But…read moreI began to question his integrity when he mentioned to my brother in law that he could get a test on a water well that contradicted what a property sellers claimed. The straw that broke the camels back for me was when he bought my neighbor (who was suffering from dementia) house way below market value in Eagle Ridge. He claimed he bought it for his mother in law. Nope, he turned it into a rental. Last straw, against my gut feelings we used him to sell our home in Eagle Ridge. He merely put a sign post in the yard (which broke an irrigation line that he had his team fix) no extra effort on his part. But the big deal was he was willing for us to leave what furniture we didn't want in the house but when we asked what the buyers wanted he kept saying don't worry about it. When my wife asked if he had asked the buyers he would say "I guess I need to back out". Afterwards we ask the buyers and they said Jonas never mentioned furniture but that they would appreciate anything we left behind. Lesson learned--lots of dishonest realtors out there. When looking for a realtor make sure you get one familiar with your neighborhood.
