However, I have a son who LOVES being read to, so I've been trying to make a point of buying him books, particularly from independent bookstores, since they're becoming scarcer and scarer every year. We stopped by Everyone's Books and it's what you would expect out of an independent bookstore. It felt a tad cluttered, yet very welcoming and cozy at the same time, if that even makes sense! The books seemed very diverse, inclusive, and topical - considering current events. I almost picked out a book or two for myself, but then I was like, "hahaha, don't even kid yourself!" There were some "sale" books out on tables in the middle of the store, but as you can expect, you are paying list price for most of these books - which we should be happy to do if we want to hang onto the very few bookstores we have left! After perusing the children's book section for a little bit, I picked out two social justice/awareness books for my kiddo. The register clerk lady was pleasant and quick and we were well on our way. However, like 5 minutes later, I returned back into the store after unsuccessfully hunting down a public restroom, and the sweet register lady said she forgot to give me the store's free bookmark, so it was serendipitous that I showed back up.

The charcuterie boards caught my attention, but they were a little heavy to carry back on the plane. I did purchase a few gift cards, that were locally made. The clerks are friendly, but let you roam without pressure. Prices are high, as you would expect for handcrafted items. They have a public restroom. There is metered street parking out front. Worth a visit and a great place to buy meaningful gifts.

You immediately get that smell of old books when you walk in. That leather bound scent that just doesn't exist in books that are made now in days. From the very start, he was so kind and very welcoming. He engaged in casual conversation with me in the most comforting and friendly way. He was adorable and sweet. I was just looking around and seeing what they had and he acted like I was the most important customer. I had no intention of buying anything - since I was just window shopping that day, but I really wanted to support him and his business and ended up purchasing a very cute pair of elephant earrings. Since then I've seen Greg around and have come to find he's just a wonderfully kind man. You definitely want to check this place out. I wrapped SOOO many gifts in high school that I am totally a master at it now. I can make a seriously impressive bow with a couple feet of ribbon. Wow, after coming here I created decided to create a "gift ideas stores list" although a good…read morequantity of mid century they aren't limited to that and they have great selection of asian, oddity, bohemian clothing, art work and prints. Just an amazing curated collection of cool items, making it really easy to find things for guys and things for yourself. Even the furniture in the store that was just serving the purpose of holding items like the two antique wood factory racks really add to the overall ambiance of this location. Great value, consistently everything here is priced less than what it would cost to get online. Not a junk store like the store down the street they are they vintage ans consignment all in one location. Service is great, owner is really attentive and helps with finding items when there are requests. Althouhj you can see the whole store from when you come in it can take avout 40 minutes to an hour to carefully go through and see everything. Can't wait to come back here again.

The books here are used but they're in a nice clean space and mostly in very good to excellent/basically new condition, so it is a great place to buy giftable books. It isn't the largest used bookstore in town but the owner clearly stocks with an eye for nice or interesting books--it feels bigger because the book selection is higher quality than usual and there is a lot to browse. The owner was very nice and chatted with us about other bookstores in the Pioneer Valley. I will definitely return!
