Blueberry jelly filled
Danny C.

Wow...Wow...WOW is what I have to say about this place. The best donut you'll ever have I guarantee. They taste like they are made to order and not that fake sugar icing like most have. I genuinely think they make everything in house from scratch. The donuts are soft and warm without skimping on the good parts. I like jelly filled and Teddys literally packs it in so you have some with every bite. The blueberry filling is not sweet or tart and is my favorite jelly filled donut. I definitely wish I had this place back home. It's definitely 10 stars out of 5

Best donuts in the desert! So fresh and soft and large you get your moneys worth! Friendly staff and be sure to go early as they do run out!

Great donuts. Really cheap for what you get. Lots of boba options and good coffee. The lady at the front was very nice

Yummy teas. For the milk teas, they don't have any non-dairy options... I asked and they said they…read moreonly have milk. Sad face. I like their refreshing jasmine green tea 75% sweet. I tried 50% sweet, but this is a full undiluted Jasmine so I need a little extra sweetness to take the bitterness away. Great news that it's not watered down. Hubby and I like the original mochi dog crunchy and chewy with a nice yummy hotdog & half hotdog/half mozzarella inside. Not excited that it's $.75 for a sweet chili sauce... I might bring my own next time...LOL I do like that they now have the instant Ramen option... Haven't used it yet because I can make that at home but it's nice to know I can make it out if needed... When you have a yummy chewy crispy mochinut hotdog, what else do you need?!? They have a great product, but my issues that make it a four star versus a five star are that they are not open on Monday and Tuesday and that's usually when I want to go...boohoo :-( Also, They charge I think $.60 if you use your credit card but they do have options like Cash, Zelle and Venmo that don't charge for paying those ways. All the various little upcharges are slightly bothersome... But the positive side to that is I can choose to not add those things and save some money while still enjoying the basic Mochinut experience... as long as it's not Monday or Tuesday.... I'm assuming that Monday and Tuesday were not busy enough for them and they had to do their best to utilize their staff on the other days and it seems that they chose to be open on the weekends over Monday and Tuesday, which is probably a good business decision... So I'd rather them stick around because they make good decisions for their business, even though they're kinda not available when I want. It's better to have them survive in this hard California business climate. There is nothing like Mochinut, so we can all compromise a bit. So there you go if I didn't have any issues with open days & upcharges, they'd have a five star based on product & service.

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.
