The sales person, Peter, was amazing. However, when it came to installation, the guy decided to talk back to my dad, whom was paying for the windows. When the supervisor got there, the supervisor was also very rude. The installation was done very poorly. We just got our house done and painted and when putting in the windows they removed the trim on all of them so the paint chipped off. They did not offer to fix this for us, so now we have to get this fixed.

Floor damage to my hardwood floors.

WARNING: If you are looking for a window company in St. Louis, look elsewhere!!! Ok, so here is the story of our experience with Window Nation from Sales to Customer Service to Installation. It all started with Sales, which the sales guy (Stephen B.) was inappropriate, vulgar, and threw out multiple sexist comments that made my wife feel uncomfortable. We had heard great stories from others about this consultation and wow, were we shocked. Despite this, they did give us a good deal, we liked their windows, and PROMISED they would have our windows installed in 8 weeks max. All of that sounded good so we moved forward and signed. Fast-forward 2 weeks and we finally get someone out to measure our windows. 3 weeks later, we received a call that they had to come back out because they had to confirm the windows were measured correctly... So we are 5 weeks into this disaster and we finally talk with a MGR (Jessica) who was nice and very solution-based. She was good but at the end of the day, had to escalate to their regional MGR who did give us a small discount BUT said that because St. Louis is a new hub, they are still ironing things out. Unfortunately at this point, they could only promise that our windows would be installed by September/October (15 Weeks after we signed the agreement). Installation - Fast forward to October and a crew of three guys finally comes out to the house and is ready to go. They complete 21 windows in 2 days and did an OK job. They were thorough in making sure the windows themselves were good to go but we had multiple items including damage to our sills, walls, and floors. (see images) Service and Ongoing - Now that we are 6 months into having the windows, we have ongoing issues and can't get anyone on the phone here locally. Are windows actually accumulated ICE on the inside when we had cold temps recently and caused sill damage in our basement. Also, the damage to all our sills is just incredible as there is now more of a draft in our house than with our old windows!!! I have now called 4 times and all I get with the St. Louis office is an answering machine. I called corporate and they even said they can't get ahold of anyone or they are at lunch, which is just ridiculous. My advice to you is use Window World or someone else. Just read this and run the other way as it has been a nightmare for us and if you are going to spend $17k+, give it to another company who is going to earn your business and treat you as a good customer.

The Founders, Harley and Aaron Magden. Starting w the 2 of them in 2006, we are 500+ strong & the 5th largest window replacement company.

After a successful and responsive refinishing project I had high hopes for painting of my interior…read morehome. All started well enough, and we got things started. I was under the impression that these were direct employees of his, his crew. Basically he was acting as a general contractor that hired another company or hired some people looking for work. Not really sure here. I realize I made some changes, but they were clear and written in a revised proposal. I didn't want the doors painted, then I got a phone call that they were painted. Sure, he didn't charge me for this, but that is proper after all. I didn't want the trim painted, and paid for that, because I missed it in the proposal. My fault. They also painted the hardware for opening/closing the windows, those were metal and need the proper paint, I did have them take that off. The house didn't have flooring in, so I was asked about drop cloths, I said use them but don't worry too much about a few paint splatters. However, I did indicate that I wasn't removing the slate flooring and to be careful. Here is a big fail, many paint spots. He tried to have them clean it up. Now the floor is sticky, you can here the soles of your shoes and feel it too. He tried cleaning that up, when it wasn't done, he offered to do it again. I really felt he had done enough. I'm still trying to find a way to clean this up, because it's sticky any dust or what not sticks to it. It's really upsetting, as I loved this detail. I will look to bring in some professionals and see what this will set me back. There's also spots on the bathroom floors, which were also said that I wasn't removing. And those doors that were painted, they weren't dry and were closed, now that paint has popped off, so I have to touch that up, or maybe just start replacing doors. I realize also this review is a year since the work was done, I was in the middle of doing the rest of the work this last year. I almost considered them for doing the kitchen rehab. I really feel I dodged a bullet there. Noah, is a nice man, I think his intentions are good. However, the whole interior project was a mess, left me very frustrated, and I have projects left to do because of it. I don't think he checked up on the work as it was being done, and I don't think he looked at it after until I contacted him. Paint shouldn't have been on that slate, nor should you stick to your floor. I also had to point on paint spots on light fixtures, that should've been cleaned. Just no.

Overall, I highly recommend MyHouse, and they're the only contracting and construction company I will be using from now on!
