Best Apple fritter period. My family and I love them. We have tried many Apple fritters and Teddys are the best.

Bad donuts! Fritters too much sugar, not enough apple. Bear claws no almond, apple filling instead. Would not buy from there again.

Yummy teas. For the milk teas, they don't have any non-dairy options... I asked and they said they…read moreonly have milk. Sad face. I like their refreshing jasmine green tea 75% sweet. I tried 50% sweet, but this is a full undiluted Jasmine so I need a little extra sweetness to take the bitterness away. Great news that it's not watered down. Hubby and I like the original mochi dog crunchy and chewy with a nice yummy hotdog & half hotdog/half mozzarella inside. Not excited that it's $.75 for a sweet chili sauce... I might bring my own next time...LOL I do like that they now have the instant Ramen option... Haven't used it yet because I can make that at home but it's nice to know I can make it out if needed... When you have a yummy chewy crispy mochinut hotdog, what else do you need?!? They have a great product, but my issues that make it a four star versus a five star are that they are not open on Monday and Tuesday and that's usually when I want to go...boohoo :-( Also, They charge I think $.60 if you use your credit card but they do have options like Cash, Zelle and Venmo that don't charge for paying those ways. All the various little upcharges are slightly bothersome... But the positive side to that is I can choose to not add those things and save some money while still enjoying the basic Mochinut experience... as long as it's not Monday or Tuesday.... I'm assuming that Monday and Tuesday were not busy enough for them and they had to do their best to utilize their staff on the other days and it seems that they chose to be open on the weekends over Monday and Tuesday, which is probably a good business decision... So I'd rather them stick around because they make good decisions for their business, even though they're kinda not available when I want. It's better to have them survive in this hard California business climate. There is nothing like Mochinut, so we can all compromise a bit. So there you go if I didn't have any issues with open days & upcharges, they'd have a five star based on product & service.

I don't know how they do it but darn they get it right every time. The sandwich's are fantastic! I…read morealways get the OG Pastrami and Turkey and they always hit the spot. I want to eat their dessert but always get too full from the sandwiches to try it. If you are ever in the area, must try sandwich shop. The accolades in the back with their story is pretty sweet. Also the service and ambiance is excellent as well. Of course the cost is a bit much but what isn't expensive these days!

I had seen all the Yelp reviews of this spot, including being ranked #1 in the NATION a few years…read moreback. I decided to stop on my way home from LA, and get some lunch. Honestly, wish I hadn't................ I got in line, not too busy, maybe 8 people in front of me. I ordered the Sexy Italian, minus olives and mayo. That, and a bag of chips was $23.00. Good lord! Better be good, right? How was it, you ask? Shitty! First of all, I took a seat in the room with the huge table behind the drinks. There was shit all over the table...napkins, crumbs, mustard stains etc. Wipe that shit down, man, seriously! Anyways.....I got my sandwich fairly quick. First thing I noticed was that it looked straight up like Kirkland/Costco ham on the sandwich. Nothing wrong with Kirkland ham, I buy it and eat it all the time, but for an Italian sandwich that costs $18 by itself, step up the meat game, man! The salami was cut pretty thick too and had a very overpowering smoke flavor. It was too saucy with the pesto and mustard and hard to eat. The kicker was the bread. It was a "parmesan roll", but it looked and tasted almost underbaked. It was really thin too! Subways Italian herb and cheese bread is way better, honestly. I bit in and was immediately disappointed. The quality of meat was bad, the bread was crappy, the produce was skimp, plus it was messy as a mofo. I ate half of the sandwich, and tried to take another bite of the second half, and I couldn't do it. Threw it away. Waste of $23.00. At least the Salt and Vinegar chips I picked out were good, lol! Definite one and done for me. Not sure how they have almost 5000 mostly positive reviews. Maybe people in Indio have different taste buds? Who knows. I shall not return. Meh.

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.
