Indeed, the backstory of Passarelli's paints the establishment as a consistently relevant brand, showing up at fairs and events for 30+ years. Website: 4/5 It is very easy to navigate, with an introduction to the mascot (of course, while it worked against the Brand, it does work for the Website; almost as though he invites you in). While it can use some updating, it is still pretty decent to navigate. Ambiance: 5/5 You do have the option to either sit at the picnic tables or one of the benches. I typically use my waiting time efficiently by writing in my business journal, so I chose the picnic table in a spot where I was not too much of a nuisance to the other customers. I will say that these choices in seats work for the establishment. There was also a platform for condiments consisting of ketchup, mayonnaise, sriracha, and napkins. While people might get frustrated with the presence of big trucks, they did not bother me (even when they honked to each other). Service: 5/5 I did remind Passarelli working there at that time and day that he forgot the water bottle I ordered, he gave me one without controversy. Wait Time: 4/5 Passarelli could have used extra help especially during lunch hour, since my order did come a little later than expected. Since there were customers waiting who ordered their meals before I even arrived, I cannot fault the establishment for a later-than-expected wait time, and so the wait time gets a favorable-enough rating. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Italian Hot Dog, which contained two hot dogs, peppers, onions, cut potatoes, and spicy mustard, and a water bottle. I will say that as the well-prepared steam effused from my order, I will say that the form held well enough for the first half of the eating course. It also did not have too much grease that broke the buns or the cardboard basket apart. The most profound taste came from the mustard. You could tell that it is not store-bought, for it had a sharp zest to it. The cut potatoes did have too much crispiness to them, but not enough to lower the score. Finishing it definitely satisfied me, although I did feel slightly underwhelmed, for my order was not as filling as I hoped it would. The service, wait times, and overall cleanliness were all extremely disappointing. When my friends and I arrived, there was a sign asking guests to wait to be seated, so we did. After about 10 minutes of standing there without anyone acknowledging us, despite making eye contact with multiple employees, we finally asked a server if we should just seat ourselves. She responded with a rude "yes." We went to the back room to find a table and ended up choosing the only one that felt clean enough to sit at, as most of the others still had not been cleared or wiped down from previous customers. It then took another 15-20 minutes before a server came to our table, and close to 30 minutes just to receive chips and guacamole. Our entrees arrived roughly 45-60 minutes later, which honestly felt lucky considering the table next to us, who had three small children, had apparently been waiting nearly two hours for their food. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We came on Cinco de Mayo and expected it to be busy, but long waits don't excuse poor service and lack of cleanliness.
