Everyone was informative, fair priced and prompt. We couldn't have had an easier time buying our home. We have been in a few weeks now and love it so very much. I miss seeing and talking to you all. Buying our dream home turned out to be a long and complicated journey, and I honestly don't know…read morehow we would've made it through without Chris. From the beginning, there were issues with land boundary lines that could've easily derailed the process, but Chris calmly and methodically pulled together the right people - from land surveyors to county officials - to keep things moving. What really stood out was how reliable and level-headed he was, no matter what curveball came our way. Even now, eight months after our initial offer and after moving into the home four months ago, he's still following up to make sure everything is finalised properly - making sure we end up with exactly what we set out to buy. Chris has been a steady hand through a stressful process, and I can't recommend him highly enough.

One example is that our carpet had stretched and developed some waves. He found a very reasonably priced carpet installer who was able to come on short notice and get our home ready to list in peak selling season. When our buyer's inspection revealed a costly repair that was necessary on the front porch, Chris acted fast to gather multiple estimates for the work from reputable contractors. We found a repair company that was agreeable for both us and the buyers and kept our closing on time! I strongly recommend Chris Canning when you're looking for a realtor!

Buyer or selling a home is a long process and can get quite emotional at times. Shanann was a rock through the whole process and understood every fear and concern that my husband or I raised. We planned to relocate to N. Idaho to be near family. We contacted Leslie at the N. Idaho Century…read more21 real estate office and signed an offer on property that our daughter recommended. When we contacted Leslie concerning our offer, she said the sellers made a counteroffer, but she didn't like the verbiage and was rewriting it. She rewrote our original offer, incorporating the seller's requests, which were electronically signed. We have done a lot of real estate transactions, and I have to say this was the most unprofessional transaction I have ever been involved with. We had to accept or reject with a 5p.m. deadline. By that time we only had a verbal summary of the inspection and had never been forwarded a copy of the preliminary title report. We had requested a time extension to evaluate the inspection but Leslie said the owners would not grant an extension. However, in retrospect, they did offer us a 24 hour extension which was presented to us after our 5p.m. deadline. One star is being very generous.
