Avoid this company/apartments at ALL costs…read more The apartment I'm at is filthy as they didn't bother cleaning out the vents or AC units or appliances. The floor is cheap and creaky and has tons of bugs coming out from the boards. A perk of the poorly done floors is you can hear each and every step your up stairs neighbor take. The water pressure is awful and the water is constantly either too cold or too hot. The water completely shut off in the apartment and it took the management 24hrs to even acknowledge it. (Took two days for it to be resolved). The hot water broke and it also took 24hrs for them to acknowledge it (it's still broken as I'm typing this). Good luck with any maintenance request. It's incredibly difficult and frustrating to even get a person on the phone. Much less get actual maintenance people in. We submitted a request for maintenance, didn't hear back for 1 month. Then, they no called no showed to the appointment. Didn't hear a thing until 2 months later where they randomly showed up after the problem had been resolved BY US. This company is the worst and I wouldn't recommend signing a lease with ANY of their locations. They truly don't care about anything but money. The apartments are total shit holes, even for $1,000-1,500 apartments.

For example: Goodeill vs. Madison Real Estate in which Madison lost as they were taking advantage and stealing the defendant's deposit. There is truly not a worse company in Spokane. We lived in a home for 3 years, and during the 3rd year Madison took over as property management. There's a long list of how awful it was, including random charges for no reason. The kicker was when we moved out they charged us $1650 for "cleaning" and removing leftover items. The debris belonged to the home owner including doors, an a/c unit, etc. The worst part was they charged us for removal, and never actually removed anything (someone purchased the home shortly after we moved out, and we talked with them and confirmed that Madison did not clean or remove anything from the home, but still charged us). They even went as far as to charge for clearing moss off of the fence, which they never did. I can't express how terrible this company is.

I find they will tell you whatever you want in your face but can't get a follow threw or call back. There are 8 people and 2 dogs (4 adults), that are living above me in a 2 bedroom apartment! So unfair to have to pay what I do and can't sleep any hours of the night. It would be great if I could even manage a nap in the afternoon but they allow their kids to roller skate around the apartment FOR HOURS, with dogs chasing. I know because I have looked up there on thier balcony where they also skate around. I have been promised many times they would do something, and then promised many more they were going to move me, yet have never followed threw but I'm 6 months into my lease and I don't think it's fair for me to have to move my fully decorated apartment (with only 6 months left) when I was here first and I am not the rude inconsiderate one. When I finally confronted the family myself they told me they could be as loud as they wanted until 10pm. I pay 1700 for an apartment, no fitness center, no pool, no community hang out, JUST MY APARTMENT and a response would be nice from the management company. Also I was told the building was a secure building, which considering there are 8-9 air B and Bs in my building that have people in and out, porns being shot, parties being thrown, trash in the parking lot, drunks screaming in the parking lot all night, dogs pooping in the door way and being left. I am a single women living alone I don't need the crowd that comes threw these air b and bs having full access to my building, that's not secure, not to mention no cameras in building or parking lot. When people don't live here they don't respect it, and the air b and be are a huge problems. It's absolute chaos and unexceptable when tenants pay what they do for what they do. I am counting down days to be out of this apartment and w a better management company! Not to mention most these good reviews are from thier own employees, most likely forced upon hire.
