Noticed that the windshield trim on drivers side was loose and making noise on my 2012 Infiniti FX50 Sport. Was going to bring it to Infiniti to get it fully assessed and fixed but the dealerships outsource this type of thing and I wanted to be sure it was done properly. Scouted around the Northshore looking for someone with a stellar rep and Windshield Pros is who kept coming up as the best rated so I figured I'd give them a try (Lombard). I called and explained the issue and the office manager could not have been more helpful and accommodating (she's definitely a credit to their operation). They squeezed me in 1st thing in the morning next day at their shop and the owner (I believe) himself handled things (personable, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and by all accounts truly trustworthy). He brought me into the shop to explain a few issues after assessment and was able to fix it without needing to replace all of the expensive pieces necessary. I was fully prepared to replace everything and get a new windshield and new trim pieces but after working his magic it turned out to be unnecessary for the time being. Honest, quite knowledgeable, and very good at what they do (also had an opportunity to meet a couple other techs and they were equally savvy, friendly, and obviously knew their trade). The price was more than fair, imho, and frankly I can't think of any reason why I would go anywhere else in the future for any of our 4 vehicles. Iirc, it was Bill Simek who I dealt with and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you, the Lombard front office, and the friendly techs I met. read more

I'm glad I looked at reviews on Yelp before deciding who to hire for my windshield replacement. Bill took about an hour to remove and replace my windshield and paid close attention to details. Even cleaned my dashboard. Excellent work! read more

My car had a stone chip and I took the Acura RSX in for a glass repair and the tech showed me that it had skipped across the windshield and actually made 3 chips. They handled the repair professionally and I appreciated that they were so thorough. They offer mobile service (come to you) and I would have done that if I had known. Obviously, the weather plays a role in whether they can do the repair at your site instead of onsite at their location which is East of IL53/355 and North of IL64/North Ave. read more

AWFUL communication about when they would come. They told me 11-2. At 1:30 I had not heard anything so I called. They were out far from my home and now they didn't know when they would be here. Mind you I had to move work meetings around so that I could be available when they got here. Had they communicated with me about this, I would have been able to plan my day better and be available. Mind you I was already upset as I woke up to find glass shattered everywhere and that my car had been broken into. I'm not upset about the service I can't speak to that. I'm upset that they didn't communicate with me. read more

GREAT experience with Ted from Windshield Pro's today! I had what appeared to be a really deep gouge and crack in my windshield caused by a rock. I wasn't sure it was even going to be able to be repaired. Ted came out, was super friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable with his 20+ years of experience! He immediately made me comfortable with my decision and confident in his ability to fix, what I felt was a HUGE glass chip/crack! Ted did an amazing job and I can barely even tell where this crater once was! I highly recommend Windshield Pro's due to this great experience! read more

Windshield Pros is the company you must use for a windshield replacement. They don't charge extra fees like their major competitor like disposal or on site repair fees. Everyone I talked to at Windshield Pros was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and even scheduling the repair was quick even just days before a major holiday. The price was not 3x more like their competitor was. The price was fair. The installation service was quick and done correctly. Hopefully I'll never have to replace a windshield ever again but unfortunately if I have to for sure I will use Windshield Pros. read more

I had a really nice and pleasant experience today in getting the new windshield from my Hyundai Veracruz. The technician was very smart, knowledgeable and helpful and answered all my questions about product quality the installation, process, noise, isolation and recalibration. He came early to the appointment and was ready to go as soon as I got there. He even moved my camera I pass and my car wash sticker from the old windshield to the new one. It's refreshing to see this kind of above and beyond service in the automotive services industry and keep it up. read more

Windshield Pros came recommended by a coworker and they did not disappoint! They open at 7am which is very helpful when trying to balance a full time job. I stopped by their shop to just ask a question after a bird flew into my windshield at 55 mph and after a brief interaction with the office staff and installer I knew this place was the right fit for me. They knew what they were talking about and delivered. They even dropped me off at work so they could have my windshield repaired that day! I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my vehicles and I can't even tell my F-150 had a replacement windshield installed. It's been through multiple rainstorms and a car wash with no issues. Thank you Windshield Pros! read more

I had a great experience with the people at the Lombard office. I spoke to Hannah and she was absolutely sweet and really helpful as I had been screwed by Safelite twice and was fed up with them. She worked with me and allowed me to come in and use their office so I could work while my windshield was being replaced. Bill did it and he was very thorough and walked with me around the front of the car and went over everything. And I saved over $125! Safelite would have cost me $125 roughly more and would have gotten it from me had they not keep screwing up my appointment. Worked out best for me as they were fantastic to deal with. I will go back to them again. They have other locations but I will go to the Lombard office as they were such a pleasure to deal with. read more

Needed a new windshield on a Honda Pilot. Windshield Pros was able to beat every other competitor's price by over $100. They coordinated the replacement to occur in my work parking lot while I was in the office. I provided my credit card information prior to the service and they came and replaced the windshield in less than an hour and then charged my account exactly what they quoted. I never actually met/saw any of the technicians in-person, which made the process very simple. The new windshield is great and secure. This was the easiest car service project I've ever experienced. Thanks Windshield Pros! You're number has been saved in my phone and I'll referring you to people in the future. read more

Had a nice rock pop up the other day and crack the windshield on my Corvette. Luckily I have insurance and they recommended Windshield Pros. Gave them a call and spoke to Lisa who got me a next day appointment at my house. Perfect. Jim arrived on time and was very nice. I knew I was leaving my car in good hands. He found a small imperfection in the glass he brought so he ran back over to the supplier and brought a fresh piece of glass. Now I have a perfect windshield without any hassle or issues. Thanks guys! read more

If you need your glass work done on your car than I would take it to Windshield Pros in Lombard. Lisa was great to work with concerning my broken front windshield. She explained the process to me concerning the replacement and recalibration of the technology in the front windshield . Lisa also worked with my insurance company. Lisa told me that they would replace my windshield with a Honda accord windshield from the dealer. They did not use an after market windshield and I have a lifetime warranty on the windshield for leaks and installation. You can have them come to your home , workplace or have it installed at their facility. . I had the windshield replaced at their facility in Lombard and their technician Bill did a great job in the installation. The recalibration was done onsite and was also guaranteed. Do not let any window repair company that you will not need recalibration after they remove your window . Recalibration has to be done ! Quick pricing give and they were able to schedule me the next day. Did an amazing job with my windshield and got me going about my day. Hannah was super sweet and helpful. I would recommend to anyone. No BS pricing like some of the other company's and the least expensive I found for paying for it myself, not through insurance. read more

Fast service, excellent work. Called Monday afternoon, had windshield replaced Wed Morning. Darlene was pleasant and profeesional, took the info needed, contacted & set up conference call with insurance company to get the claim filed. Called to let me know when to expect technician. Timely, excellent communication, professional. Bill did my windshield and I even got to see how it was done, and he explained everything and did TERRIFIC work. They came straight to my home and did it here and their price was under everybody! Stupid rock flew up and chipped my windshield which then spidered. If I could give 20 stars I would. Obviously I hope I don't need to use them again, but if I ever did, I would definitely use this company and highly recommend them! read more

Very impressive from start to finish. Stopped by the Lombard facility to get my 2018 Honda Odyssey quoted. The front office staff was extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Took only a few minutes to confirm my insurance information and that the new windshield would be available. They said they would call me two days later when the windshield had been delivered and they did. We scheduled the repair at their shop, and when I dropped the van off the office staff was again great and the technician Bill was simply awesome in his explanation of things (and his overall demeanor and humor!). He did a great job, even put my "next oil change" sticker onto the new windshield. Absolutely no scuffs or scratches, in fact it all looked exactly the same except the cracks were gone. Hugely recommended. read more

Was shopping around for a windshield replacement and found these guys because they are in my neighborhood. I was in and out so quickly and when I was waiting they were calling people to make sure their customers were happy. Reviews are so important now to any business and I want to compliment this company accordingly I needed my tires replaced as well and was referred to another company to replace my tires per their recommendation. I try helping small business's. Covid has hit everyone hard and I'm glad I can contribute to small local businesses when I can. Their prices were competitive and I was treated very well. read more

Had Bill replace my windshield today, and man I couldn't be happier. He was in and out in a matter of here, there, and gone. Quick great work. I'd expect having a 1994 and having old parts and rusted and corroded bolts and trim pieces come out broken but no he did everything perfect, not a bolt broken, not a trim piece left cracked, not even finger prints left on the vehicle. Thanks to bill and his expertise im now on the road! read more

I had a rock hit my windshield during a road trip. By the time I arrived home it was huge. Windshield Pros was recommended to me by someone I know in the car business. Having had 2 bad experiences with Safelite over the years, I called them right away. They came the next day with a Windshield made by Ford. They explained the process and did a great job replacing the windshield. They were reasonably priced and to top it off, they were nice too!! I highly recommend them. read more

I had a chip in my windshield that I needed repaired and after calling for a quick price estimate they were able to schedule me for the very next morning. Once I arrived I was greeted by their friendly staff and my car was immediately attended to. The repair took less than half an hour and turned out great! The price was unbeatable compared to some of the other quotes I got from the "big-name" companies out there. Not only was the service and price great but they also informed me that if a crack did happen to develop from the spot of the repair (highly unlikely) that they would credit the initial price I paid towards a new windshield. You have to love an honest company that doesn't try to price gouge or double charge you. Definitely would recommend! read more

SO very happy with my service. Everyone was so polite. I had previously dealt with a company who was not helpful in any way and immediately cancelled my request. After being put in a bad mood this company was helpful in every way. Very passionate about their work and I will refer them more clients! Hopefully I will never need their assistance given the business(smashed windshields), but wouldn't think twice about being a returning customer. It was quick efficient work. And I was satisfied with the friendly assistance. They informed me properly on how to take care of my windshield and I am just over the moon with this entire experience. 10/10 would recommend over other big companies who do not seem to care if they lose business or not. Not to mention this was done the same day I called. Thanks Crew! You guys ROCK. :) this was also taken care of in Wheaton IL. not sure how to change my location. read more
