Is it unreasonable to expect new windows to be cleaned and fingerprint free? After a couple of other quotes we selected Windows Plus. The windows from Windows Plus gave us more window than the competitors. We did not have to order all new blinds where we would have needed to with the other local options. Unfortunately my husband and I had to leave out of the state for a family emergency. We were available for the first day installation but could not be here for the entire installation. No, my husband nor I could not have waited to leave. My brother in-law was available for the rest of the installation. Personally I prefer to have all work inspected prior to final Payout but could not leave that responsibility to another person. We arrived back home a week after the windows were installed. Once I started inspecting the windows I immediately messaged the company. After several emails and pictures sent showing some of the problems an appointment was made for two representatives to come out and inspect. Let's just say every window had some problem (gaps in the frames, a spot visible to the eye in between the glass panel, missing screen, poor screening, missing screen nut, frames cut too short, damaged decorative wood window trim ....) in addition to each window would need to be cleaned. The window installers were very nice and courteous when we were here the first day. They were very mindful of our cat who often likes to "escape" to be chased around the yard. One of our half moon shaped windows were being changed into a rectangle casing window. It turned out beautiful with the exception of the vinyl framing on the outside where there was a gap. Extremely long strand shortened - most issues primarily the blatant ones have been resolved. We still need to clean all our new windows. read more

I called and asked for an estimate. Jim came to our home on September 30, took our information for the quote, and indicated it may take a day to get it via email. Since we didn't hear any more from Jim, on October 2 I sent a follow-up message to him via email - no response. On October 7 I sent another follow-up message to Jim via text message - no response. I suspect that he didn't like the fact that we weren't thrilled with their choice of installers. I would not recommend this company. If Windows Plus decided they didn't want our business, they should have let us know. read more

BUYER BEWARE! If I could give them negative stars, I would. This company and those they hire are quite possibly the most inept bunch of individuals that you could ever have in your home (or hire). The sales guy is competent, but that's about it. Today is the FOURTH DAY they will be here to work on the windows. And that's just installation. Two of those days they "had to leave [mid-job] to work on another job." Add on to that a sales call and a separate measurement call, we're now up to SIX days that they've been here. The installation crew told us it would take one entire day (on the first day). How we're up to FOUR installation days now, I have no idea. I've never in my life dealt with a company who will leave an active job site, "for another job." During install on the first day, a three man crew arrived completely unprepared. They brought windows that had structural problems and other damage, lacked proper install equipment on their truck, etc. They didn't even properly seal or insulate the windows! They left a wooden door (with a new window) in a box out in the rain overnight, despite also leaving a locked enclosed trailer in the driveway. The workmanship of the windows themselves, is garbage and frankly these (allegedly "triple pane") windows are worse than what we had before! How is that even possible?! Multiple of the windows they made, were incorrectly manufactured based on WindowsPlus' own measurements. Of course, they started work during winter, so that made the lack of insulation even worse. What should've taken A DAY is now on DAY 4 over a series of months. Every time, we have to rearrange everything and wait for them to show up in a 4 hour window with NO call ahead. We've resorted to putting small pipe cleaners in the frames of the windows to try and make them seal correctly. Windows Plus definitely isn't the "cheap" option, nor are the actual windows we chose inexpensive. Yet still, somehow the workmanship of their products aren't even bare-bones functional and their installation is embarrassingly incompetent. I can hear highway traffic at night in my bedroom after they installed 2 windows in it, which according to them is "just the way it is." They caused damage to the side and footboard of my bedframe and despite my watching them do it and asking them to please be more careful, they refused to take responsibility or pay for the damage to my home items. They leave their work stuff EVERYWHERE and don't wear foot protectors to keep house floors from damage. BUYER BEWARE! I wouldn't use Windows Plus again if they were the last window place on earth. read more

Windows Plus installed all new windows in my home and I was a little surprised when only one installer showed up but Vance the installer did a great job! He was on time, he was efficient, he was polite and helpful and I was very impressed by his work ethic! I felt comfortable from the beginning when I worked with Rick the salesman and knowing their company is a family business and Christian company! The installers were by far the best part of my dealings with this company. They came on time. They quietly went about doing what needed to be done. Before they left they cleaned up to such an extent that it looked as though they'd not been here. The rest of my dealings were far from satisfactory. I would not recommend them. read more

I wanted to replace a 60 year old picture window and was very fearful of what it might cost. I met a sales rep from Windows Plus, at a trade show and decided to get a quote. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable this project was. I thought the value was tremendous, and more importantly, the project went smoothly. One of the best experiences I have had with contractors. Had almost all my windows replaced in the past year and am happy with them. But what makes this company a standout is their customer service. I was lucky enough to get Eric Cone as the sales rep and he has made sure everything has gone smoothly. Worked around some special issues as if it were no problem. They are always friendly and helpful, honest and they deliver what they say. Chuck can solve any installation challenge, and stayed till 8pm making sure the installation was correct. Michael has helped us with the sales side of things and he is super responsive, very professional and so helpful. Its been a pleasure having him in our home. Ordered custom patio door. Installation was unorganized and delayed. Communication poor. The door actually turned out well after waiting way too long, mess up on measurement, not showing for install appt.. And leaving equipment in driveway for days. The two owners personally came to my house and agreed that there were a couple of problems that needed to be addressed. We chose Windows Plus to replace our front entry door and sidelights after meeting with Mike Goldschmidt earlier in the year. Mike is very knowledgeable on the product and installation performed by the company and a really nice guy on top of it. Our door was installed on Tuesday, 4/21 and there are two issues with it. We ordered custom casing and only part of it showed up the day of installation and the Dentil Shelf was missing on the door, which was clearly ordered on the contract. According to what Mike told me everything was ordered, so I was expecting a call to have the rest completed. That was not the case. Instead of dealing with one person on it I've dealt with two and each one being on a different page than the other with varying information on what could have happened. We came together on it and resolution is supposed to be in 2-3 weeks as of last Wednesday, 4/29. We were told the installers, who did a great job by the way, have no idea what they leave the shop with, so quality control is lacking with Windows Plus and Provia. Both missed it, so for 2-3 weeks we get to look at staples, old casing and the rest of the trim missing between the door and sidelights until the material arrives. The issue is one thing, but the response is another. A lot of confusion seen on their end. We expected better. Hopefully the review increases from here. read more
