterns didn't look the least bit disturbed - everything laid flat against my body with no drooping, sagging, or tenting, and she gave me a waistline and a curvy silhouette. She also added a 9-hook French bustle that is absolutely perfect. She is quick, pleasant, expertly skilled, AND very reasonably priced - all in all I spent just over 10% of what the dress boutique wanted to charge me! I would absolutely recommend Yeon and Fashion Stitch to ANYONE looking for expert alterations.

We arrived right on time and were the only people in the store. We were brought in the back dressing area. Rosemary was so sweet and helpful. She showed me what area had my dress sizes. I picked a few dresses & started trying them on. Rosemary picked out a few as we were progressing. Very relaxing, low stress experience. I found my wedding dress! The store is special because you take the dress home from the rack. This is great when the dress is your size and style. Highly recommend coming here once you've tried other bridal stores. If you find the one, you'll go home with it.

Ivy knew right away after our conversation of what I was looking for and what dresses to pull. We found the designer that fit me almost perfectly. The average price was $200 to $250; some range higher. Bridal gowns seemed to have better luck but since I was looking for a bridal dress to dance in, it was a dud because they only had 5 short dresses. Shirley was my consultant and was clever and fun to work with while shopping. She was witty and had great ideas. I really enjoyed working with her. There were four different rooms that were sectioned off, one section had a table with chairs. The negative is that the mirrors are flat (no 3 way view) and you cannot see the dress from behind unless you use a handheld mirror. I wouldn't buy my dress from the Macy's bridal but if a bride asked me my opinion I would still suggest going to try their dresses out. My bridesmaids didn't get their dresses from the salon but did find them on a clearance rack out on the floor (lucky!). Also, since it is located in the mall there are other department stores, retail shops and a place to grab food.

To be honest, I was pretty snotty about going initially, buying a wedding gown in a department store and all that. But once we got there, Michaela helped us look at styles (I had no idea what I wanted, even though I'd tried on a bunch of other dresses in other stores), and pulled a couple of gowns she thought I'd like. She was absolutely lovely. We narrowed down the style I liked as we went through, she let me try on dresses just for fun, and as we were going, she would pick dresses to try that helped figure out my style (Was it the lace of the last dress I liked? The skirt? The neckline? The back?). I found my dress, the second one I tried on, and after 27,000,000 others, we tried it back on, she pulled the perfect veil and it just fit. I also am in recovery from an eating disorder and really cannot know my measurements. Other bridal salons have been incredibly unaccommodating and rude and hurtful. As soon as I told Michaela I really couldn't know my measurements, she didn't even hesitate, she measured me, said it was going to be perfect, and even made sure not to show me the size she ordered for me (which I didn't even request! She just went above and beyond) so I could just be thrilled and excited and not stressed about any numbers. I didn't think I would find THE dress, but I definitely did, and I'm so happy we went. Plus, the trunk show had SO many gorgeous dresses, I was really able to tell what I liked and didn't.

Cove Bridal was a short drive from me so we thought we'd give it a try. I went to other shops first but none made us feel as welcome as Nadine did. At a few shops we went to you could tell a ton of people tried on the sample dresses because pieces were missing, strings were hanging, hem was dirty...but the sample dress we bought was perfect. The prices range from $500 on up so there's a great selection if you're in a time crunch.

I'm on the shorter side and have bigger hips, so I had originally asked for an A-line. After trying on a few of those styles and not loving any of them, they suggested I try a fit and flare. It was gorgeous!!!! They even had the seamstress there to walk me through what the alterations would look like. This was my first appointment of the day, so they encouraged me to be open about other dresses, sleep on it, and come back if I decided on one of their dresses. I ultimately bought a beautiful lace Provonius fit and flare off the rack for our wedding in Sep 2022 and I cannot be more excited to wear it!! I also love the one-on-one experience you get with Simplicity. You are the only one in there so all their attention is on you. Highly recommend!

This was the second salon I went to for my wedding dress and it was overall a very uncomfortable experience. I walked in not really knowing what I wanted with just a few pictures in hand. I showed pictures to the consultant and to the first or second picture I showed her she said, "You really like that"- questioning my preferences. She also said, 'They don't make dresses like that anymore' (this was a picture of a satin style dress- which I have seen pictures of in many of the newest bridal magazines recently so not sure what she was talking about). I also ended up purchasing a satin dress not from here obviously. Basically the entire time I did not feel welcome or listened to at all. I was really hoping that this salon would offer a better experience especially because of all of the positive reviews on the knot and wedding wire. The atmosphere was very stuffy. The consultant did not show me any dresses that I described or showed her pictures of- nothing was what I asked for. I felt like the consultant was putting me in dresses she wanted to wear herself rather than my personal style. I also had to wear gloves to "protect the sample dresses" something that seems quite extreme - like I would rather wash my hands and what about the makeup on my face do you really think white gloves are going to "protect your dresses?" I really would not recommend this place- it is just not a welcoming atmosphere. My family with me felt the same as well about this experience.

When I arrived with my mom and sister, we were treated to champagne and our own little corner to try on dresses. Rachel assisted us with everything and was just lovely. She welcomed us immediately and made us feel very comfortable. She had the dress I liked all ready to go, as well as another one I had picked out ahead of time. I chose a few more and she assisted me with the zipper/clipping when needed. Rachel even showed me some pretty clips to pair with the hairstyle I have in mind. At first I thought that the one hour time slot they give you wouldn't be nearly enough time, but it was perfect! The whole experience was so wonderful and easy, and I said yes to the dress! I ended up buying the dress I had my eyes on ahead of the appointment, and the three of us so enjoyed this memorable experience.
