The flowers from this shop are always exquisite and beautifully arranged. They have unique things and will tailor your order to your requests. "Teenager" or "no pink" or "something crazy"--they always hit the mark! And the add in products (lotion, pottery) make it even more special. They have a great selection of plants and succulents. read more

This afternoon we stopped in at Windham Flowers to pick up a last minute bouquet of flowers, and have to say that we enjoyed the store overall. This shop has a ton of beautiful plants and flowers! The amount of unique plants they have is incredible, and the team here does an amazing job of taking care of these plants. The staff here is extremely polite and knowledgeable! We asked them a ton of different questions about their products, and they were more than willing to provide us the answers we were looking for. This shop also has a lot of great gift ideas. These include beeswax candles, as well as different types of natural lotions and scrubs. They also had cute cards that were included with the price of the arrangement you bought. One critique that I have about this store is that the prices for their merchandise was a bit high in comparison to other florists in the area. In the past we have spent a similar amount of money on an arrangement at another location in town, and have received a much larger bouquet. The other minor critique that left us feeling a bit off-put was when the florist finished our arrangement. Instead of handing the arrangement to us she placed is on the counter and walked away without saying anything. This was frustrating because we would have appreciated the ability to thank her instead of her dumping the flowers and moving on. Luckily the employee watering the plans saw us waiting and came over to hand us the flowers. read more

This store is among a very few in Brattleboro that understand's customer service and public relations as essential business concepts. A few years ago our dog died on Good Friday. It was devastating. On Easter morning, a car pulled in to our driveway. It was the owner of Windham Flowers bringing us a gorgeous Easter Lily sent by friends in Boston, in memory of our beloved dog. I mean how many business owners would personally deliver on a major Holiday (especially a luxury item)? We have been loyal cusotmers ever since, whether flowers for a party or just stopping in this lovely shop to pick up a greeting card, buy a new plant, or stand quietly and take in the smell of a very lovely flower shop. In addition to sophisticated flower design, Windham Flowers' business savvy is top-notch! read more

I ordered flowers to thank someone really special for their immense kindness and she posted me a video message of the flowers she received. Wow, wow, wow! They were SO beautiful! Every business should use Windham Flowers as the benchmark. I called them from overseas, since my mom was getting surgery at Brattleboro Memorial. They had what I wanted (a flowering plant), and took my details down. I went to sleep. When I woke up, I found an email that said that my card had been declined, but they had SENT THE FLOWERS ANYWAY, and would I please call them back with the correct card info. I was ASTONISHED. I suppose they knew where my mother was, and had my email address, but still... Needless to say I called them back the next day, got them the right card info, and thanked them profusely. I have never met these people, and probably never will. But based on this experience I wish I could. P.S. My mother LOVED the orchids -- beautifully, nicely potted, delivered ontime, with the right card, and all for a very reasonable price. read more

I can't say enough about Windham flowers, Sally and her staff. Our daughter was recently married and we used Windham Flowers for all of the bouquets, corsages and centerpieces. all were beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

Sally and her crew at Windham Flowers were a dream to work with and made our wedding day flowers look spectacular. We worked together looking at colors and styles until she knew exactly what I wanted...and stayed within my budget. She took the time to walk me through several options and we went through a few substitutions as we came closer to the date and knew what was available. She even made a "tester" centerpiece for me so I knew exactly what I was getting. I was able to use my own centerpiece containers and she was very flexible about renting the larger ones for the alter. The flowers were beyond fresh and lasted for several weeks after the wedding. I brought my bouquet on my honeymoon because I just couldn't bare to leave it at home! The bouquets were also the PERFECT size (which can be a problem, I've learned!). I recommend Windham Flowers highly and with total confidence. Ultimate in professionalism, artistry, and excellence! THANK YOU! read more

This place is getting my flower business from now on! I have tried several different florists in Brattleboro. My Mom lives there and I prefer to use local florists. We had a wonderful time working with Windham Flowers for our September 2014 wedding! It was extremely easy to schedule a time to go into the shop (even on Saturdays) and they are always available to run ideas by over the phone. The centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres were exactly what we discussed (and smelled incredible). It was by far one of my favorite parts of planning the wedding- the staff are incredibly talented and knowledgeable about flowers and create such beautiful arrangements based on a few ideas I tried to communicate. We re-used the centerpieces at the Goodbye Breakfast the following day and, no surprise, they still looked perfect. If we weren't going on our honeymoon the following day, I would have taken as many as I could home. The best!!! read more

I am in love with this place! Friendly and knowledgable staff who demonstrate an obvious passion and interest in the plants they select and sell. Beautiful and reasonably-priced pottery. Lots of succulents (my favorite choice of potted plants for my office), and I love their case of air plants. They even sell mini bags of soil so you don't have to haul a huge bag home just to repot a house plant! Brilliant. read more

Sally and Windham flowers just did the flowers for our wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect and even better than I imagined. I especially loved my bouquet, but all the pieces were great. Sally made crowns of baby's breath for the flower girls and a delicate one for the maid of honor. Stunning! We both enjoyed working with Sally through out the process. read more

Windham Flowers and Devan (hi Devan!) worked on my wedding flowers, ranging from petals for the flower girl, a fresh flower hair piece to clip into my curls, flowers to line to aisles of the ceremony, and flowers for the tables in the reception. In each piece of their work I was 100% impressed. The process leading up to our wedding day was also equally as impressive. Devan and Windham flowers were very responsive and articulate in our correspondence. They are both knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! They went above and beyond, sending me pictures of different ideas and meeting with us several times before the wedding. They accommodated our preferences and are really just lovely people. I highly recommend this place for anything you need. Their work is stunningly beautiful! And I could not be happier with the experience and the outcome, and I think you will be too. Go check them out! read more
