I had a bad experience this morning with an employee. She was rude and had lots of attitude. I've never seen her there before so I'm assuming she new because I've been going to Winchells for years. She gave me the wrong donuts and when I went back to her to give me what I asked for she threw the box on the counter. She raised her voice and gave me dirty looks. No customer service at all. I stopped in this location for a Winchell's dozen -14 donuts and a dozen of glazed for some clients I was visiting. What's great about Winchell's is that they take credit cards. This location has convenient parking too. The server was efficient and she was friendly. I was in and out within minutes. They make fresh donuts regularly and have a window inside where you can even watch. Admittedly there are quite a few homeless transients that hang around here every time I've been. They are usually harmless but can be intimidating to some folks. Last week I went to get donuts here and they let homeless people sit inside and one had came in threatened my boyfriend and I and when we got to our car he punched it 3 times. This is the best donut shop I have found in the valley so far. Are there others yes, but this one is the best I have tried. Their french curlers, old fashions, and apple fritters are tasty. Well... Can't go wrong especially when it's 2:30 morning and you got less than $20 in your pocket and want to feed 5 people. Perfect time to go 2:30-3:00 some of the freshest times to order if you like them warm. Also, my favorite doughnuts always seem to be the majorities least favorite doughnuts so it always a score for me.
