As a single mom I was super worried about making big moves but I was quite intrigued with her because she had accomplished my goals plus more. From woman to woman, I am so glad I met her because she had my best interest at heart. After I told her what my plans are, she told me things I need to avoid that no one else had brought up before and things I may want to consider instead to save money and time. Thank God! I would have put myself in a bind if she didn't advise me. Today I own multiple homes and because of her, I saved so much! Heartache, stress as well as financially. I will always go back to her with all of my real estate plans. So it's been a while and I lost her number. I found her again through Yelp and I'm so glad. She has helped many people buy and sell in my price range. I trust her to be honest and upfront with me if my plans are good, bad or have issues I should be careful with. Thank you Thu!! You have been awesome! I can't explain how grateful I am to have you! P.S. Thank you for always answer me so quickly! Best response time agent!

After talking to Thu, she went far beyond by coming out and giving me a whole report on selling options and pros/cons to sell now vs later. Out of 7 realtors, she was the only one who went far above and beyond. We have decided to wait for a better time, but I've already chosen her to be my realtor. Thu, thank you so much the detailed report and all the tips to get my home ready. You're super sweet! Appreciate your patience with me! I know I asked a lot of questions. ;)

After our initial conversation with her, we didn't expect to move forward with the home buying process so soon, but we did. I remember telling my fiancé right after we ended our conversation with Liz that I wanted her to be our agent. I truly appreciated how people centered, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable she is about the process. She made us feel completely comfortable asking questions and helped us clearly understand what the home buying journey would look like. Liz never made us feel rushed or pressured into anything. She truly respected our pace and guided us with patience and understanding every step of the way. Since my finance and I currently live in Los Angeles, Liz took her time to tour several homes that we were interested in. All of the videos she sent to us were extremely thorough and informative which made our process easier. It felt like we were actually there although we were miles away. We really appreciate Liz for taking the time to record and share the tours with us while giving us her opinion on things that stood out to her that were concerning. This is something we would not have been able to pick up on since we were not present. Liz really listened to what we were looking for in a home and she delivered. We cannot recommend her enough! She is truly an AMAZING agent to work with. We're beyond thankful for Liz and The Porchlight Group. If we ever decide to buy another home in the future, we are absolutely going back to her! IN LIZ WE TRUST!!

Being in Las Vegas but looking for a place in Seattle and not knowing ANYONE or where or how to even begin the process. I used YELP for what is here for...to find businesses and read reviews. I searched Realtors and started to read reviews. After reading several reviews I knew I wanted to go with a smaller vs. a bigger company (where they might hand you off to whoever or you get lost in the shuffle). SOOOOO glad I went with Liz! I really believe that things happen for a reason and people come into your life for a reason. From the first time I spoke to her she had a great energy and vibe and I knew she was going to be a hustler. I was already impressed from the get go! In the beginning I explained what my husband and I were looking for, (which I thought were pretty strange requests criteria...because this condo was going to be used for our employee, it needed to be within a certain proximity, near the airport and within our budget). Liz just rolled with it and got on it. I think it was that night or the next we were already Facetiming a property we were interested in...that's how quickly she was on it! BTW she gives great video commentary and is thorough and honest with her review of the places. Not being there and actually seeing something in person for such a large purchase is kind of scary, but it truly was a great experience that I wasn't expecting. She listened and cared about our opinions and was never pushy. So right now the market is CRAZY!! We put in about 3-4 offers starting in February and kept getting outbid by cash offers and waiving everything. Finally we found something that was perfect for us and had keys and were moving in on April 8! We got to do a little fixer upping (Liz helped with finding a contractor) and was able to pick out flooring, paint and light fixtures, to our liking, all for asking price (seller was throwing in some $). BEYOND impressed with Liz and her team! From start to finish and all throughout the process Liz always kept in touch and updated with what was going on. Almost daily emails with new listings or possible places then following up with which ones we were interested in seeing. She was ON TOP of it! Not sure how she keeps it all straight because you will feel as if you are her only client (which I know we weren't), with how dedicated and on top of it she is. She was very knowledgeable, patient, kind, generous and helpful in SO MANY WAYS! You will NOT regret choosing her and her team to buy or sell your home! Just give her a call and she will get right on it...because she can't help it and truly loves what she does, and also loves to work! lol

Her help was immeasurable. I can't promise it'll work out like this for everyone, but we got a full-price offer on the first day! I absolutely recommend Desi if you're selling your home or considering renting it out. She'll go over the pros and cons and honestly tell you what, if any, improvements are worth the cost before putting your home on the market. She's great, just call her.

Another unique aspect was the fact that while reflected as having been build in 1977, having been fully remodeled it was all new inside and out. Given all the uniqueness though Desi was excited to work with us and was continually positive throughout the entire process. Desi was also very honest and accurate with her feedback regarding staging, listing content, etc. and didn't just listen but really heard what was important to us. We also really appreciated the process that Desi used as well as the level of documentation provided. Desi provided her documentation not only digitally but critical documents especially, she provided in physical form as well. Desi's ability to support DocuSign was also invaluable. Another part of Desi's process that we really liked and seemed unique to her, was a House Warranty during the sale and a defined period post sale. This not only provided the buyers with a sense of security but also provided us with that as well. We started the sale process late fall and were concerned about trying to sell during that time but Desi felt we'd be fine so we moved forward with the intent to list for 4 weeks before the holiday's, fully expecting to have to pull the listing and re-list the following spring. We were amazed by the level of engagement Desi provided and the speed at which she prepared for open houses and in a short 4 week period she succeeded in finding the perfect buyers for our little unique piece of heaven! We truly believe we wouldn't have successfully sold our house and for the sale point we wanted without Desi, we highly recommend her!!

This review is for Joyce Speight, a realtor who works in Re/Max Choice Executive office…read more Agreeing Joyce to be our buyer agent was the biggest mistake I have ever made in my whole life. She is the most unprofessional, inexperienced, arrogant, and unethical realtor I have ever worked with. We were introduced to Joyce by another agent, whom we initially would like to hire as our buyer agent. Due to some limitations, Joyce wrote the offer for us. And our nightmare began. The following things I listed are 100% true experiences. 1. Joyce doesn't put our best interest as her priority, claimed she only gets paid by sellers, and she doesn't work for us. Even though we provided a very good offer to the sellers, Joyce tried to hoax us to pay for the unknown King county capacity charge in the first offer. We were lucky that we found it and asked her to change the offer. She asked " What if the sellers do not accept it? What will you guys want to do? Not to buy it? ..." We were astonished when she presumably thought we had no choice but to buy this house through her. 2. Joyce doesn't treat customers with courtesy. She has always been giving us brush-offs whenever we have questions. Her attitude was basically either "you-guys-know-nothing-why-don't-you-shut-up" or "who-told-you-that". We are new to Washington State and we indeed do not possess much real estate knowledge. She sensed we were eager to purchase this house and wanted to close as soon as possible. She used this to threaten us at least a couple of times. She suggested us to order inspection (her guys of course) and then told us not to ask sellers to fix anything. 3. Joyce lacks realtor experience. She intentionally scheduled appraisal before the new carpet was installed. She slowed down the closing process and our loan agent had to make up the schedule by putting more hours. Our loan agent complained several times how unprofessional she was during the closing time. 4. She was not willing to do anything extra for us. She did not even bother to show up at the closing. 5. Her attitude was always negative throughout the whole closing time. She doesn't have a can-do attitude and kept telling us nothing can be done to make the closing a smooth transaction. From her emails, we have never felt she cared for us. She wrote: "obviously our personalities just clash. Had we had the opportunity to get to know each other prior to this transaction, I may not have taken you on as a client, or vice versa. " This happened just a few days before closing. We had no choice but to tolerant her rudeness and moved on. Overall, working with her was a horrible experience. I seriously doubt whether she has a very good reputation as she boasts. We were extremely disappointed. We stuck with her after the contract was signed. Update on 5/24/16: Laura Roth, the owner of the office, called me wrathfully and questioned why I threatened them. She concluded abruptly without talking to me: " You are lying! You lied about the closing delay! " Laura also questioned why I did not report the issues earlier. On 5/20/16 I did go to the Re/Max office. She was too busy to listen to my complaints. She would rather believe what Joyce told her than spend a few minutes to find out what really happened. I had to hang up because she started to attack me using abusive words. Laura immediately left a message saying this review is "a slander" to her company and she will contact yelp to get it removed. My review is honest and not a slander. I never meant to threaten anyone, instead I hope the issues will be addressed and their service can be improved in the future. This company probably will not do anything since the management does not take any less than perfect reviews positively.

I offered more then and my offer was not presented to the seller resulting in them getting much less for the listing. If I were the seller I would be very upset. I could speculate that maybe they helped out a friend who wanted a deal or just did not want to do the extra work. 20 k for the seller is only 300 extra in her pocket. It's a shame the market is so hot, because people like her can continue to make money even when they act without integrity. People don't sell houses often so people like Rosie don't have to worry about return business.

They were excellent in every way, communication was great, and having a whole team working my houses meant constant responsiveness. Here are some example details of what they did for me: They called to tell me my offer had been accepted - on a house that I had talked myself into liking, but no longer wanted, having just found my dream house in a brand new listing minutes earlier. When I told them this, they did not get mad at all. They found a legitimate way to rescind my offer on that house, got me in to view the dream house within 2 hours of when it went online. They then hosted a last minute open house to find a buyer for my old house so we could put in a non-contingent offer on my dream house, which had a deadline for offers only 3 days away. They sold my house at that open house the next day. Thru phone, email, fax, driving, they tirelessly worked to speed up the timing on my old house sale so that the dream house offer could, in fact, go in non-contingent with an entire 10 minutes to spare before the deadline. I now live in that dream house and LOVE IT. They chased down everything when my old house closing was delayed by the buyers' VA mortgage company, including informing the buyers' agent of the delay, which she didn't even know about. When I was finishing the last 2 hours of cleaning my old house before handing over the keys, the gas fireplace suddenly stopped working. First I panicked, then I called the team, and they had a handyman over to fix it in 45 minutes so the closing wouldn't be delayed. They were excellent at advising on which repairs and upgrades to make to my old house while minimizing my costs. Twice they talked me out of spending $$ on a new bathroom vanity, told me to just paint the bathroom instead. They were right. They wanted me to keep that money to spend in my dream house. They gave good advice on pricing for offers on new houses and listing price for my old house. They were friendly and professional throughout. I will use ONLY the Rourke Team for any future real estate needs and recommend them VERY HIGHLY.
