I have had hurricane windows installed by another company at a different location and, while they were very good, they were not as good as the professionals at W&D. Fom Andrew Barone in sales helping to pick the right product, to the final conclusion with Project Manager Patrick McClellan, everything went smoothly. Perhaps most importanly was the actual work done by the crew lead by Nasal. The crew was neat, efficient, professional and respectful. The window and slider work was meticulous and the clean up was just as good. All the permitting and inspections went flawlessly with no effort by us, the customer. The installation team of Jr3G is what made this a good experience. If we have additional doors and windows installed in the future we'll only request this team to handle the installation again. They're probably hands down the best contractors we've had with any of our home projects. On time each day and worked very efficiently to complete the job in a timely manner. They were very particular with keeping things clean during and after the job was complete. They take great pride in their skilled labor. As for the windows. We're happy with them but the primary reason for the purchase was to drown out as much road noise from the turnpike as possible. It did help some and although I know you're not going to eliminate it all together, I would of hoped to had a little better results. The windows and doors look great and it'll give us the storm protection we were lacking but I'll continue the search for something with a higher STC rating in the future. I was impressed with their customer service and there price was competitive. I honestly do not know where to begin with this review. We contracted with WDRC in May of 2019 to replace all of the existing windows in our condominium with hurricane safe windows. We chose WDRC despite the fact that they were by far the most expensive quote we received. They were a full $15,000 over our next closest quote!! They assured me that their products were far superior in terms of looks and quality and safety. They had excellent reviews, and since windows are a long-term investment, we decided this would be money well spent. I was so convinced that I also got my in-laws to use their services. Right off the bat there were issues since, for reasons I have yet to understand, the address that the check needs to go to is not the address on their letterhead. This resulted in a lost check, a delay and a stop-payment charge by my bank. We got that squared away, and I thought we were on our way. The windows were ordered and installed, however there were missing parts. Since then I have been jerked around endlessly. In December of 2019 I was told that one part arrived and the others would be there shortly. Literally, every time I have called since then I am told the exact same thing and given a new estimated date. It is now two years and 4 months later and I STILL DO NOT HAVE ALL OF THE PARTS INSTALLED AND STILL DO NOT HAVE A FINAL SIGN OFF! My in-laws had issues with major delays as well, and the door to their balcony still doesn't stay closed without a chair in front of it!! All of my contact people have since left. It's a different person each time who gives me a different delivery day. (Keep in mind, this started way before COVID, so that excuse doesn't work.) I am at my wits end with no end in sight other than to consider legal action to compel performance. To be continued. In any event, STAY AWAY!!! read more

We just got our windows and doors put in and can't be happier! They are beautiful! The installers, 3G were fantastic! Our project was more difficult than a normal project as we replaced double windows with a sliding glass door in our living area. The trash was removed, plastic covering to the ceiling, debris was sweep up constantly . I would recommend Windows and Doors Replacement company to anyone that is interested in replacing windows and doors. The project manager and 3 G's installers worked extremely well together and project manager stayed on the job to make all went well. Project manager kept us informed at all times on what to expect. Someone came to my house (had to call twice to schedule) to measure. Spent all of 15-20 minutes measuring and then asked me if I had any questions. I was somewhat stunned as the two other vendors I'd met with spent at least 1 1/2-2 hours going over products asking questions, taking notes and measuring. The rep suggested I visit their showroom, which I did. Another rep showed me around and answered my questions. When the rep that came to my house was free, he came over and we talked about what I was looking to do and said he would have a quote to me by the end of the week. We had "new" French doors two sets installed last August. I should have known to cancel the order go somewhere else when the sales guy and to come remeasure three times. The staff turnover at this company is just one of the many issues we had. The doors where installed wrong, warped and wouldn't work right. It took us until Last week (now April) 8 months to get them fixed.... and guess what.... now one doesn't lock at all. Trying to get anyone to call me back speak with a manager is impossible. They also screwed up a window install at my moms condo. I could go on and on... I finally just spent even more money to have a contractor come fix the doors. I set up an appointment for a sales rep to come to my home and give me a quote for replacing every window in my house with impact windows. At 25+ windows/40+ openings it's a decent sized job and all quotes from other companies have been in the $35-45K range. The guy that came out measured everything and then proceeded to kind of blow off my questions as though he were in a rush. I asked about making changes to the current style and he just said "I'll just quote you for what you have now and we can deal with it later." When he left (on a TUESDAY) he said, and I quote: "I'm totally slammed right now but I'll try to get you a quote by the end of the week or the weekend. If for some reason you don't hear from me by the weekend, you've got my card, just shoot me a text or an email with a quick reminder." I did not remind him and it is now Friday of the FOLLOWING week and not a word from him. We have obviously chosen another company that wanted our business. read more
