We were passing through this city and decided to stop here, and I'm so glad we did!…read moreThe menu is huge with tons of choices, sandwiches, burgers, flatbreads, smoothies, and more! We got duck wantons for an appetizer, which was 10 out of 10, and the slaw underneath was delicious! We also got onion rings, which were the best onion rings I've ever had! For the main meal we got the G.O.A.T Flatbread which was sooo good the only issue I had was that it was served in a box so impossible to eat without everything falling off so I basically ate it like a salad with a side of Flatbread. Still delicious. When in the area, we will definitely stop here again!

I got the margarita on their Halloween drink menu, and they weren't lying that it was stiff! I would've loved if it was Halloween themed though. We got the garlic parm burger and the Nashville chicken sandwich, both were really good! The bun on the burger is small but the patty was very thick and juicy. Overall, the theming was very fun but I would've loved if the food and drink had a bit more of a Halloween twist.

I was on my way back from a day trip to Toledo and starving for lunch. I looked up restaurants…read morealong the route and the Huron River Inn BBQ popped up and so decided to try it. I'm so glad I stopped. The location is right off I-75 and next to the Huron River of course. The river runs directly behind the restaurant and is quite pretty. The restaurant has a bar type section as well as a bright sunroom type space. We sat in the sunroom since it was empty and we're trying to be as COVID-safe as possible. The waitress was very friendly and explained the menu, their specials and the three different bbq sauces they offer (spicy, standard and a mustard type). The menu was full of very tempting comfort food (maybe not so healthy, but hey sometimes you just need something satisfying). We opted for the homemade chips with french onion dip ($4.95) and each ordered a BBQ pulled pork sandwich ($8.95). The sandwiches had a choice of baked beans, Mac and cheese or fries if I recall correctly. Other options (e.g. onion rings) were available for a surcharge. We opted for the baked beans and Mac and cheese. The chips were our favorite item, but who can resist delicious hot from the fryer homemade chips - I know I can't! The sandwiches were IMG huge. The pulled pork was heaped at least 4 inches over the bun. We each scraped about half off and saved the rest for future sandwiches at home. My sandwich was good and juicy, though I would have liked a bit better flavor from the sauces - they were fine but not as good as my favorite sauce from another bbq place. I like intense flavor though. The mac and cheese was better than Stouffer's but not knock your socks off and come back for just the mac and cheese if you catch my drift - it was good as a side though for sure. Between the service, food, decent prices and very pleasant location, .I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend the Huron River Inn BBQ.

We went on a Friday night for a special Halloween event night and they were under staffed and…read morerunning around without any direction. Arrived at 6:00 pm and waited 10 minutes for a table to be cleared. Once seated, waited another 10 minutes for waitress to come back. Took our drink order and I suggested we put our food order in at the same time. Waitress told us no, let me get your drinks and I'll be right back for your food order. We received a pitcher of water right away and didn't receive our drinks for another 15 minutes. Food order wasn't taken until 7 pm and we sat until 8:30 waiting for food that arrived cold. I really think that our server forgot to put our order in but did not bother to get everything out hot once she put it in. When we asked about our food at 8 pm the place was pretty cleared out, so the kitchen was not the issue. Did not seem to have any management and not enough extra help to handle a special event. Will not return.

Came back with my group of friends again this year. This visit was a lot better. Our server was…read morereally great with suggestions and answers to our questions. She also brought over her relief server to introduce us formally. There was live music - loud enough to hear and sing along, if you want, but quiet enough to hear others at the table if you wanted to talk/visit with them. I appreciated that. The music was varied but mostly stayed in the 70's and 80's. This time, I ordered the Honey Boo-boo Flatbread and side of Husb Puppies. Our wait wasn't as bad as it was last year, hence, most of the reason for the extra star this time. The food arrived hot as well. The flatbread was flavorful but didn't have a lot of heat from the hot honey although you could taste the sweetness from it. The hush puppies were very good.
