Said they would transfer my existing escrow account from Adept... they didn't. Shortly afterwards, I reached a human (Jody) she said she'd check and call me back... didn't. Since then, three times called, waited on hold, was prompted for phone# so "next available agent" could call me back... didn't. Called the local number for Allegro... has greeting, but then after a wait says number not available and hangs up. NO voicemail even. read more

Your customer service is changed in the last year and a half they've gotten so bad you can't get a straight answer I've only talked to one person in the Washington state area that was decent and one in San Diego that was decent. Rest of them suck, worst customer service I've ever dealt with can't even get my Money out of them, can't get them to close it out, can't get a payoff quote they say they email it but I don't get the email and then my buyer doesn't get the email I'm working on closing one of my properties out for almost 2 months and still haven't gotten my money over $100,000 Soon as I get it I'm closing my last account with them for $167,000 that's owed to me I'm changing escrow companies I would never recommend these people in the first five years that I sold my properties and went through them when they were Evergreen. I considered removing my review after the company begged me to and finally set the account up today. But I find myself coming back to update my review instead. It is truly impossible to honestly give this company a single star review but that is the lowest yelp allows. You'll notice they have a two star rating presently and there is definitely a reason for it. After weeks and many hours and dozens of emails back-and-forth they managed to get the account set up. They sent over the PDF with all the details in it and every single number is wrong. The payment information is wrong, the interest information is wrong, date and fee amount is wrong. They are attempting to charge me thousands of dollars over the agreed-upon amount. Luckily I do have phone call recordings of these interactions where we agreed on one price that was thousands less dollars but I now have to spend hours getting this information off my phone system. I had considered removing the reviews and leaving these guys alone once the account was set up but I am absolutely furious that these guys are apparently using an abacus to figure out transactions involving hundreds of thousands of dollars. If you cannot trust a mortgage in escrow company to manage the numbers who can you trust? I will update this review with options for other companies you can use instead of them. Seriously not good at all. Difficult to deal with, cannot access their website on weekends??????? They are just awful. I am going to look for another service and hope they are better at everything. Just not helpful in any way. I have called there and they seem to barely know what I am talking about. They are responsible for making sure my payments are on time but have a seriously difficult time getting any help from them at all. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I am going to call the real estate attorney that drew up my papers for this purchase to tell them to stop recommending Allegro. read more

Supposedly sent out a partial homeowners insurance check before receiving the current renewal policy statement With correct amount and payment address. The check is lost... our home insurance canceled and they told me I might have to wait over the weekend find out if they can void the check and send it to the correct Insurance address for the correct amount even though we paid in plenty of time and called them three times even a with the conference call with the insurance agency. read more

First day of a take over my account from adapt escrow... They say I'm not in the system don't have a username... So I say that's fine I just pay over the phone... or we can't do that we're not at setup to use your bank ???? I hope they don't lose my title when I pay it off at the end of the year but this is just classic Washington business ... Hands down the worst customer service when it mattered most. The ownership and customer service were extremely disappointing. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake but how you deal with it counts. They made way too many big mistakes and were extremely difficult to work with. read more

Fees! Wow the fees! You will get a fee for ANYTHING they can think of. And not insignificant amounts either. Example: $60 fee for changing the due date, $50 fee for generating a payoff quote. read more

I have two accounts with this company. A new one just started. They were never very friendly or helpful the first time around, so I setup the automatic withdrawal and stopped dealing with them. I just had to deal with them again for this new account and nothing has changed. Person on the other end of the phone had no customer service skills and expected me to have a bunch of answers about something that has to do with their company. It's a shame that I have to be tied to this company for payments. At least this should hopefully be the last time I have to talk with one of their highly unprofessional staff and I can just continue with automatic withdrawal. At a time right now when millions don't have a job, you would think that those that do, would maybe try a little harder at the one they have. If you have any opportunity to not have to deal with this company I highly suggest that you do so. Take your business elsewhere at all costs. read more

I have an account with Allegro that was transferred from Adept Escrow. They've initiated an electronic payment service which I was extremely pleased to have as an option. However, after 2 payments using this method I was unable to access my online account after a software update. My sign on user name was not recognized and I was given an error message that stated "Error_user_Not_Found". Due to the holiday I was unable to contact anyone for technical support. I incurred a late fee for this and was informed by staff that I need to make a payment a week early to avoid late fees! After playing phone tag and multiple password reset emails (When it was the user name that was not recognized) I am now able to access my account. The staff were pleasant, but this is poor business and I would not recommend using their services for future transactions. Previously with Adept Escrow, I was charged late fees for them losing payments and had to give them a date and time I physically handed them my payment so they could verify that I made a payment and it was their mistake in depositing my check. This sort of business is not appropriate and again I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS HERE! read more

I have had my mortgage through Allegro Escrow for only 2 months and both months I have been very unhappy with their service. First month I did not receive any information on where to pay or a coupon till the day before it was late, even thought they had the information since the previous month. When I call to ask about payment since I had not received anything yet I was told that they could not do anything for me at this time because they have not set it up yet. To make sure my payment was not late I had to take time off of work to drive down and deliver it in person. When I was there to drop off my payment I set up auto with draw for my payment from then on. When I set up auto pay I put it for the 5th which is my payday and the last day with out late fee. I turned in all the paper work and asked the lady at the desk to go over it to see if I have missed anything or if I needed any other information. I was told no everything was good. I left thinking I had set up auto pay for the 5th. The next month comes by and no payment taken out on the 5th. I thought well it was on a Saturday maybe it will not post till Monday. Sure enough it post on Monday, I once again think everything is ok. Nope a week later I receive a notice saying our payment is late and now we have a late fee. When I call to find out about the late fee and why they say they don't have my payment not only did the person not helping me on the phone sound like I was causing her pain by just calling she was no help at all. I was told that yes it is set up for auto pay but only on weekdays and it will be late if the 5th lands on a holiday or a weekend, and no I can not call ahead of time and ask for it to be change if the 5th lands on one of these days. I can only change it once maybe 2 times. I am buying my home through the owner and now I look bad and have to pay a fine. This is information that should have been told to me before now. I know that you can have payments set through most any company to be with drawn on any date even on weekends and holidays, but not through Allegro but they will not tell you this till it is to late. I wouldn't be as mad if one of the three times I call the person on the other end was even a little kind to talk to or help me find a solution to a problem. I am going to refinance asap if nothing else then to not have to use Allegro. read more
