Walked in on Saturday around…read more2:25, not realizing shop closes at 3...however, when we sat down, we were asked if we could come back Tuesday at 7pm, because they wanted to get out on time - totally fair. We had lunch next door at the Pho place, which is great. Anyway, my husband went back Tuesday at 7, as asked, and ended up with either a new guy, or someone in training, because his hair looks uneven, awful and short. We even had a reference pic of his actual hair from another time he had it done, which was great, and shouldn't have been a problem. The original guy who told my husband to come back was busy, so he got the only other younger guy who took over an hour to butcher his head. First, he was told to come back Tuesday night after work, only to sit in the chair for an hour, just to get a bad haircut. Crap customer service. Its disappointing because we had an important function to go to this week. Never again.

If you can find those, you can find John. John takes walk-in clients and doesn't do appointments. A lot of people simply don't know he's there, yet he's been barbering in this location since 1982. John has been cutting hair since the sixties. He has the skill and knowledge to provide a classic haircut for men and boys. His shop is not a fancy modern barber shop with a pool table, nor does he offer you a craft beer. What John provides is a quality haircut at a very very reasonable price. John doesn't offer traditional straight razor face shaves, so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere. John's shop is dated, much like the East End of Canonsburg. Canonsburg a town once littered with quality barbers is suffering a lack of quality barbers that can provide a classic men's haircut for men of all ages, whether you're 7 or 70. Look no further if your needs are simple, you like a decent conversation and you want a great haircut from a traditional barber that takes his time.
