I need the haircut so went to try new place called sports cliff franchise on Willow grove. When I checked in, they told me the wait was more than 30 minutes so walked out and started to look elsewhere. I didn't make an appointment but walked in work fine with no wait on Sunday afternoon. It was good overall with $25 plus tip. I thing the guy name is Brian, he took his time and Tripp all over carefully. Pay good attention to detail park of my hair with head shape. The warm towel on my neck on cold winter was so refreshing and relaxing. However, he missed my sideburn so I came home and cut it by myself. I wish they have shampoo and styling. Overall, everything was good. read more

I had a 3:45 appointment at the Hatboro location... an HOUR later not one of the three stylist working could take me for whatever reason, then foisted their ineptitude off on the poor teenage girl working at the reception desk. I left without getting my hair cut. I went a block up the street to Royal Barbershop who took me immediately and gave me an exceptional haircut. I'm not exaggerating when I say that Players Barber Shop gave me the worst customer service experience of my life today. Absolutely unacceptable. If this was the LAST barbershop on God's green Earth, I still would not go here. read more

bro she messed up my hairline gng:( like bruhhh ima get flamed at school nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I went to players in Hatboro on Sunday morning, And I got my haircut by Serg, And I'm sorry He Did not do a good job at all, you go to a barbershop For the straight Razor and the hot towel, and those Clean Crisp lines, I ask for A Hard Part, and A Mid Skin Fade, he didn't shape the lines up and For the hard part he just went over it once with the electric trimmer, You are supposed to use a straight razor for the hard part So it Stands out, Bottom line is it was as if I went to sport cuts or some other chain fake barber's Idk if he thought I wasn't gonna tip well, But I tip very well if the job is done right, I won't give players a one star because I like Players I was going to the one in Warrington, however I had a lot of personal things going on and Overwhelmed at work that caused me to miss Some Appointments with The BEST BARBER in that Place JD, so she won't Take my appointments anymore Not that I blame her at all, She's Still top notch in my book So I figured I'd give This location a try I will be back just with a different barber read more

Thank you for putting your prices online. $30 + tip for a haircut??? NOPE! I'll have to use my Flowbee!

Don't get your haircut by Sergio . And I'm just being honest . Butchered a skin fade and didn't listen to what I wanted or asked me any questions . No tip ! $30 haircut ...... they should've paid me to get my haircut by him lmfao told me I needed "this " haircut instead to look "bold " wtf ! Who is this guy ? read more

Excellent haircut & friendly customer service by Jennifer. Will definitely be back :) read more

Players Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Hatboro, Pennsylvania

I don't know what it is with this place but they continue to hire these people that don't know how to run a book with appointments. I made an appointment with Rich (one of the better barbers imo) for 4:30. I walked in 10 mins early. Told the receptionist the time and who I had an appointment with and also told them my name to confirm it. I waited about 20 mins until Rich is finally finished with his customer. But then here comes the issue. this receptionist allowed a walk in who came in 15 mins after I walked in to be seated with Rich before me. She notices I was like "what is going on here" and asked me "didn't you have an appointment with Rich?"she walks back and tells the barber I had an appointment, then continues to set up this walk-in with a haircut. She comes back and doesn't say anything besides "I said something to him." I've had other run ins with this same issue and started setting appointments but they still manage to mess things up at this place. I guess it's time to find a new barbershop because this place has the worst business model. What is the point in being able to make appointments if you can't stick by them? Maybe one day this place will hire people who this expert knowledge to know how to read paper and have people seated in the order they walk in, but probably not because it's a very hard thing to do. read more

service at this location is less then par warrington gives better cuts and better service . Saturday morning I waited outside for the shop to open while barbers were here waiting to work . took too long I had to leave so I wouldn't miss my prior arrangement. came back with my son for an1pm appointment and the barber nella was finishing a gentleman that took to 120 she then sat her 130 and skipped my son . lost my business read more

Poor haircut that will take weeks to grow to "normal". Even went too a second barber who tol me only time and Mother Nature will help. Best part, Players charged $30!! Not worth going back for a refund. read more

First time trying out this shop and I was not impressed with the cut and shave I received. I want to be fair and say that everyone working there seemed nice and it looked like others had received good quality haircuts, but the lady who I worked with did not give me the same experience. The buzz was uneven, with many spots left longer than others. I get that it can happen but it felt rushed so I don't feel like she was being attentive to catch them afterward. The mirror she held up was so far away that I couldn't even tell until I got home. The straight razor shave was the worst part, it really didn't feel like she had done them before. She only went in one direction and so I was left with tons of stubble after, kind of making the shave pointless. She also missed many spots on my neck and left me with cuts on others. Usually places apply a shave butter or oil first and then a foam, but weirdly she put the foam on first and then went back over with another type of lotion but only in some spots? She kept going over the same spots many times because she didn't seem to know how to use the razor properly. The towels also weren't that hot, but admittedly that can be a matter of preference. For $40 and a $10 tip I ended up having to just shave my whole head and face again when I got home. I get the whole trendy barbershop thing with more expensive services is in, but all of the barbers should be able to offer the same quality experience to justify the price. My family owned a barbershop for years so I feel bad leaving a negative review, but I just don't feel it is okay to allow this poor of service in your shop. read more

Players Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Hatboro, Pennsylvania

The haircut was well done by Sergio - good service& attention to detail. However, the quite public conversation of another barber & his client condoned the use of racial slurs (although none were utter, just referenced) throughout their discourse. read more

Went today to get a beard clean up and trim. None the less I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism. Everything looked up to par and the employees were nice as expected. Job was done very tediously and meticulously and would recommend players to any and all of my friends read more

Barbers are sharp and good but im not sure if he delivered on what i asked. I asked for a blow out like jersey ny style and it didnt happen. Maybe ill try it again but not a fan so far read more

Great people. Grew a quarantine beard and had it made into something significantly less hobo-like. Good work from Nick.

I went in for a haircut and a shave and was in the chair for almost 90 minutes. 90 minutes my face was aggressively shaved and brutalized.

As I am writing this, I'm debating whether I should share George with you yelpers or not. If word gets out of his amazing barbering skills, there might be a line the next time I get my cut. On the other hand, if I don't share, I'd be doing a disservice to George and to victims of bad haircuts around the world. So here goes...he's the best barber I've ever been to, swear on my mother. George is the real deal. I've sat in his chair for over a year and every time, I've been more than satisfied. The barber shop itself is clean and emits old school machismo. Other pros: more than enough parking, ability to pay by credit card, & friendly staff. I haven't had my cut by anyone else but George but if the owner, Tony, knew to recruit one of the best, I'm willing to bet the rest of the crew are top notch. read more

Treated myself to a birthday haircut and shave (hot towels, warm lather, razor) and wanted to give Player's a shot. My barber, Jay, was fantastic! He is very meticulous and it shows in how good he made me look. Jay's attention to detail exceeds a lot of the other stylists I've used; he even went after those stray ear hairs! Jay wasn't very chatty which was OK by me since I wanted to chill and enjoy the experience but his chair was right next to Jeff's and Jeff clearly likes the witty banter with clients so there was some entertainment. The shop itself is neat and clean. It's got a retro feel to it that isn't cliché. And you can enjoy a beer while you wait. Player's is well worth the 30 minutes it took for me to get there and I will be back. read more

Donna's the best! After a recommendation from a youtube video I switched to this barber shop after dealing with so many average places. Gotta say I'm very impressed with the service of everyone that works here...walked in and within 5 minutes had a nice beer in my hand. Donna knows her stuff and switched me to a different haircut style that I should have did years ago. I couldn't be happier. read more

Just tried this spot out for the first time. I typically go to another shop in the area but was in a pinch and needed to get in for a cut quicker than normal. In my opinion - Players Barbershop is a decent place for an acceptable cut but if you care more about the quality of the cut than the atmosphere of the shop - this isn't your spot. Seems more like old school music, ties & vests, and tap beer are more important than the product itself. My intention isn't to bash the place as they certainly do a decent job but personally - I won't be back. read more

Jeff has been my barber at Players from day one. He's as meticulous as you get when it comes to making sure you leave there looking and feeling better than before you arrived. He always remembers what we talked about previously; asking me how the new job is, or about my parents health, or the new girl I'm dating. It's not small talk. It's genuine talk. I just got a fresh haircut and beard trim from him this morning. After being out and about all day, I came home, looked in the mirror and immediately sent him this text:  "Jeff, amazing job on my hair and beard today, man. They look great. Very happy. Thanks again for making me look and feel like a million bucks!" That says it all. Go see Jeff if you want to develop a quality relationship with your barber and get a skilled haircut and/or beard trim. You'll thank yourself and others will notice you're style! read more

Great job on the fade. The employees were very nice and hospitable and I didn't have ti wait long at all to get my hair cut

I got a great haircut here, but there is one guy there that is super homophobic and offensive. He was offering to blow my friend and just complaining about how not gay he was in front of everyone. I wasn't sure if he was gay or just really offensive. Overall good haircut. read more

Never coming again every time I did I would have long hair asking for a trim just for someone to cut it short ignoring what I asked them to do. This place fucked up my hair for school pictures. read more

They were alright. I got a good haircut at a decent price the other day. I had Allison/Ashley do my hair. I told her what my girlfriend wanted (I have no idea about hair), and she said she knew what to do and went at it. Not a single word until she was finished. I do have to say that the environment put me off a tiny bit. The other barber was talking about porn news and there was a fairly big smell of smoke. I'll go again, but it left me a little uncomfortable. read more

Went in right after the eagles won the NFC championship to get my hair cut and colored. Had to get the bright green Mohawk of course!! Went to Nicole, and she was absolutely amazing!! She took care of everything for me!! Held great conversations about music and the 90's. I honestly cant wait til my hair grows back to head back!! Thank you again!! read more

Barbers are decent, if they stick around long enough. The biggest issue is the front desk, especially the younger guy. Cant be bothered to take an appointment, totally turned away people walking in when walk-ins are posted on door. He was more concerned about air drumming to awful music. I had 1 pm appointment and we still waited for 40 min. Not apologetic and when I asked how much longer past our scheduled appointment the female barber responded nastily. No one was talking to her. This is a service industry, makes huge difference to provide good service from beginning to end. read more

Yes! Yes! Yes! My husband and son have been going here for some time. They love it. Their cuts are always on point. I wanted a change, a pixie cut with some kick ass color. I figured why not a barber shop and off I went. First off the vibe here is super awesome! The people are hysterical, friendly and extremely talented. You want a beer, done. Coffee, done. The best cut and color ever.. done and done. Special shout out to my main man Tim! He rocked my cut and gave me the best color I've ever had! Short hair on a girl is an art form and he has mastered his craft. So to all the ladies out there looking for an amazing experience and style, check this place out!!! No need to look any where else. read more

George the barber moved.... "Sevan salon" in conshohocken, pa. FYI for anyone looking for George.

Shout out to Mike Ripley, barber at Player's Barber shop, Hatboro, Pa. Mike gives an awesome haircut! He possesses an innate natural ability to cut hair with precision and style. Well trained and experienced, Mike's fades are cut clean, well-detailed and look sharp! I travel 40 minutes from Newtown to the Hatboro shop. There are barbers closer but its worth the trip to look my best with a clean sharp fade from Mike Ripley. read more

I went to the Players Barbershop in Warrington for a beard trim since they advertise beard trimming and almost every picture on the website show men having beards trimmed. I was greeted by Ann, who stated that she does beards. I told Ann exactly what I wanted, which was to just bring the sides in a little and slightly clean up the shape. Ann told me she understood. Ann completely butchered my beard which had been growing out for almost a year. I now have to start over. Completely start over! So here are my messages: to all the beards out there: stay away!! You patiently grew your beard, don't let a hack like Ann screw it up on you!! to Ann, do not represent yourself as a person who knows how to trim a beard properly because you do not!! To the owners of Players: do not let inexperienced people like Ann touch peoples beards!! She messed up the one service that helps distinguish you from every other barber shop or hair salon. read more

Read other reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. Awesome first time experience. Tim I believe cut my hair and it was quick and efficient and it turned out just like it should. Was looking for a place to be able to stop In and get a quick cut for a reasonable price and this is the place will definitely be coming back. Thanks read more

Great work and a good price. I got a good haircut at a decent price the other day.

Very disappointed. Called on the Monday before Father's Day to make my husband and father-in-law appointments for haircuts, shaved, etc. though they say they are open 7 days a week, their voicemail said they were closed for the day and to try again the next day. I was able to get through the next day and whoever answered the phone seemed too busy to take down down an appointment but reluctantly did, so I thought. My husband and father-in-law arrived on Sunday only to find that the store was closed. read more

I used to go to Players in Warrington...., a walking distance from my house but was put off by revolving door of Barbers and high prices for $15 for a 1 sec electric beard trim. I was in a rush and saw the Hatboro location and was pleasantly surprised as Nicole gave me exactly what I asked for and one of the best barbers and she's a Girl. The girls is most Barber Shops are usually new and take the walkins who don't know anybody. She put me in my place as advised me she used to teach classes for hairstyling for 15 yrs. I'm so glad I gave the shop a second chance and the owner with the long beard is always is pleasant and staff is comical and makes it enjoyable to get a cut. I'm going back to Hatboro and only using Nicole. It would be 5 stars but lower the beard trim prices. read more
