I would give 0 stars if I could. We had windows and a sliding door installed months ago. Upon install the lock on the door was damaged. The service guys apparently ordered a new one and it's been a nightmare. This was in January, part is expected in May and we still can't get customer service to call us back - mind you it's June! I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy. No one should use Window Nation. If this review keeps one person from going through this it's worth it. This happened to my friend: My experience with Window Nation has been a nightmare to say the least.   Bob Miller was our sales rep, we were going to decide between Window Nation and another company, which your company was more expensive.   What sold us on Window Nation was that through their financing we did not have to make a payment for 6 months which doing  a large remodel, that was a bonus.       I received an alert about the payment due, I called Bob and he was like "no that is wrong, you don't have to make a payment until June".  I went ahead and set up payment anyway to get to working on paying them off.   I noticed I had two missed payments on my credit history, one from January and one from February.  I called and come to find out he was wrong, it was not no payments for 6 months, it is zero percent interest for 6 months.     I also was unaware that it was a third party financing, to which I can only give my bank account and routing numbers to pay, which I like to use my credit cards to get points and rewards.  When I went to look at my payment history I noticed I had been charged interest every month since January.   So what exactly is the program I am in?  Bob couldn't seem to provide me with that answer nor could Kevin or Josh.  Kevin and Josh seem to be "higher ups" in the company, yet never seem prepared or even educated as to what the situation was  when one the phone they just kept passing the buck onto Greensky which is their third party finance company.  Window Nation uses Greensky, but yet neither of them can communicate with one another.    When asked what program I am in, they just said you will have to contact Greensky, yet Window Nation is whom sold it to me, told me it was no payment, then told me it was no interest, yet I have both, with a hit on my credit because of misinformation.    This entire experience has been a nightmare, I would have went with the other company had I not been misinformed.  The other company was $4000 more, but that was for 14 windows, which I got 4 with Window Nation.  The whole experience has been a nightmare.  They sell on false information, they are unprofessional and uneducated when it comes to customer service.  I do not recommend using this company, there are better priced companies out there.   I absolutely do not recommend using their financing!!!!! read more

Got on their website to receive a quote for windows, and received 9 phone calls within a 2 hour span from 9 different people. I've blocked numerous numbers but the calls continue. This is a terrible business model. I would never consider using them after that experience and I didn't even get the chance to talk to a representative. read more

We recently replaced all of our windows and sliding glass doors with Windows Nation. The sliding glass doors are extremely difficult to lock--the latch won't turn unless one person pushes the door with significant force while the other turns the lock. We have repeatedly contacted the main customer service line, and they continue to tell us that the local St. Louis office will reach out. They never do. When we try calling the local office ourselves, no one answers or returns our messages. This has been going on for over two months. For the price we paid, the product quality and customer service are very disappointing. At this point, we are considering getting quotes from other vendors and returning the product altogether. read more

I received a quote to replace the windows in my house. The salesperson came to my house and wrote up the quote and it started at $84,000!! When I told them that I wasn't prepared to spend that much money on my windows. He said that he had a discount that he could give me. I told him it was still more than I was planning to spend. Then he came up with another discount. This happened 4 or 5 times. Then the price was down to around $27,000 for the exact same windows that we started with. By that time, he had lost me with this sales tactic and I wasn't going to buy anything from them. I don't appreciate this type of sales process at all! read more

After signing a contract in April, we're still waiting on a sliding glass screen door. We already had to wait months for the sliding door itself, and when the installers finally arrived--after repeatedly telling us the door had been sent to the wrong Window Nation facility and they had to reorder it-- they showed up without the screen door. Now we're being told the same story again: the screen door was shipped to the wrong location and has to be reordered. I've lost count of how many times we've heard this excuse. We honored our side of the contract; this company does not honor theirs. Do not purchase from this company! Something is not right there. The sales person, Peter, was amazing. However, when it came to installation, the guy decided to talk back to my dad, whom was paying for the windows. When the supervisor got there, the supervisor was also very rude. The installation was done very poorly. We just got our house done and painted and when putting in the windows they removed the trim on all of them so the paint chipped off. They did not offer to fix this for us, so now we have to get this fixed. read more

WARNING: If you are looking for a window company in St. Louis, look elsewhere!!! Ok, so here is the story of our experience with Window Nation from Sales to Customer Service to Installation. It all started with Sales, which the sales guy (Stephen B.) was inappropriate, vulgar, and threw out multiple sexist comments that made my wife feel uncomfortable. We had heard great stories from others about this consultation and wow, were we shocked. Despite this, they did give us a good deal, we liked their windows, and PROMISED they would have our windows installed in 8 weeks max. All of that sounded good so we moved forward and signed. Fast-forward 2 weeks and we finally get someone out to measure our windows. 3 weeks later, we received a call that they had to come back out because they had to confirm the windows were measured correctly... So we are 5 weeks into this disaster and we finally talk with a MGR (Jessica) who was nice and very solution-based. She was good but at the end of the day, had to escalate to their regional MGR who did give us a small discount BUT said that because St. Louis is a new hub, they are still ironing things out. Unfortunately at this point, they could only promise that our windows would be installed by September/October (15 Weeks after we signed the agreement). Installation - Fast forward to October and a crew of three guys finally comes out to the house and is ready to go. They complete 21 windows in 2 days and did an OK job. They were thorough in making sure the windows themselves were good to go but we had multiple items including damage to our sills, walls, and floors. (see images) Service and Ongoing - Now that we are 6 months into having the windows, we have ongoing issues and can't get anyone on the phone here locally. Are windows actually accumulated ICE on the inside when we had cold temps recently and caused sill damage in our basement. Also, the damage to all our sills is just incredible as there is now more of a draft in our house than with our old windows!!! I have now called 4 times and all I get with the St. Louis office is an answering machine. I called corporate and they even said they can't get ahold of anyone or they are at lunch, which is just ridiculous. My advice to you is use Window World or someone else. Just read this and run the other way as it has been a nightmare for us and if you are going to spend $17k+, give it to another company who is going to earn your business and treat you as a good customer. read more

BEWARE! Worst company I have ever dealt with! Would give them 0 stars if possible! Sell you into windows with a CONTRACT. Once windows are installed they are completely different quality than shown and warranty for windows and screens do not match that of the contract signed. The windows are so terrible that my bill was higher than my prior 36yr old windows. Came out and checked- leaking air everywhere. Replaced stripping with "better quality." Spoke with manager numerous times regarding warranty- rude and not knowledgeable at all. States salesman were unaware of policy change. Still no answer as to what my warranty actually is...thankfully I have a copy of the signed contract! This on top of so many other issues. A one day job (4 windows) took two days. Employees made/left a mess and smoked while literally hanging outside my window while it was out (getting smoke into my house). Complete hoosiers! Went back and forth for almost a YEAR regarding issues of air leaking through, broken screens put up, wrong size windoe, and warranty clarification. My kitchen window was taken out prior to triple checking the measurements. Turns out the window ledge had a big hole (not long enough). They continued to install it and not say a word knowing damn well the window was the wrong size (sliding window). It was letting so much air in I noticed it and it had to be replaced. Sorry I ever got involved with Window nation they managed to damaged the outside window sills but also the inside window sills. They had someone come and look at the damaged and said they could not match them then he showed me a picture on his phone the size of a dime, that this is as close as we can get. The picture was so small you could not even tell how close it was. They told me they where lifetime guarantee but once I paid they are only 5 years on labor. When I got ready to sign the contract the price went up buy 2K. So now I am getting bids to fix the damage they did, so I paid for the windows and then to fix the damage they did. They will give you a number to call if you have any issues but that is just a waste of time. Thank god they don't make there own window because I am contacting the window manufacturer to see if another company will honor the warranty. My windows are fine that were installed by window nation thus far. However, I was promised a 8/7 night condo family vacation since my husband and I purchased a complete home installation of 14 windows. The company that Window Nation partners with "Ettsi" they appear to be a dishonest scheme so far. Since November, 2022 I have been trying to book our family vacation for July, 2023. Every time I call they give me the runaround. They state "we will email your condo availability options by the end of today. They also say we are looking into availability, it will post on Friday. But, days and weeks continue to past by. We didn't mind paying a few thousand dollars more for our windows because we took into account that we would have a family vacation and that could offset our 2023 vacation expenses. Perhaps, Window Nation need to investigate more the company's that they partner with for customer promotional bonuses. At this point, I could've gone bonuses. At this point, I could've gone through Home Depot or Lowes and still had money to pay our own condo vacation. The company "Ettsi" has horrible horrible reviews. I feel like a reputable business such as Window Nation should consider who they have partnerships with and advocate for its customers. Linda Update, later today...Window Nation advertisement to me in my home was that the 8/7 nights would cost $249 or $399 per week for the condo which I agreed to. Now, the Ettsi stated that my condo will be $1649 for the week not including taxes or resort fees. This is absolutely horrible. I feel like I have been heavily persuaded to purchase via Window Nation due to their promotion of a free Vacation. I could've went on Expedia, Book it or Price line or AIRbnb for way less. It's a shame that companies scam innocent people and promote shady companies in order to gain business. read more

Some companies are either too stupid or arrogant to realize the person making the appointment signs all contracts and pays the bills. We used Window Nation and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. We ordered in August and were told installation would be in October. Well, after much harping and arguing, we didn't get them until December 28th and 29th. They sent a ragtag crew who installed nothing but damaged or scratched windows...EVERY WINDOW had a problem! I have spent the last 3.5 months trying to get them here to fix them and install the 1 window they couldn't seem to manufacture in 8 months and they were supposed to be here today between 8 and 11...NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO ANYTHING! I explained I just wanted an estimate for replacement of my windows he proceeded to give a long winded and elaborate presentation that in the end I had lost interest in. then came the quote which was very high but hold on he said I can call my manager and see what we can do... came back and amazingly he could give me 60% off of the whole order only while he was there... when I explained my husband and I would have to talk about the quote he kept pressuring me wanting to know how our conversation would go I finally had to tell him that was between us and not him. they did not leave any brochures or the formal quote just his card with the amount on it...... We just had a quote on the windows because they were offering buy 2 get 2 free plus no payment or interest for 24 months. The salesman came out and the quote for 12 windows was for almost 15,000 which included the sale! We were then told if we signed that day we would get an additional 1,000 off the price. We originally agreed. Then after they left, we felt we were pressured and did not want to make that kind of investment. We reached out and they were able to drop the price another 4,000. Shocking. We agreed but then got another quote and it was lower. I reached out to them and asked if they could compete with the price. Following day I received a phone call from sales manager saying he was done, because he reached out once to help and we did not keep our word and he canceled the contract for us. So glad he did. We realized it's a gimmick to get in your door and high pressure to sign that day. If they are so confident in their product and price, why the pressure to sign right then. They should welcome the competition! read more
