I was able to make the appointment online which was convenient. Brett was personable and suggested a plan of attack given the ample time I have until my spring wedding. First the shoulders will be taken up. That was less than $50. Next he suggested we do the hem (about $200 for a multilayered lace dress). Then the simple bustle will be added to the back for about $150. Finally, I am to come back in February for any final adjustments in case I lose weight. Prices were well in line with my expectations. And my fiancé Paul will be ordering his rental suit from Brett in February. Will update as we get closer to our wedding date. I needed to rent a tuxedo (jacket, shirt, pants, shoes, pre-tied bowtie, pocket square, studs, and cufflinks) for a formal presentation the following month and didn't know what I wanted. I was given an appropriate recommendation and swiftly had detailed measurements taken. My event was on Friday; Tuesday I received an email so I could schedule the final fitting. I had lost weight between in the month between the measurement and on Wednesday fitting so was suggested that the jacket may be too large. We also discussed if the sleeve length needed to be altered based on my style of presentation--we decided it was good as is. A smaller was shipped to my home Thursday so I could choose (at no extra cost). The smaller jacket was perfect. This was both generous and convenient. Though the parking isn't as bad as others have stated, I didn't have time to drop by to pick up the alternate jacket before my event. I was given a few until Tuesday to return the clothes but elected to return it on Saturday due to my schedule. The tuxedo was a Michael Kors via Jims Formal Wear. It looked great and was comfortable for me to wear all day. For those who care, the pocket square was white polyester. It looked fine but you might want to replace it with something more personal.

When I came to pick up my dress, I tried it on and it wasn't as fitted as I was hoping for. I talked to the owner, Le, and said it wasn't to my satisfaction and he was willing to alter it for no additional charge. I have been to other seamstresses who will charge for additional alterations if you are dissatisfied with their service. Although the alterations were higher than other tailor shops I have gone to, their customer satisfaction compensates for it.
